Our Mother has been a resident at Tudor House for two years now. The home is a wonderful setting, my Mother is very well cared for, and her room is decorated as she likes. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they always aim to please and go out of their way to help. The home is exceptionally clean and tidy, the food is excellent - there is always an opportunity for a variety of food. The deputy manager is outstanding as are the care staff and housekeeping/laundry. Very very happy.

My mother has advanced dementia and has been a resident at Tudor House for 3 months so far. The experience has been fantastic! The staff are superb and actually care for the residents. The food is good and the services are excellent.

The food is very bad. Some carers are very good and care a great deal for residents. However, 80 percent of carers do as little as possible and just want to do the work and go home. We, the residents, have to go to bed at 6 pm. The exceptions are two residents who refuse and have to go up at 7.15....

We, the residents, have to go to bed at 6 pm. The exceptions are two residents who refuse and have to go up at 7.15. Nobody is forced to go at 6 pm but they are all put under pressure to go. There are many examples of neglect I have video evidence of. It's all officially correct but residents are supposed to be treated with respect and dignity. They are not. I as a resident have been suppressed by management under the threat of sacking members of staff who have shown me kindness and dignity. I will write a full report when I am no longer here and cannot be blackmailed into remaining silent.
