Where to start the home have helped me and my dad during mental health crisis. Abhin was a true angel sent down. He has gone above and beyond for my mum and she has settled so well since being put there after a hospital stay. She is clean washed well cared for. The food is amazing the staff are amazing.
The chickens and ducks are amazing. The lounge is lovely. The activities are lovely the doors are always open and the staff are so well trained I cannot fault them they are a 5 star and I would give them 500. My mum has dementia and the pain and guilt we had putting her in a home was awful. But I don't feel that anymore Springfield have offered us peace and calm in knowing she is loved and respected by all. Thank you thank you abhin and all the other staff for allowing our minds to rest knowing mum is safe happy and living the best way she can with this horrible condition. We can't change it but we can make the best of it and your home and care and now mums home has allowed this x

Springfield is a totally amazing care home. Truly the best in the Borough. The dedication and care was second to none for my cousin George who was with them until February. So now it's was the natural choice for my father in law who became a new resident on Friday. We are confident that we have made
the right decision and apart from the love and care they show every resident , Our family are relieved and can sleep at night knowing my father in law is in safe hands. The home is spotlessly clean , the staff are so caring and attentive , there are lots of activities for the residents to get involved with ensuring they have a good quality of life. The management are so professional and caring they are a real credit to Bond Care. A big shout out to Karen for her friendship not only with my cousin but with me. An amazing woman. She is constantly ensuring all residents are happy. A shout out to for KP. A lovely responsible man who portrays outstanding care. Springfield - best care home ever.

The team at Springfield Care Centre has been absolutely incredible, especially the nurses and carers, who have truly gone above and beyond their duty. Every single staff member has been instrumental in supporting my mother's needs, both physically and emotionally while building a wonderful rapport with
her in such a short space of time.
We are forever grateful for their compassion, empathy and unwavering support in handling our circumstances with great sensitivity. Initially, I was skeptical but I've been deeply impressed by the excellent facilities, the genuine sense of community and the incredible effort they put into ensuring the well-being of both residents and visitors.
The entire team works tirelessly, showing dedication, kindness, warmth and professionalism. They truly are like a family, not just to my mother but to all the residents and their loved ones. We will never forget what you have done for us all. Thank you for making such a positive difference in our lives.

The nursing home has treated mum like a piece of property since she was discharged from the hospital without my consent as her lasting power of attorney and next of kin. They have decided to take her off our family GP list and have been doing a care plan without informing my mum or me. The care plan
was arranged without my consent to be at Springfield for only four weeks.

My mother came to this care home with only 3 months to live. She is still here more than 9 months later. The decision to bring her to this care home was the best and right thing to do. They truly are Angels, they care for the residents as if they are a family and the rooms are comfortable and very clean.
It's never easy to choose a home for your loved ones but this one is one of the very best. Thank you all!

My father has been residing in Springfield for two years, and I can honestly say all the staff are excellent. The cleaning staff make sure all the rooms and corridors are spotless. The laundry team wash and dry the residents' clothes daily, and the kitchen staff provide tasty and fresh food every day.
Special thanks have to go to the nurses and carers who provide exceptional care to the residents twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

Thank you for your support and hard work to keep our cousin safe and well under

My mother joined Springfield in September 2023 from another care home. Both the management team and the care staff made the transition from the other care home extremely easy. I have been very impressed with the care she is receiving at Springfield. The emphasis being on the word "care". They literally
do really care for their residents and treat them like their own family members. Managers and carers constantly have my mother's best interests at heart, and I feel at peace knowing she is being looked after so well.

My stepfather has been staying in the Springfield Care house for more than two years already. I have evidence of significant improvement in his care and stable, calm condition recently. He was really anxious, screaming and being aggressive almost all the time before. The medication and care provided
have facilitated him much. The outdoor activities are such a great idea for all the residents.

Special thanks to all the team. Dad is clearly settled and happy and I am delighted. The staff at Springfield have become an extension of our family and we are grateful for all that they do - a carer's life is not an easy one. Whenever we have a question or concern we feel able to have a conversation
with the staff who are keen to address any issues, no matter how minor. Additionally, the home is being transformed with innovative schemes and ideas. Hats off to all!

Current Review Score: 9.3 (9.298)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.3 (9.298) out of 10 for Springfield Care Centre is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.5 out of 5 from 17 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.485 for Springfield Care Centre is calculated as follows: ( (143 Excellents x 5) + (34 Goods x 4) + (6 Satisfactorys x 3) + (4 Poors x 2) + (11 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 198 Ratings = 4.485
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.813 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Springfield Care Centre is based on 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.875
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 80 registered maximum number of service users is 16. 15 Positive Reviews ÷ 16 = 0.938
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
