Village Green is a true community care home that has provided specialist Residential, Nursing and Dementia care in Marston Moretaine and the surrounding villages for many years.

The team aims to create a wonderful home for residents by combining traditional family values with modern care practices.

The home has undergone an extensive refurbishment programme with the communal spaces and bedrooms having been upgraded to improve the lifestyle and environment for the residents.

The home benefits from a team of skilled Nurses and Carers, and also a team of Chefs and Activity Co-ordinators who like to engage with the residents to ensure that they get their favourite meals and continue to do the activities they enjoy most.

My mum spent the last weeks of her life at Village Green Care Home. She was comfortable and cared for. The staff are warm, conscientious and considerate. The management are personal and authentic, taking time and care to communicate everything clearly. They ensure that each resident has everything they
need and that the families take part in all decisions.
After Mum passed away, they continued in their caring dialogue with the family. The manager came to the funeral. He is a good man.

I found my time here very pleasant, and the staff very helpful, caring and understanding. I found the nurses particularly helpful and explained all my medications in a very understanding way. The carers went over the top of their care to make sure my stay here was a pleasant one. I also found the managerial
staff very precise and always very respectful in any questions that I had. Overall, my stay was a home-from-home experience and would recommend staying here to anyone.

My dad was admitted for a 2 week respite break but loves it so much that he wants to stay here permanently. The care he receives from the management team and every single carer and member of staff has been first class, nothing is too much trouble for them. Dad says he is looked after so well and as
a family we have peace of mind knowing he has 24-hour care in place. Thank you Village Green for making a 92-year-old with nursing needs feel happy and secure.

I would highly recommend Village Green Care Home, my dad stayed at the home for a respite period, the environment was lovely, the carers were attentive, kind and caring, the chef was wonderful, the management were helpful, understanding and highly efficient.

I am very happy with the care and attention my auntie receives from all staff. All levels of staff have time for my auntie, me and her visitors. They are very good at providing activities for the residents, my auntie loves having her hair done and her nails painted. Overall a very nice care home.

All the staff are all very busy caring for residents. They always find time to talk and make them feel wanted. Their communication, politeness and patience go without saying. All the carers are hardworking and under pressure to deliver care. If I was their manager, I would be praising and give them
an award/bonus every month, without having visitors sponsoring carers of the month. I am very happy with the care my husband is receiving from the carers. A big thank you to the carers.

My dad has been in the Village Green for a number of years now. Recently, it was taken over by new management who are doing a wonderful job. It is far easier entering the home now building works have been completed on the new reception area, the decor is tastefully in keeping for the residents and the
staff are always helpful and keep us up-to-date. My dad is looked after well, he is always clean and looks comfortable. His room is clean and tidy with his music playing, which he loves.

Mum has been at Village Green Care Home for several years. She has always been content on visiting. Since a new firm took over last year, I've seen many improvements, including the decor. The staff, although good before, are more motivated to providing care. Nothing is too much bother for them. Although
still under covid restrictions, I feel Mum's care and management has stepped up many notches. I would recommend Village Green Care Home to my friends.
