Review from J C (Son-in-law of Resident) published on 11 November 2024 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

Very happy with the care my mother-in-law receives at Tudor House, the care staff go above and beyond. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The home is spotlessly clean and tidy. The food is catered for everyone, if the residents ask for different food they receive it, also if they ask for more they always get that too. The outside garden area is a lovely space to sit with loved ones and enjoy the fresh air and peaceful garden. We are extremely happy.

It's a pleasure looking after your mother-in-law, thanks for your lovely comments about the staff team and our garden, I'm really proud of how they are always ready to go the extra mile and it's great to have our families recognise that too.

My mother has advanced dementia and has been a resident at Tudor House for 3 months so far. The experience has been fantastic! The staff are superb and actually care for the residents. The food is good and the services are excellent.

Review from Andrew S (Resident / Service User) published on 24 August 2022 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

The food is very bad. Some carers are very good and care a great deal for residents. However, 80 percent of carers do as little as possible and just want to do the work and go home. We, the residents, have to go to bed at 6 pm. The exceptions are two residents who refuse and have to go up at 7.15. Nobody is forced to go at 6 pm but they are all put under pressure to go. There are many examples of neglect I have video evidence of. It's all officially correct but residents are supposed to be treated with respect and dignity. They are not. I as a resident have been suppressed by management under the threat of sacking members of staff who have shown me kindness and dignity. I will write a full report when I am no longer here and cannot be blackmailed into remaining silent.
