My grandma has been a resident of this care home for a couple of months. I have noticed a very positive shift in her health and wellbeing whilst staying here. All of the medical care and activities provided are of a very high standard and the residents needs are always put first. I would definitely recommend Barchester Southgate and Beaumont care community to anyone searching for high quality care.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us to continue to provide the highest standard of care. I will share your kind words with the team and we will continue to ensure that your grandma is provided with the care that she needs.
Mum's meals were tailored to her health needs and were nutritious and plentiful. Her hygiene was attended to impeccably. All the staff were supportive and caring and the nursing staff made sure we could all be with Mum when she passed. We are so grateful to them all for the time we got to spend with Mum and for they way they cared for her so tenderly.
I will be sure to share your kind words with the team.
it was a privilege to care for your mother, and we are grateful for the trust you...
The staff at the home are second to none. The continuity of care is fantastic with the same carers and nurses around as familiarity is so paramount. Everyone is kind, empathetic and attentive. All the residents are treated with decency, respect and kindness.
The management are fantastic. Beatrice and Veronica are friendly, always accessible and are open in their communication with residents and their families.
We have been very lucky to experience this level of care, kindness and compassion during a very difficult time for our family and for my mother in law. We are grateful that my mother in law has the quality of life she does since coming to the home, and has the opportunity to enjoy life as a whole.
Knowing that your loved one is being cared for by people who truly take the time to understand them brings enormous comfort, and that is exactly what we experienced. The staff were not only attentive to her needs but also supportive and caring towards our family during difficult times.
The final stage of someone's life is incredibly important, and I will always be thankful that my mum was surrounded by people who helped make her feel safe, comfortable, and valued. We will never forget the kindness shown to her and to us. Thank you all for everything you did, your care made a real difference, and it will always be appreciated.
The environment that she is in is definitely the best I find and she is most comfortable and happy in this environment.
Thank you for your review. We value every review we receive. Thank you for your kind words, i will let the team know.
First class service and care for my 2 week stay after a knee replacement. A lovely old well kept home with very attentive staff for my every need. I throughly recommend this care home for anybody who needs respite.
Your kind words truly mean a great deal to us. We will be delighted to share your feedback with the whole team, who will be so pleased to hear it.
My father loves the activities and social experiences that the home provides, he especially loves going to the local diner with the activities coordinator.
The building and facilities are excellent and maintained efficiently, the grounds are lovely and the choice of a former stately home to have this wonderful nursing facility located makes the experience ten times better.
Thank you very much for your review and your kind words about the home. We value all the reviews we receive as they help us to improve the way we work. It is such a pleasure looking after your father. He has so many stories to tell, especially about the time he spent as a broadcaster. We learn so much from him everyday.
Thank you for everything

My mother recently turned 100, and the home made it a very special day for her , she said to me it had been a much better day than expected, they even had the idea to write to a university she had attended just after the war , that made the day even more special
Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey. A 100th birthday is a very special day. It was our pleasure to have made it even more special. I will share your review with the team.
The staff and all concerned treated me with kindness and care. Always there was a smile and offers of help if I needed it. I was here for 2 weeks post surgery and needed to be looked after and I was admirably. Thank you to you all for your help, professionalism but most of all kindness.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to complete a review. It was wonderful getting to know you and we thank you for your kind words which we will share with the team.
My mother just died but I think she had one of the happiest years of her life at the Barchester Southgate Beaumont Care Community. She was a quirky, unusual, outspoken and authentic person but she learnt them and they learnt her and she experienced wonderful belonging and love. She joined in every activity, from the art lectures, book group, exercise, quizzes, residents' meetings, fairs, film nights, social drinks and surprisingly, thoroughly enjoyed menopause sessions. She made beautiful friendships with residents and staff and I have so many happy memories at the Beaumont, using their stunning grand rooms and gardens for our families' birthday events. Even karaoke was ok! I can't thank the manager and the team enough for all their patience, creativity, attention, care and love!
