Funding & Fees
If your admission to the care home is assessed as requiring nursing care, you may be entitled to funding by the NHS. This is called NHS Funded Nursing Care Contribution (FNC) and is a contribution made by the NHS towards supporting the provision of registered nursing care to eligible care home residents. The payment is made directly by the NHS to the care home where the nursing care is being provided, and the Resident does not receive any money directly.
The Resident will, however, remain liable for the Total Fees if FNC funding is withdrawn or if the CCG defaults on payment.

Susan was happy & well looked after
The Room could have been better.
No shower or bath, no TV.
Very expensive, more than other local care homes.
Receptionist very welcoming on my arrival every time. Carers always acknowledge me. Brothers always clean & shaved and well cared for. Good nutritional food always served.
We're delighted to hear that you feel warmly welcomed each time you visit. Our reception team, carers and housekeeping staff all work hard to create an environment that feels respectful, attentive and caring for both residents and their...

Coloma Court is a caring care home that puts 'care' into its name. The staff look after all the resident's needs and provides a relaxed environment however demanding and complex are the needs of a resident. my mum has been very happy for the three and a half years that she has lived here. I could not ask anymore from the staff and management.
Thank you so much for your lovely review.
Your words truly mean a great deal to us. At Coloma Court, we are incredibly proud of our team and the way they live out the meaning of "care" every single day. Supporting residents with compassion, patience and dignity - no matter how complex...
Rosina was admitted about ten days ago and had had some bad experience in hospital with a broken hip and Alzheimer's. She has been really well looked after and has begun to her usual happy self, which is a result of good and friendly help by all concerned. Many thanks.
We know how distressing a hospital admission and recovery from a broken hip can be, particularly for someone living with Alzheimer's, and we are truly grateful that you trusted Coloma Court to support...
Her room is also beautiful and she does activities when she is well enough .
Thank you, for your kind review your grandmother had a lovely day receiving the Kings letter, it was also nice to see family and friend's who had traveled far and wide to make the day special for her, it was memorable day for all involved in the preparation and all who attend, once again thank you for the review.
My mum had a sudden decline in November 2024 and went to hospital, she was unable to recover to be well enough to go home. She is currently in respite care at Coloma Court. They have been so welcoming to her, they really made her feel settled and at home and put our minds at rest. My mum is beautifully tended to; she is clean and well dressed, her skin is creamed and looked after, she is loving the food and activities and they try their best to encourage her (no easy task) to join in everything she can. Thank you for your care and love for mum.
I have no hesitation in recommending Coloma Court.
Overall we are pleased with care my mother received over the past few weeks, however we provided complan because she eats so little. Normally she would go through one box a week, she went through one box in 3 weeks despite frequent requests to give the complan. All staff were very friendly and caring towards my mother.
Mum has been at Coloma Court for near a year. We have been very happy with her care. The staff are excellent and attend to mum's needs with care and understanding. Mum is always clean and smells good as is her room and bathroom. I would recommend Coloma Court to without any hesitation.
Coloma Court is a safe and welcoming space for mum. Staff are caring and professional. I can visit at any time, no appointment needed which gives me confidence that mum is being cared for at all times. She can be a handful but staff soon got to know her ways and carry out all aspects of her care with efficiency and professionalism. Thank you Coloma.
We both found the staff very friendly and helpful. My dad said he enjoyed the stay but he felt the food was not exciting but just acceptable and there was not enough choice on some occasions. The only extra improvement would be for quick staff responsiveness when needing the toilet. He would use the home again if needed.
I was very concerned how my friend would accept residential care. I am very pleased with the care and attention that the staff provide to their residents. They understand the problems and do everything to help people adjust. More to the point they also understand how this affects spouses, family and friends. I cannot fault their efforts and level of care provided. The rooms are kept clean and tidy and there is always enough staff on hand to provide more personal attention when required. The atmosphere is loving and positive with the residents treated with care and dignity.
Thank you for your review, I am glad you are able to visit the home and continue to maintain a long-standing friendship, the review will be shared with staff on the unit.
My Mum has lived here for 2 years. I couldn’t ask for better care. All the staff are very attentive, very kind, and put my mum’s best interests first. She is very frail with many medical needs but always looks immaculately clean and comfortable. The rooms and building are spotlessly clean, and Mum has a lovely rural view from her large window. Whenever I have spoken to reception, care staff, or administration I have always found them to be very helpful, understanding, and courteous. This is a lovely care home.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience at Coloma Court Care Home we set a high standard for ourselves, so we are very pleased to hear that your experience with us has been a positive one.
My husband has been a resident here for 1 year and 4 weeks and in that time he has improved mentally and can converse logically although he was very confused on admission. All his needs are met by the staff and they have infinite patience. The food is excellent and the staff are endlessly patient and kind.
Thank you very much for your review, I am so glad there has been an improvement in your husband's well-being, your review will be shared with the team at St Anne's.
Mum is content and very well looked after. The staff are caring and supportive and always cheerful. The overall atmosphere is positive with residents treated as individuals with their separate needs, likes, and dislikes.
Thank you for your review, we appreciate all feedback and it will be shared with all the staff at Coloma Court.
This is an excellent care home. My dad lived here for 15 months until the end of his life, we could not have asked for better care. All the staff are attentive, friendly and kind, and really put residents’ best interests at the centre of their work. Staff retention is very good, so my Dad got to know the carers looking after him, which is so important. He was frail with many medical needs, but always immaculately clean and comfortable. End-of-life care for him was exemplary, we are so grateful. The home is very well run, and management organise regular relatives meetings. For residents who wish to take part, there are varied activities and entertainment. The rooms and building are large, light and airy in an attractive semi-rural setting.
Thank you very much for your comments, we aim to ensure our service is of a high standard and suitable for all who live at Coloma Court, whilst ensuring each resident is treated as an individual, I am very pleased you were happy with the care and treatment provided for your father.
The care of my friend was fantastic, really happy with the care. Would happily recommend the service, venue and staff.
Thank you for your review, we are pleased you and your loved one are happy at Coloma Court.
My father's needs are well provided for and the staff are always available to help and offer advice to me when I need it.
Thank you for your kind review, I am glad we can meet your Father's needs at the care home.
My mum became a resident at Coloma Court for a very short time only. All I can say is that I truly wish I had taken steps to move her there long before I did. As soon as she was settled she became at peace and sadly died 2 days later. The staff were exemplary and treated her with so much care and compassion. I truly recommend Coloma to everyone.
Thank you very much for your kind review, it was a pleasure to care for your mother, even though it was only a short time, and may she rest in peace.
