My Mum has been a resident here for 7 months. We were so lucky to find this care home. It meant we could leave Mum in their care without worrying about her. All of the staff are amazing, they always have a smile and words of encouragement and are very attentive and patient with her. Mum is happy here.
She gets lots of care and attention from everyone. The staff always inform me of how her day has been and any issues. Any medical issues are dealt with quickly either by the nursing staff or GP. I am really grateful to all of the staff for the care they give to Mum and also for the peace of mind for me.
The care home itself is very clean and bright. The garden is a lovely part of the home too for residents and visitors.

My Dad moved into Meppershall in March 2025 and from the moment we walked in we were greeted by warm professional staff who made Dad feel at home. His room was bright clean and well furnished.Over the next five months Dad was enjoying wonderful days out and by now had made good friends with the carers
that cared for him on a daily basis. Meppershall kept us well informed at all times.The love and respect for Dad was incredible and we can not thank this wonderful care home enough.

Dad has settled in so well at Tithe Farm, he was struggling at home and we've finally found a place that we all like, including him. he can be a hard work getting up in the mornings but the staff at Tithe Farm manage him so so well. he always looks clean, shaved and in clean clothes. he enjoys the food
and eats well, which he didn't when living at home. I am just so pleased that we can relax now knowing dad is being well looked after and more importantly Dad is happy.
ALL the staff are wonderful. I am always greeted with warm smiles. Tracy on reception is always welcoming and chatty which is wonderful.

I have been in a good many nursing homes over the years, but I find Hill Top Lodge the best one that I have ever been in. The staff are all lovely. They are very good and helpful in anything they do, looking after all the residents. There are plenty of activities they do with the residents every day.
My sister loves it here, and she is certainly looked after well by all the staff. Even the staff on the reception desk are lovely, welcoming you into the building with a lovely smile and greeting on every visit. This home and staff are wonderful.

On behalf of my mother,
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone at Taymer Care Home in Silsoe for the outstanding care given to my 92-year-old mother during her recent four-week stay.
Following three weeks in hospital recovering from a broken hip and surgery, Mum needed focused rehabilitation-and
Taymer delivered that and so much more.
In Mum's own words:
"The attitude of the staff was exceptional-nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, the meals were delicious with fresh vegetables. It was perfect. I couldn't fault it."
Most importantly, the incredible team at Taymer helped get Mum back on her feet, enabling her to return home safely and continue her recovery with confidence.
We are so grateful to the management and every single member of staff for their professionalism, kindness, and unwavering support.

My husband spent 3 weeks respite care at Rosalyn House.
I can only say how pleased my husband and I were with everything.
The room was clean, with your own bathroom with shower.
All of the staff were so good! My husband was treated with respect and the carers were excellent in every way.
The office
staff were always there to help with any queries etc. As were the staff dealing with the medication.
The food was very good, always offers of more if you wanted. Also snacks provided. Plenty of activities if you wanted to join in.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Rosalyn House.

Having to put our loved one into a care home was very sad for our family, we were anxious having never being in this position before but the team at Rosalyn House have done everything in their power to reassure us, answer all our questions and most importantly our loved one was made to feel like a person,
their choices listened to and acted upon in a safe clean welcoming environment.


The staff are so friendly and deal with every emotion that our loved one is feeling and even took them on a few trips out of the home with their carer. They have entertainment, daily activities and communication with the family is timely and factual.


The residents room has an en-suite, well decorated.


We can't thank Rosalyn House enough for making this transition as easy as possible for all the family but especially for our family member.


For those who are sceptical about care homes, go and meet the team at Rosalyn House, take all your questions and they will answer them.

My mother was transferred from Hospital to the Taymer for respite care. My mother and our family found the staff so caring and were always willing to try to accommodate any requests they were given. The food was excellent, and my mother still refers to the home cooked food as delicious! The Taymer holds
many different events for the residents always trying to keep everyone's stay there as pleasant as possible. The staff were encouraging and complimentary when my mother was trying to become more agile. We as a family were so glad our mother was placed in the Taymer Nursing home as we felt she was safe and cared for during her stay. We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff and in particularly one member of staff, who always went the extra mile to ensure our mothers stay was the best it could be.

Hilltop Lodge is a great care home. The staff are great they understand every residents needs including my grandmother. They go above and beyond for my grandmother she could not be happier than she is here. The care home is 10/10 clean & friendly. They engage well with all residents and I genuinely

During the month spent at Taymer Nursing Home I was always treated with the upmost kindness and respect by all members of staff. I cannot rate this home highly enough. My dad has been in here twice once was a pure stroke of luck that he got sent to this home for respite care and the 2nd time the manager went above and beyond to enable him to come back again for respite care. The home and stafff were absolutely amazing so welcoming
. The manager's knowledge is absolutely amazing on all aspects of care and the help she has given me even after my dad went back home is just beyond her role. I can honestly say without her I wouldn't have known where to start . Thank you to everyone who helped my dad enjoy his stay with you . Thanks
