Review from Paula M (Daughter of Resident) published on 21 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

My mother was placed in Tudor House on the 25th of June 26. From the day we viewed the home we felt a sense of peace. When the home assessed my mum who was there with me prior to admission we witnessed kindness, empathy, willingness to listen, compassion and they were treating my mum who lives with advanced dementia with dignity. The home is a wonderful place, all staff inc management have been amazing.

Very happy with the care my mother in law receives at Tudor Houe. The home caters for everyone in a tremendous way. My mother in law is now bedridden but still recieves 1 to 1 activities and stimulation in her room. The home has been refurbished and looks great! The food, carers & cleaning staff are all wonderful. Big thank you to management and nursing team, particularly clinical lead who is always available and ready to listen.

My cousin is well looked after by staff who are kind and caring. The home is kept clean and well maintained. I am impressed with the range of activities and also the outings - including a pub visit. My cousin very much appreciates the nursing staff who administer her medication effectively.

My dad has been a resident for 7 months. I have found the staff very caring and my dad is well cared for. They welcome my mother when she visits - this is important to us as my parents have been married for 66 years, and dad's move into care was a big decision. I am really impressed with the cleanliness at the home.

Review from W C (Grandson of Resident) published on 8 June 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

My grandmother moved into Tudor House after living with us. I was anxious about this for a while, however I had no need to worry, as this is such a special home. My grandmother has a beautiful bedroom which is filled with her favourite things, the residents are treated with love and kindness and are always shown the upmost respect. There is a beautiful garden, sensory room and large lounge which all the residents use. My grandmother has gained weight due to the wonderful food and varied menu, her pain and Parkinsons symptoms are under control as a result of an amazing clinical lead, detailed care plan, professional management and all round fantastic staff.

I have a background in adult social care so I was very worried when my mother needed a nursing home - not all care homes are good but I am delighted with Tudor House. The staff are so kind and caring to my mum. My mum is clean - eats very well and she is safe. I have not seen my mum look so well in years. She was lovely at home but she is not lonely anymore. I have not met a staff member who does not know her by name - all so kind - especially the clinical lead who is great.

Review from Bel S (Daughter of Resident) published on 17 April 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

A new chapter began. Mum has alzeimers, and her behaviour is changing, but mostly she is stable. Uprooting from a home she'd lived in for over 68 years, was going to be frightening. It took a few weeks, but I feel, due to the excellent care, from all the staff Mum has turned a corner. Always kind words, smiles and politeness. Mum's room is always, clean, bright, and homely, more so now, due to a few photos, paintings and ornaments. The food is 'amazing' mum eats well, sleeps well and is often found in the communal lounge, where coffee/tea and 'gorgeous' cakes, are served. Well done, Tudor House.

My father moved into Tudor House on 5th November 2025 from hospital. I was given a tour of home prior to my father moving in. My father has settled in well, he is always clean and groomed, his room is always clean and tidy. All staff are very caring, welcoming and very professional always keeping us updated. When he moved into the home, staff very interested in what he likes and dislikes to ensure he is comfortable, eating requirements. As only just moved in unable to comment on value for money.
