My partner came to Southgate Beaumont Care Community for end-of-life care. His care by all the nurses, carers and cleaning staff was excellent. They treated him with care and consideration for the weeks he has with them. I cannot thank them enough.

First class care home. Fantastic grade II building with beautiful interiors. All staff are very professional and caring. The general manager conducted a pre-assessment at home out of hours, on the weekend, at very short notice. The nursing staff kept me informed of residents' health and nursing needs
continually and could not be more accommodating. The chef would prepare any meal resident wished, although the daily menu was excellent. The room overlooked beautiful grounds with all the required facilities. Would not hesitate to use this care home again, if the need arises.

I have been more than satisfied with the care and attention my mother gets in the home. Her room is spacious and comfortable and she is well looked after. Her meals are quite adequate for her needs and I am kept up to date on her condition and situation on a regular basis. My personal dealings have
always been on a helpful and understanding basis, as I live 300 miles away from the home.
In short, I would recommend this home to anyone.

My stay was excellent, the care was excellent and my stay was pleasant. I put myself in your care after a knee replacement and the management was excellent, visiting every day to see how my care was and how the staff were. I could not complain about anything.

I was very happy with my stay. The seven days passed very quickly. I enjoyed meeting staff. All the staff were very attentive, friendly and kind. The food was excellent and the nursing care was very good. I will certainly recommend Barchester Southgate Beaumont Care Community.

Very good experience. Excellent staff at every level. Made very welcome, no problem with any request.
My room was very nice and very comfortable. I did not miss a shower in the room. I preferred it the way it was with the shower room nearby. The shower just needed fixing.

I spent three weeks respite in Beaumont Southgate to spend time with my husband who is in residential care. I really enjoyed the experience and could find no fault with anything. Everything was first-class and the staff are very helpful and friendly. During my stay, it was our 60th Diamond Wedding Anniversary
and the management and staff arranged a surprise celebration do. We were overwhelmed by the lovely event and thank everyone for their thoughtfulness.

I would like to thank all the staff at Barchester Southgate involved in the care of my mother-in-law. When she arrived, she was very confused, weak and poorly. With the excellent care provided for her she regained her strength and lived her last few months in comfort. She passed away with great dignity
and for this, we shall always be grateful.

The staff are very helpful and my mum is treated wonderfully, they look after my mum very well and I am confident in their abilities to look after her. The home is clean and well run, and I have seen that my mum is treated with affection and dignity by the staff. Very happy.

I arrived just a week before lockdown in 2020. I was made very welcome and other flat residents helped me to settle in and learn how the home was organised. The staff have been most helpful, cheerful and encouraging during this difficult year. It is difficult to understand and keep abreast of the changing
regulations due to Covid.

We asked Southgate Beaumont to provide respite care after my uncle received heart surgery, he is 92. The home is spotless, extremely well furnished, warm and inviting. The level of care is world-class. The food standard is very acceptable. The carers are fantastic and always go the extra mile. We consider
ourselves very fortunate to have placed my uncle in Southgate Beaumont, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. We have received regular communication and they have kept the residents safe. A "great team".

I also have a vast amount of customer service experience, working in many West End Theatres, as Cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic and at Claridges hotel in Mayfair.

We provide a wide range of both home-led and community-led activity for all residents as well as personalised and individual hobby and interest-focused events. Our programme ranges from cocktail making, to art history talks, exercise sessions as well as fine dining dinner parties catered for by our chefs


I have made lots of lovely new friends at Southgate Beaumont care home and look forward to making many more.

Daniel Brooks

Hello my name is Daniel and I am Head Chef at Southgate Beaumont


I love being a Chef and my interest in cooking came from helping my mum when I was growing up.


I went to Crawley College to do an NVQ in Catering and Hospitality and took on a work placement in a prestigious hotel in Sussex


After qualifying as a Chef I moved to London in 2001 and worked in various gastro pubs and restaurants within The Conran Group. I also worked at Soho House and cooked for many high-profile celebrities.


I have been working at Southgate Beaumont since August 2019 as Head Chef and love being part of the team. In January 2022 I was invited to attend the Barchester Chef Academy where I am involved in the coaching and support of trainee chefs across the Barchester Group Jan 2022


I really enjoy meeting and getting to know residents. It makes me very happy to see the delight and enjoyment my food brings to people.

Hello, my name is Teresa and I am the Dementia Champion at Southgate Beaumont.


I joined Barchester in 2012.


I have been a nurse for over 15 years now and really enjoy my job.


I am here to help with any worries and offer support to residents or their families, currently living with dementia.

Hello, I am Patricia and have been at Southgate Beaumont since 2016. I joined the team as a housekeeping assistant and now oversee the team as the Head of Housekeeping and manage the daily running of laundry, washing, ironing and labelling of clothing. I work with lovely hard-working colleagues, and love getting to know the residents at Southgate Beaumont. I really enjoy my role and take much pride in ensuring the home is well looked after. and beautifully clean.  I look forward to welcoming you in our home

Hello. My name is Guyatri and I have worked at Southgate Beaumont since 1999.


My first role was as a Care Assistant, then later I developed my studies and was promoted to a Senior Carer. I have now completed an NVQ for a Care Practitioner and now work alongside nurses. I love being part of the Southgate Beaumont family and I am very proud to be part of such a great team. 


I am very dedicated to ensuring our residents are provided with high-quality care and look forward to welcoming you into our home to experience the same.
