Thank you for your lovely feedback and lovely review of the home. I will share this with all the team.
I can not fault the care and attention the staff give to my mother-in-law from the chef who provides excellent food in a way which is easy to consume to all the carers who just show so much love and attention.
This weekend the home put on a Christmas fair which was a great event and the home is decorated in readiness for the Christmas festivities.
Well done to you all and keep up the great work, have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. I will share these with the staff. Thank you for being part of the Milton Ernest Hall family.
The hall itself is full of history and is a wonderful old manor house with the most amazing gardens - these have been the centre of some very enjoyable events.
Management is involved with everything and joins in with events and activities. They are extremely easy to communicate with and will often check on residents' families to see how they are doing too.
Milton Ernest Hall Care Home definitely gets my recommendation.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. It means so much that you and your mother are happy at the home, and I will ensure your comments are passed on to the team.
My father has been at Milton Ernest Hall Care Home since February 2023. The level of care he has received has been outstanding. Every single member of staff is friendly, caring and compassionate. Management is easy to approach and communication is second to none. I would highly recommend Milton Ernest Hall.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and kind words. It was a pleasure to have you, your father and all the family as part of our Milton Ernest Hall family.
I did not expect the level of care that I received. I came here to recover from an operation and thought I was just having a room with knowledgeable people nearby if I needed them. Instead, I was cared for in the most wonderful way from the start to the end of my visit. I can't thank them enough for their kindness.
Thank you for your kind words. We are so happy that we were able to be part of your recovery journey.
I find Milton Ernest very friendly. Good communication for the family. Lovely environment for my mother to be in. The activities team work hard to include everyone. Cannot fault the care that all staff bring. They have supported my mother and myself very well.
Thank you for your kind words, I will share these with the staff. Thank you for being part of the Milton Ernest Hall family.
Great stuff, lots of activities/stimulation. Good food, lovely room.
My mum has settled in very well here and is happy and content. The staff are very kind and truly care about the residents. The management team are very approachable, supportive and flexible. It is a really beautiful home with extensive grounds and the activities team organise great events for residents and their families and friends plus a weekly schedule for the residents including singers etc. They now have two staff qualified to drive the minibus, so hopefully, there will be trips out as well for the residents.
The facilities and activities are above and beyond and I could not wish for him to be anywhere better.
It has a feeling of a 5-star hotel rather than a care home. I could never speak more highly of the staff.
Thank you Milton Ernest Hall. You are the best there is!
Thank you so much for your kind words and for being part of our Milton Ernest Hall family.
My dad has been a resident since February 2022. In this time his health has improved considerably due to the wonderful care and a good diet as he enjoys the food on offer. He loves sitting in the beautiful garden and watching the birds and the wildlife. The staff are all amazing and I would recommend Milton Ernest Care Home to anyone.

I was in Milton Ernest Hall Care Home for six weeks of respite care from 26.08.22 - 07.10.22 following three weeks in hospital after a bad car crash. Thanks to the care I received from the kind and considerate staff, I have recovered well. I was made very comfortable in a spacious ensuite room and enjoyed sitting in the library and sitting room of this beautiful old house. I was lucky that the weather allowed me to enjoy the lovely garden.
Thank you for your kind words. We are so pleased we were able to help with your recovery and glad that you are doing well.
My dad spent just over 2 years at Milton Ernest Hall. Unfortunately COVID 'happened' and we were unable to visit him properly during this time. Prior to COVID we always found the staff friendly, caring, polite and attentive. During Dad's final weeks he was well looked after and made comfortable. We were also able to be with him when he passed away.
I am happy with my visiting arrangements during the pandemic time. Staff do a great job with coordinating safe visits to see my wife. Highly recommend and many thanks to the visit coordinators who provide such professional services and flexible visit arrangements. Very helpful.
Thank you so much for the lovely review, we are very pleased that your visiting arrangements have been good.

Thank you for your review and for your kind words; it is a pleasure to care for your father. We are so glad that your Dad feels well cared for.
My dad has been a resident since 23rd August. In that time he has had wonderful care from all the staff. His room is always tidy and clean. The staff are very friendly and always willing to talk to me and my sister when we visit, making us aware of my dad's condition and the treatment given.

Meet the Team (3)

Hello! I’m Vicky, Registered Manager at Milton Ernest Hall.
I started at Milton Ernest Hall in October 2012, and I haven’t looked back since! I started my journey as a Healthcare Assistant and have been given opportunities to work my way up in various job roles. Since being appointed Deputy Manager in September 2022, I have now gone on to become the General Manager of Milton Ernest Hall in January 2024, I am committed to ensuring Milton is a loving and supportive environment for both residents and the team. I strive to create a home where everyone feels valued, cared for and happy.
I love working within the care sector because every day is entirely different and yet every day you know you are making a difference to someone’s life. I love to see the residents and team smiling, laughing and enjoying life, it inspires and motivates me to continue doing the best I can to ensure everyone is happy and living their life, the way they want to! I am lucky to work alongside a great team of dedicated, caring people who go above and beyond every day.
Every day is different, but every day is also always full of happiness, laughter and love. We are a family and that is the reason why I have been here for so long. My favourite part of the day is the morning, I love mornings! I always go around the home to say “Good Morning” and have a little chat with each person to make sure everyone starts their day in the best possible way, with a smile.
Milton Ernest is a home-from-home, and you will always be welcomed with open arms and a delightful smile.
Please do feel free to phone Milton Ernest Hall to chat with me or a member of the team to support you on your journey to finding you or your loved ones home from home.

Hello, I’m Kelly. I am now the Dementia Coordinator at Milton Ernest Hall Care Home, Bedford.
From being at school, I always knew I wanted to be a part of the Care Sector and in February 2020 I found exactly where I wanted to be, Milton Ernest Hall.
When I first joined Milton Ernest Hall as a Healthcare Assistant, I found myself building great relationships with all the residents but more so with those in our wonderful Memory Care Community. I have a passion for dementia care and felt deep connections with those in our Memory Care Community as well as their loved ones, which has led me to become the Dementia Coordinator at Milton Ernest Hall.
My journey with Majesticare so far has been incredible. In 2022 I was lucky to win Majesticare’s Cosmic Care Award at their annual Majesticare Star Awards, which I was then nominated for the Great British Care Awards and The Stars of Social Care Awards (Hosted by Josie Gibson) which I became a finalist for in both awards. I then went on to win (2 years in a row) the Cosmic Care Award at Majesticare’s Star Awards in 2023!
Milton Ernest Hall and Majesticare are my family, and this is where I feel I belong.
If you are visiting the home, please do come and say hello.

Hello, I am Regina, a Senior Nurse at our home, Milton Ernest Hall.
I have been a part of the Milton Ernest Hall Family for a total of 11 years. I first joined Milton Ernest Hall in 2009, I left in 2012 but soon returned in 2015. I came back to Milton Ernest Hall because this is the only place that feels like home, since then I have never looked back.
Being able to take care of wonderful residents, and having the opportunity to get them back to good health gives me great joy and job satisfaction.
My infectious smile comes from my work and it radiates through my team and residents. We have a wonderful team at Milton Ernest Hall, that takes pride in ensuring our residents are provided with the best person-centred care.
