Overall Experience

My husband entered the home at the end of August 2018. It was a difficult decision to make but with his advancing Alzheimer's, it became impossible to provide him with his care needs at home. The safe and pleasant environment, together with good staffing, have met my husband's requirements and I am confident he is being well cared for. I visit the home regularly at various times of the day and everything is always satisfactory.

I go a few times a week and find it very friendly. My friend is on the first floor. The staff are wonderful.

Overall Experience

It's never easy making the decision to place the person you love into a home. I hung on and tried to do it all myself until it became clear that I could no longer provide the 24-hour care he needed to keep him safe and comfortable. Right from the first home visit to his stay at Roselyn he was was so well cared for. Always clean and shaved and kept warm, safe, hydrated and fed properly. Nice clean ensuite room with plenty of space, Large wardrobe with hanging and folding space. Cabinets and plenty of drawers. Space to place a TV and aerial socket provided too. Big windows with nice outlook. Electric operated bed made positioning easy. Sensor pads are used to alert staff of possible dangers. Dementia is a terrible condition but the staff at Roselyn were so kind and compassionate, no matter what our needs we were both treated with dignity, respect and kindness. Thank you all so much for everything, nothing was too much trouble and I will never forget how much you helped us at a very difficult time.

Overall Experience

Home was well run. My mother's room was very nice and had a good view. I always found the staff very friendly and helpful and my mother's dietary needs were catered for. It was always comfortably warm and my mother was always clean and dressed well. Rosalyn House made what was a difficult period a whole lot easier. I was listened to by the nursing staff which is important.
