I chose this home for my mother who has Alzheimer's and a severe tremor. After visiting many places I chose Tithe Farm because of a few reasons.
The manageress was passionate about her residents as were her staff who continue to be, attentive, caring, compassionate and most of all friendly.
So far
my mother has seamlessly gone from home care to being cared for to the highest quality in this nursing home.
All aspects of care are catered for in a well kept, clean and pleasant environment. Ask the manager and her staff for anything and they will try to help immediately.
The home is of the highest standard I have seen, having visited numerous other homes in the surrounding area.
I cannot speak highly enough about Tithe Farm. It is a perfect place to receive care for your loved ones.

The team at this nursing home has been absolutely wonderful in caring for my mum. The staff are very patient, and genuinely dedicated to her wellbeing. My mum received the best care from very dedicated staff whilst at Leighton Forest. The staff were especially supportive and went the extra mile when she sadly passed away recently. We shall be eternally grateful that Mum got to spend her last months here.

My mother has received outstanding care at Village Green Care Home. Living with dementia and having complex nursing needs - we were worried when she first arrived. The nursing team have been exceptional; they treated her with skill, dignity, and patience, and thanks to their dedication her condition
improved.
The carers truly understand her as a person. They support her with kindness, calmness, and respect, always taking time to comfort and reassure her. The activities team keep residents engaged with meaningful daily sessions, and my mother especially enjoys the local day trips, which give her a sense of normality and joy.
Management have also been excellent - approachable, supportive, and genuinely committed to ensuring high-quality care. They communicate well with families and always listen.
We are deeply grateful for the compassion shown by every member of staff. Village Green has given my mother safety and dignity, and that means everything to us. I would highly recommend.

Please improve your catering both vegitarian and 'normal' menu - both are not good enough even inedible when good food is essential for the residents' well-being! Better chefs should be employed! Wonderful garden! Please improve lifts - better maintenance required as constant breakdowns are unacceptable.

My father was treated with empathy and dignity at Greathed Manor. He was well cared for and his needs were always catered for. He was treated with respect by the staff. He felt safe at Greathed. When he moved the staff helped me to make it as seamless as possible to make sure my father wasn't distressed.

I came into Taymer at my children's request mainly my daughters as she felt I needed building up as in her words I was 'skin and bones'. My balance was not good and I could be described as vulnerable. When I came into Taymer I literally needed help to get myself out of the chair but the varied and quality
weak seem to have improved my balance and general well being. This aspect has been remarked on by a number of people and I have put on almost 3 kilos in weight. I am doing physio exercises and using a very solid pedalling machine daily. The whole experience over 7 weeks has been favourable.

My mother has been at Taymer for 8 weeks. She was admitted after a hospital stay for rehab care. Although it was a very small room, it was comfortable and had everything she needed for a relativity short time. The rehab she was given was very good and was seen on a daily basis, helping her to get back
on her feet, and get her confidence back. I was always welcomed by all the staff, giving a caring and homely feel. After visiting nearly every day for 8 weeks I saw that all the residents were cared for with patience and love, including my mother, who has become close to alot of the staff caring for her.
I would definitely recommend this care home, for around care.

My dad Liberato was put here for rest bite, he needs 24hr nursing care. We find management, owner very very pleasent to deal with they made us very welcome. Mum stayed here for 2 weeks respite in August. She suffers from Alzheimers so was a bit confused to start with but the staff were compassionate, efficient and super friendly; she soon settled down. The grounds are beautiful and I know she appreciated being able to wander outside fairly independently.
Such a stunning location and building; her memory of being there is that she was in a hotel! She had a good sized room on the top floor and liked to sit and watch the deer and wildlife in the fields beyond. Would definitely recommend.
