Village Green Care Home

We as a family are so pleased with the care and support Ian has been given and the progress he has made in such a short time is remarkable.

I am really impressed with this facility. Patients room and bedding etc. are kept very clean as is the whole area. Staff are incredibly friendly and caring. I thoroughly recommend this care home. Well done to all the staff.

Initially mum moved into Village Green for respite care. After several weeks there, she decided to become a permanent resident. I cannot praise the staff more highly. Every member of the team from the management, nursing staff, carers. cleaners, caterers and even the handyman are amazing individuals and are a fantastic team. Mum loved it there and it made the last months of her life very happy ones, joining in all the activities that were available: art, games, performances, trips out and much more. The residents were treated with the upmost respect and my overriding impression was that it was their home and everyone there were part of the family. Unfortunately mum was taken ill suddenly and spent her last couple of days in the home, where she was cared for with dedication and much love. I cannot praise the team highly enough for the care and respect they showed in her final hours, both to her and our family.

The care my mother received in the home from the day she arrived to the day she passed was exceptional. Every member of staff from cleaners to management were always kind, helpful and treated Mum with respect. Whenever I visited I too was welcomed, everyone always had a smile and a hello for me. When Mum was at End of life care, the staff not only cared for Mum but cared for my sister and I. I am so very grateful to Village Green Care Home. Thankyou.

Everyone so friendly and caring Very helpful. All staff just like one big family. Atmosphere calming and a happy place! Always something going on for residents. Very clean.

Everyone is so lovely and friendly in Village Green. The family fun day was amazing and such a good day. They look after everyone so well and it's so welcoming and calm! Best care home ever!!

I don't know what I would have done without Village Green. They take such good care of my husband. I can't speak highly enough.

I moved my brother to Village Green in April after he had been in another care home for 3.5 years. I had become increasig concerned about his well-being in the previous home but was reluctant to move him in case his mental health declined. I should have done it much, much sooner. Initially he went to Village Green on a 4 week respite basis but thankfully he has now become permanent. From the start of his move, Pawel and his amazing staff have been so supportive to both my brother and myself. I used to dread going to see him in the old home as I never knew what state he would be in but now I can visit without worry. I cannot thank everyone at Village Green enough - they are all kind, caring, supportive and compassionate. The whole team are welcoming - the management team, office staff, carers, cleaners, maintentance and catering. Their communication is excellent so I am always kept informed of any problems that occur. A shining example of how to do dementia care.

Overall excellent experience really. Want to settle us all into the situation. My father has one to one care everyone shows empathy and carers.

My daughter's and myself came to view Village Green on 30th March 2026 due to my husband being discharged from hospital. When we first came through the doors we were made to feel welcomed. The staff are really remarkable so friendly, caring and nothing is too much. We decided there and them this is where we wanted him to be.

Choosing a care home for a loved on is never easy, and I feel incredibly grateful to have found Village Green. From the beginning it has been a place of warmth, kindness and genuine care. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our loved one is being looked after.

We moved Mum to Village Green after some issues at her previous care homes and honestly, we are so glad that we did. The level of care Mum receives here is second to none. There is a real sense of a personal touch and we have made some great friends here. I truly feel like Pawel and his team have become part of our own family.

Very happy with our first 4 weeks. Staff very concerning and treat everyone with care and compassion. Could not be more helpfull and ready to deal with any problems which may accure. Everyone including cleaner to manager alway speak.

The staff looked after very well, very helpfull, pleasent, I was treated like a person and not just a number, I enjoyed my stay here, and got very well with everyone, I will come and visit. Thank you to the manager and staff and wish you well for the future.

We have no issues with the care that we have been getting from the home. The staff and managerment have been first class, showing compasion, empathy and a level of care, we have no recieved in the past from other residential homes. Nothing is too much trouble and there is always staff to address questions and medical queries. We are truely impressed with the whole set up at Village Green and would have recommended to others.

Although only at the home for a short while, he was very happy and would not change anything.

I came to Village Green for recovery after leg surgery. I was not even aware of the facility. I cannot speak highly enough of service stagging care and kindness everybody is so helpful my family have been welcomed. So well and asked to stay to lunch and for tea. The generosity and care have no bounds thank you.

Lovely people and facility. I cannot fault anything. I'll be forever grateful.
