Village Green is a true community care home that has provided specialist Residential, Nursing and Dementia care in Marston Moretaine and the surrounding villages for many years.

The team aims to create a wonderful home for residents by combining traditional family values with modern care practices.

The home has undergone an extensive refurbishment programme with the communal spaces and bedrooms having been upgraded to improve the lifestyle and environment for the residents.

Our family cannot thank the manager and his team for all the care and advice they have given our mother and us.
This is our first experience of a care home and right from the moment we walked through the door we were warmly welcomed and looked after.
Village Green have such an amazing team who are
kind, caring and respectful to everyone. We will always remember Mum's short but happy stay at Village Green.

Dad was made to feel very welcome from the moment he arrived at Village Green, transferred from his hospital bed. The care staff were very attentive to his care needs and he soon developed a good rapport and very soon he was able to relax and trust them to keep him safe. The care home manager made sure
I was updated regularly on Dad and was extremely helpful when the time came for Dad to leave, even making sure he was ok after he had left.

Mum had lived at Village Green for nearly three years when she sadly passed away. Throughout her time there, she was very well cared for. We always felt she was treated as an individual and that the staff spent the time to get to know her. As a family, we were readily welcomed and enjoyed the many activities
alongside Mum frequently. The food was excellent, the management readily available when requested and care staff compassionate and supportive.

From the first contact made with Village Green Care Home, I was greeted with compassion and professionalism. From the moment I entered Village Green Care Home, I was impressed with the ambience and welcome of the manager and senior staff. It was peaceful, quiet and homely and Mum settled in very quickly to her new surroundings.
From the beginning of her stay she was treated with dignity and respect and her
every need was catered for by the friendly, caring care assistants.
During her stay she had put on weight and helped by the provision of a soft, normal diet, as prepared by the accommodating chef, at my request. I cannot recommend this home enough.
Mum was sad to leave.

My partner sadly passed away on 30th November 2023.
The care throughout his stay for over a year has been excellent, the care he received during the end-of-life period was second to none.
All staff showed the upmost support and kindness to us both, which made an unbearable time so much easier.

Since Dad has been in Village Green he has been treated with respect and decency. The staff genuinely care for their residents. Dad can be very awkward with food so they asked what he wanted then ordered it in to make sure he is eating. All staff get to know their residents and make them feel happy
and comfortable. I couldn't recommend this care home any higher and think the staff are absolutely incredible!

Always found the staff very pleasant and friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy and while visiting Mum the staff regularly checked on her to make sure she was comfortable. The nurses were always available within a short space of time and the management contacted me to discuss things relating to my Mum
and in turn, they were available to answer any questions that I had. I did try to visit early evening after work but it was comforting to know that I could visit a little bit later if I had any delays without any pressure,

I cannot praise or thank Village Green Care Home enough. After my brother's wife died his dementia escalated quite rapidly. It became clear he could no longer live at home but his dementia made him fearful of moving, of losing contact with familiar faces and places, of not being in a home he knew and
felt safe in. Finding Village Green was a gift. The staff understood his fears and anxieties and through patience, kindness, friendliness and above all a professional attitude he is now recognising Village Green as a place to call home. A place of emotional safety. Thanks to all the staff.

My mum spent nearly nine weeks at Village Green following a hospital stay, but due to the home’s location, she had to be moved.
During her stay, she was happy and very well looked after.
The staff are all so friendly, caring and always willing to help. It is a lovely welcoming care home and the manager
is excellent, always prompt to reply to emails or any concerns.
There are regular activities to engage residents and even singers performing sometimes. The home is always well-cleaned.
I would definitely recommend this well-run care home for its outstanding care provided.

My Dad, who has Parkinson’s was admitted into the care home to assess his needs whilst waiting for continuous care. From day one our experience has been excellent. The staff have all been so kind and professional, the standards of cleanliness and hygiene also excellent. The food has been excellent too.
We as a family are happy to recommend Village Green care home to anyone who has a vulnerable elderly relative. Well done to the manager and all the staff members.

Mum came to Village Green Care Home in January 2023 and she has settled in well. She looks so much better after being well cared for. She takes part in the activities that are organised most days. She enjoys the food on offer. Her room is clean and tidy. Staff always friendly and helpful. I have full

My sister-in-law has been with Village Green Care Home since her discharge from hospital. The care home residents and staff are very pleasant and caring.
The staff are so very lovely and always smiling and happy. They look after my sister-in-law extremely well and she wants for nothing. Her room is
very comfortable, warm and safe and she is always invited to attend any events that take place.

Very happy with the care my mum receives, the staff are very friendly and very helpful and also very patient. It's a shame my mum may not be able to stay at the Village Green Care Home, due to financial reasons, as I know she would have been well looked after.

I have regular contact and updates with the care home manager.
The staff recognise and meet the needs of my aunt and ensure she is treated with dignity and kindness.
They ensure her personal hygiene is maintained and that her dietary needs are met. The care home always makes me aware of any problems
or concerns relating to my aunt so we can talk them through and agree on what needs to be done.
