Staff are kind, compassionate, friendly and dedicated to their residents and their relatives.
My friend was living at the home for 6 days for end of life care. The staff were amazing, they were professional and kind to her and myself and nothing was too much trouble. My friend only ate for a few days but she told me the food was lovely.
Food is pleasant home cooked and flexible.
I have been treated with kindness and patience y all.
From the time of making the initial enquiry to the present day nothing has been a problem for the staff looking after my wife.
I made the enquiry on the Monday morning and by the same afternoon someone come to visit my wife in the rehabilitation centre. My daughter and I visited the home on the Tuesday and straight away felt this was the place for my wife to stay.
She moved in the following week and everything was seamless, even so that I discovered a few weeks later after speaking to the Home manager that she had only been in position a few days before my wife arrived.
The food is all freshly cooked and the kitchen staff will always offer something off the menu if it does not appeal.
It is unfortunate my wife has ended up here, but I would not have any hesitation on recommending this care home.
We were so fortunate to find this home to look after our loved one. The care was very good and the staff looked after every aspect of the care, with dedication and to a very high standard. We do not hesitate in recommending the home and the care received at Park House.
Thank you for those kind sentiments. We are always here, for those who live with us and their families. It was an honour.
Big thank you from our family.
A big "thank you" to you for your lovely sentiments and for your appreciation for what we do. We loved looking after your mother, who made some friends while she was with us - both among the staff and residents. We hope to see her again.
The staff were always welcoming and friendly and invited me to lunch whenever I was there. I was never in doubt that Dad was being cared for well.
Thank you for your review and sentiments. Dad was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word and will always be remembered by all here with fond thoughts and memories.
During my father's stay in the care home. All of the staff were very caring and considerate, ensuring that my father was very well looked after. He often commented on how good the food was and the choice and was extremely appreciating of the care and kindness shown to him. We particularly enjoyed the summer garden party, the live singer, it was evident that the residents were well looked after and had an enjoyable time.
Thank you for those kind words. We are pleased to hear he enjoyed his food, often the highlight of the day, and that he was well looked after. We miss his keen sense of humour and his banter and observations. The staff were very fond of him.
Management was very supportive in assessing needs, arriving at a mutually agreeable financial solution and making the move as painless as possible.
All staff we met were professional, friendly and supportive.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and I am so pleased we were able to help, albeit for a short while. As a 'family' we always strive to place the person and thier family first and foremost in our care. Your words mean a lot to all of us here.
Warm, welcoming family atmosphere. All staff treated Mum with respect and genuinely cared. We as a family were always made to feel welcome. The food was amazing and the staff went out of their way. Mum spent only a month at Park House for her end-of-life care but was treated with dignity. Thank you.
Thank you for those kind compliments. No matter how long someone may be with us, they and their family become part of our big family. To care for Mum, even for that short time was a privilege; thank you for trusting us with such a precious and important person.
The room was clean and well-fitted. The care was excellent.
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to complete a review of the care your relative received (albeit for a brief period) whilst at Park House. We are delighted to learn that your experience was positive, that you felt that the care was "excellent", and that you were also made to feel at home....
Her nursing requirements were complex. The nursing team tended to her with professionalism and kindness.
The care staff were also kind, friendly, and polite and respectful to her.
The home is well managed i.e. clean and the rooms are well appointed. It is in a quiet, peaceful location.
You are welcome to visit and spend time with your relation.
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to complete a review for Park House. It is very much appreciated. We are pleased to see that you commented on the "professionalism and kindness" of the nursing staff, as well as the care staff who you wrote were " kind, friendly, polite and respectful". We...
Our cousin was admitted for a short while in Park House and received excellent care. The care home manager couldn’t be more helpful and we thank her and all the staff for the care they gave her before she passed.
Thank you for those kind words; even though it was for a short while, it was an honour to know her and yourselves. Thank you.
Facilities good, rooms clean and functional. Very caring during the last few days of Dad's life.
We'd like to thank you for taking the time to write a review on carehome.co.uk. It is so helpful when people learn of others' experiences when deciding where to place a loved one who needs permanent care. Your comments are very much appreciated and you have summed up what we are about "friendly...
Food good and plentiful. Problem with the room to start but quickly fixed by maintenance. Lovely atrium open-air space.
Flowers were looked after and gardens. Overall my few days were good ones.
We are very pleased to receive your feedback and to hear that you enjoyed your brief stay at Park House while you were recovering from your procedure. We very much enjoyed having your company and are pleased to know that you found the environment attractive and that your experience was positive. We wish you a good continued recovery.
I had an operation June 23rd 2023, in hospital for five weeks. On discharge, I sought respite/recuperation time before going back home. Park House Care Home provided me with nursing care. Excellent surroundings and good choice of foods etc.
Thank you for those words of support. We are so pleased we were there for you when you needed the support to facilitate you returning home. You are welcome to visit, anytime.
Outstanding in every way and cannot recommend Park House Care Home enough. The care was carried out with such respect and everybody including the cleaning staff, kitchen staff treated Mum extra special. Also as a family, we couldn't have been looked after any better and everybody went above and beyond to take care of us too. Mum wasn't there very long but it gave us peace of mind that even though we weren't with her she was being well taken care of. Cannot thank Park House enough.
Thank you so much for those kind words; we endeavour to care for others like 'family' and support all those whom we come into contact with. Thank you.
I found the staff to be very professional welcoming and caring. I was not there at meal times but my friend said she was very happy with the choices offered and she had nothing but praise for the care given by the service providers. The staff were very attentive and kept her comfortable at all times.
Thank you for those kind words; your friend has been with us now for a few years and is an integral part of our family. You are more than welcome to come and have lunch with your friend when you visit, just let us know so we can inform the kitchen staff.
My uncle seemed content in this home, although he seemed a little isolated. Not sure how often he joined in the activities, whether due to the problems hoisting him into a chair or his disinterest in going. He liked seeing what was happening and with his back to the door, he only heard movement. The carers seemed kind and patient with my stubborn uncle, especially over his refusal to eat. One disappointing thing, I asked if they wanted me to donate my uncle's clothes to charity. I was told they would do this, they put the things in a skip.
Thank you for your comments, your uncle was a man who had stories to tell and could entertain for hours. We all came to enjoy the company of a gentleman who brushed shoulders with the elite. I can only apologise for the confusion with his clothing; we will endeavour to ensure this does not happen in future.
Overall care and support given are very good. Plenty of activities for residents. We arrived for our visit and the door code had been changed but we had received no communication os this.
Thank you for your review and we hope to continue to give good care. I can only apologise for the door code; due to circumstances there was a necessity to change the code and lock, unfortunately, this was not passed on. We will take this on board for any future change.
