I would highly recommend this care centre to anyone who has to place a loved one into care. I am glad that I made the correct choice in Springfield.
It is due to the kindness and compassion of ALL the staff at Springfield that I was was able to spend an extra year with my mother and without them, I am sure I would never have had this time and for that I will be eternally grateful.

I joined Bondcare in early 2026 as Deputy Manager and am a Registered Nurse with extensive clinical and leadership experience across hospital and care home settings in the UK and overseas. I support the management team in delivering safe, high-quality, and person-centred care to all residents.
My background includes trauma nursing within the NHS, elderly and complex care, and senior nursing roles within care homes. As Deputy Manager, I play an active role in clinical governance, staff development, medication management, and safeguarding, working closely with the wider team to ensure care is delivered with dignity and compassion.

I joined the healthcare sector in 2021 and began my career in care in 2022 as a Care Home Advanced Practitioner at Springfield Care Centre, where I have greatly valued being part of the Bondcare family. Since joining, I have progressed through leadership roles to my current position as Team Leader, during which time we successfully achieved a GOOD CQC rating in 2025.
In 2024, I completed the Train the Trainer course, facilitated by the Care Home Support Team. This experience inspired me to become a trainer myself, demonstrating that with patience and guidance, individuals can gain confidence and develop new skills. I am passionate about supporting residents and colleagues alike and take pride in fostering a positive, safe, and supportive environment where high standards of care are maintained.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, including holidays, weekends away, and board games—activities that are competitive but always filled with laughter.

One of my favourite quotes is “Everything happens for a reason.” I strongly believe that even one small interaction can change the course of someone’s entire day for the better. This belief is one of the many reasons I chose to work in Health & Social Care from the age of 18, and it continues to inspire me every day.
