Being the start of dad's care home life, I was concerned with regard how he would be treated. Had no need for concern, everyone from the management to the nurses, carers, cleaners and even maintenance men have been friendly and courteous to both dad and me. And if we've needed anything to be dealt with
there has been no delay. Lovely people doing a hard job, well done.

I recently gave Springfield Care home a very negative review concerning my aunt. Having visited today, I am really pleased to give a much more positive view. Today the home smelt clean and fresh. Staff on the wards were very nice with a "good morning" which never happened before. My aunt was up and
dressed which was never the case. There seems to be many more staff, all busy seeing to residents. She had a meal while we were there and very different from the poor quality that used to be served up, this was greatly improved food, looked very appetising and a good amount. So I would like to say thank you to all the staff and management. Such a real improvement. Please keep up the high standard you've achieved.

Overall good experience but not enough staff or carers. Most of the time found a shortage of staff. Overworking carers but whoever was on duty were very polite and courteous, helping and caring. Management seems to be working hard to provide good care. Management and assistant managers were very cooperative
and positive.

The service supplied by this care home was extremely poor. Safety is totally unacceptable, not very clean, people left in wheelchairs all day long. Carers take a lot to be desired, always absent from lounge where residents were left in wheelchairs. The staff have totally no compassion to family. I could
go on forever.
