Tudor House is a purpose built privately owned residential nursing home in a quiet residential road, located in South Croydon close to local amenities, which include the famous Fairfield Halls, parks and shops and is one mile from the Whitgift Shopping Centre. The home is situated close to main bus routes, the Tramlink and is within one mile from both South & East Croydon Railway Stations.
Tudor House has an air of relaxed homeliness, comprises of an interesting variety of rooms and living areas.There are 37 beds, 31 single rooms, all with ensuite facilities. All bedrooms are tastefully and comfortably furnished with television, telephone points and 24 hour Nurse call system. Residents are encouraged to bring personal mementoes such as photographs or ornaments for their rooms.

Overall Experience 1.0 out of 5
The food is very bad. Some carers are very good and care a great deal for residents. However, 80 percent of carers do as little as possible and just want to do the work and go home. We, the residents, have to go to bed at 6 pm. The exceptions are two residents who refuse and have to go up at 7.15. Nobody
is forced to go at 6 pm but they are all put under pressure to go. There are many examples of neglect I have video evidence of. It's all officially correct but residents are supposed to be treated with respect and dignity. They are not. I as a resident have been suppressed by management under the threat of sacking members of staff who have shown me kindness and dignity. I will write a full report when I am no longer here and cannot be blackmailed into remaining silent.
