The care my mother received in the home from the day she arrived to the day she passed was exceptional. Every member of staff from cleaners to management were always kind, helpful and treated Mum with respect. Whenever I visited I too was welcomed, everyone always had a smile and a hello for me. When Mum was at End of life care, the staff not only cared for Mum but cared for my sister and I. I am so very grateful to Village Green Care Home. Thankyou.

Lovely carehome with caring attentive staff. Lots of day trips for residents and plenty of enrichment activities tailored to individuals. Plenty of feedback and updates and the staff always have time to chat through care plans etc

My husband is currently receiving end of life care and words cannot express how grateful I am. From the first day the staff have been so warm, kind and helpful towards us.

Their compassion goes way and beyond basic care. They recently took us out to a near by restaurant to celebrate my husbands birthday with family and as he's in a wheelchair he needed a special car to drive us there, this was no problem for them they made it trouble free from start to finish. Another special occasion was our 61st wedding anniversary, Im actually having tears as I write this we had a special table for two balloons chocolates flowers even a photo of us which they had sought out. The staff all came to see us gave us a card signed by them all I won't forget that day.

Everyone is so lovely and friendly in Village Green. The family fun day was amazing and such a good day. They look after everyone so well and it's so welcoming and calm! Best care home ever!!

This is a great care home, my Mum is well looked after, and is happier for being there. And the staff, Maggie, Sam etc are all amazing. My Mum also enjoys the food ... they have a dedicated kitchen and chef

In July it was her 80th birthday and, with the co-operation of the staff, her family & friends organised a party. It was a great success. Many thanks to the staff for their unobtrusive support and welcoming presence.

Our friend is a resident of Forest Lodge Care Home. It was her 80th birthday a few of her friends together with her family wanted to give her a surprise party. The staff and management went out of their way to make the day a memorable one. They provided a lovely cake, flowers, snacks and drinks and allowed us full use of one of the large activity rooms. Nothing could have been more perfect. Every time I visit the home, everything is spotlessly clean, and the staff are a delight. All needs are catered for in a kind and efficient way.

My mum has been very happy at Park House. The staff have been wonderful and are very caring towards her. Her room was lovely and the food good quality and varied. She always enjoyed the activities that were organised. The only reason we have moved her is to be with more family up North. I have always felt very confident that she has been well looked after at Park House.

From the moment mum went into the care home it has felt warm, peaceful, and truly homely. It is always spotlessly clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for both residents and visitors.

Maggie and all of the staff have been incredibly kind, helpful, and caring. They treat my mum with genuine compassion, dignity, and respect, and it's clear they go above and beyond to ensure she is happy and well looked after.

Knowing that my mum is receiving such excellent care gives me real peace of mind. I am so grateful to Maggie and the whole team for everything they do, and I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and supportive place for a loved one.

I don't know what I would have done without Village Green. They take such good care of my husband. I can't speak highly enough.

I moved my brother to Village Green in April after he had been in another care home for 3.5 years. I had become increasig concerned about his well-being in the previous home but was reluctant to move him in case his mental health declined. I should have done it much, much sooner. Initially he went to Village Green on a 4 week respite basis but thankfully he has now become permanent. From the start of his move, Pawel and his amazing staff have been so supportive to both my brother and myself. I used to dread going to see him in the old home as I never knew what state he would be in but now I can visit without worry. I cannot thank everyone at Village Green enough - they are all kind, caring, supportive and compassionate. The whole team are welcoming - the management team, office staff, carers, cleaners, maintentance and catering. Their communication is excellent so I am always kept informed of any problems that occur. A shining example of how to do dementia care.

Overall excellent experience really. Want to settle us all into the situation. My father has one to one care everyone shows empathy and carers.

My daughter's and myself came to view Village Green on 30th March 2026 due to my husband being discharged from hospital. When we first came through the doors we were made to feel welcomed. The staff are really remarkable so friendly, caring and nothing is too much. We decided there and them this is where we wanted him to be.

My mum went to Meppershall from hospital. We had not visited prior and it was both mum and myself first experience within a care home so we were not sure what to expect. We were both immediately welcomed and made to feel at ease. It is a very bright and spacious home and we were both pleasantly surprised. Mum stayed for 8 weeks and I can honestly say within that short amount of time it started to feel like home, the care and kindness all of the staff given not only to my mum but myself was amazing. I was constantly kept updated with mum's treatment and any health issues and it was lovely to see my mum bond and build relationships with the staff. Everyone from the nursing/care staff, admin, entertainment and housekeeping did their upmost to make mum's stay as comfortable as possible. Personally I also found the team very supportive, and always having a smile or a wave when I visited meant so much. I can't thank Meppershall enough for looking after us, it really is a wonderful place.
