I found the staff carers, management and activities to be wonderfully kind, dedicated and caring to my father and our family. It felt like one big home and I will be eternally grateful as my father loves his time at Rowanweald and was cared for and was very happy. Thank you.

I found the care provided at Rowanweald Residential and Nursing Home excellent from the nursing staff down to the cleaning staff. My mother was treated with the utmost care and respect during her 6-month stay and the staff treated us all like family. The home was clean and well-staffed and expertly run by the manager who is just wonderful.

I am extremely satisfied with the care given to my wife as a resident in the care home. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating nothing was too hard for them to do when a request was made. They were very professional in their dealings with me and my wife. Nothing was too hard for them to accommodate. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for all they have done for my wife, myself and my friends we are all very grateful. Thank again!

My mother is in Magnolia and is being very well cared for by the lovely staff.
They have developed a very good relationship with her and are considerate, attentive, supportive and treat her with great respect.
My brother and I are kept well informed about mum's status and we are both very pleased that we chose Rowanweald as mum's home.
All the staff are wonderful and I would particularly like to thank them for their care and support.

A few more activities would be welcomed with some of them held in Magnolia.

Mum liked the home and appreciated what was being done for her. During her final days, the home made her comfortable and helped her, and the family. Any questions the family had were always resolved quickly and to the family's satisfaction. The home is bright and cheerful and has recently been redecorated. We are very glad Mum stayed at Rowanweald.

This care home is beautiful light and has a lovely warm and welcoming receptionist. The staff on the Magnolia suite where my mother is a resident, are the most caring and happy people I have ever met. They have great patience and have become really great friends. I always look forward to visiting my mother every second day, she is well looked after by the lovely carers and we are always given tea and biscuits.
I have also made good friends with the residents and their families.

I can't thank everyone enough for keeping my mother safe and happy.

Initially, I was very disappointed.
My room was not ready - no soap, towel, alarm or bin and no TV.
Plus a neighbouring patient was very noisy and I needed rest and comfort.
I was moved the next day into a much better room and I have been extremely happy.

The staff are, without exception, wonderfully kind, considerate and patient.

From what I see, my husband is cared for with great understanding and respect. He enjoys the meals and appreciates the activities and was pleased to be included in a recent visit to a local school. We both enjoyed the 14th February lunch and the musical entertainment. They are all a very professional, kind group of people with a different job to do.

Dad was at Rowanweald for 3 years. Being coeliac, the home was very helpful sorting his food. The staff were kind and caring not only with dad, but also made mum very welcome when she visited. Dad was very happy at the home and was treated with dignity to his end.

All of the staff were kind and attentive. My uncle had lived alone for 50 years and so having people coming to his room threw him somewhat and he could seem quite tense at times. The staff were understanding and handled him well. Our family were very happy with his care and are grateful for their good work including moving him to a better room when it became available.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Have had three friends resident here, one was the first ever person to move in. All three are/were very difficult. The first lady told me how good the food was. Several of the staff have gone from the nursing home where my mother was and from the home where my friend (no. 2) was originally.

My dad started living at Rowanweald in June 2016. The support and communication from all staff made the settling in easier both for him and his family. The atmosphere at the home is friendly, relaxed and caring, alongside being professional in the care my father receives. We were dreading Christmas and dad not being with us as home, however, the build up to Christmas with the decorations, music, entertainers meant that we were able to enjoy his festive period with him in his 'new home'. We spent a very lovely enjoyable Christmas Day with him. A huge thanks to all the amazing staff.

When my mum stayed at this care home, the staff at Rowanweald were always very friendly, approachable and most importantly caring. The staff were always available to answer any questions. My mum always said herself she had no complaints about the carers they all treated her very well. The home organised many different activities for the residents which my mum enjoyed.