Thank you so very much for taking the time to complete a review, especially at this very sad time. Our condolences to you and your family. It was an honour to know your mother and our pleasure to care for her. She will be missed by us all.
After the visit, our minds were made up that this was the home for our mum.
The level of care by the care team is second to none, nothing is ever too much trouble. Thank you.
The building is amazing and very well looked after with high standards of cleaning and hygiene at all times.
Food, great choice with very good quality.
Thank you to everyone at the home, your efforts, love and care are much appreciated.
Thank you all.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. It is our pleasure to care for your mum and to get to know you and your family. Our team will appreciate their hard work has been recognised. Thank you.
From start to end, our families experience at the Barchester Southgate Beaumont Care Community was outstanding. Not only were my grandmother's last days/weeks made comfortable and unforgettable, each member of our family was made to feel just as important. The quality of staff was amazing and something we will cherish forever.
Even though we were in beautiful surroundings, what made it so special was the staff. Everyone, absolutely everyone, was caring, attentive to Mum, supportive to me and the rest of the family. I have never experienced such love and true care from everyone. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my broken heart for being there for us.
Our sincere condolences to you and your family at this very sad time. It was our honour to be part of your family's care for your mother. Our team are very grateful for your very kind words and the love you gave to us.
Her care at the home has been exemplary both in the nursing sense and the emotional support she has received. Despite being mainly bedbound she has been free of pressure sores and any medical complaint has been dealt with swiftly and efficiently. The staff are, without exception, caring, friendly and helpful and the home is run extremely efficiently by manager. The food is excellent.
There are a number of varied social activities that take place daily, organised by the ever-enthusiastic co-ordinator and the atmosphere of the nursing home is one of good cheer and warmth.
As a retired social worker, I have over the years visited scores of residential/nursing homes and I can honestly say Southgate Beaumont is the best I have come across.
I cannot recommend the nursing home highly enough.
Thank you very much for your review and kind words. Our aim always is to provide the highest standards of care. We therefore value all the reviews we receive as they help us to evaluate the care we provide.
As a relative, when visiting, I always feel welcomed and a 'part of things’, the atmosphere feels warm and upbeat. Our three adult children have all expressed a similar level of positivity following their visits to Grandma.
My mother-in-law has never really been one to join in with groups but at Southgate Beaumont she is gently encouraged to take part in some of the varied range of interesting activities available, organised by the very involved, caring and pro-active activities coordinator.
I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Southgate Beaumont to potential families (and indeed have done so only today!)
Thank you very much for your review I will let all the staff know. Our aim always is to provide the highest standards of care. We therefore value all the reviews we receive as they help us to evaluate the care we provide.
Even though she has language difficulties the staff are all extremely happy to help Mum all the time.
Cleaning her and keeping her room very clean and tidy. All the staff and the nurses are very nice and friendly.
I would highly recommend Beaumont Home for the elderly.

I spent a very happy fortnight at Barchester Southgate Beaumont recovering from a hip replacement operation. I find the staff helpful and friendly, the food just right and the activity sessions interesting and enjoyable. Southgate Beaumont engages an excellent physiotherapist. I enjoyed chatting to the residents.
Thank you so much for your kind words and five-star review. It was our pleasure to support you through your recovery. We will pass your comments on to our team.
My dad received 'end of life' care until his passing on Christmas Day. During his brief stay, Dad was very well looked after by the team of carers and nurses at Southgate Beaumont. Credit must go to the general manager for her leadership and having a great team working with her including the deputy manager, one of the key nurses, and of course the activities coordinator. I was ever present during Dad's stay, working on my laptop in a lounge adjacent to his room, which I know was of great comfort to Dad. The home is beautiful, clean and well-maintained by the cleaners and maintenance staff. Though Dad was unable to eat very much, food prepared by the chef was of a very high standard. In summary, Dad received a high level of care from a great team of professionals who really did care about Dad's well-being and who were always open to suggestions and ways in which they could improve the care given. I would have no hesitation in recommending Southgate Beaumont.
