My mum was transferred to Leighton Forest from a dreadful care home. I only wished my mum had come here straight away from the hospital after a fall. The staff are lovely and caring and my mum loves it here. I truly believe that Leighton Forest will get my mum walking again. I am very happy with the care my mum is getting. Thank you.

Following Dad being discharged from the hospital, Leighton Forest was suggested as the best place for his needs. Although he was only there for 3 weeks before he died, he was looked after with care and dignity. The staff were all lovely to Dad and the family.

Very nice clean and modern care home with excellent and very friendly and helpful staff.
My dad who was extremely against going there for a respite stay settled in very quickly and enjoyed his time there.

Thanks to all the staff he is a lot better now and is able to return home.

Overall Experience

I was transferred from the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital to the Leighton Forest Care Home on 21st May suffering with Terminal Cancer. From the moment I arrived the service and care I have received has been exceptional. The Medical and Caring staff go out of their way to make life easier for me and nothing seems to be too much trouble. My room is very comfortable with all the facilities I need. Caring and Medical staff are available at the press of an alarm button with a prompt response time. Tea and Coffee is served throughout the day. There is a very good and varied choice of food. There is an extensive choice of activities throughout the day for those who wish to participate. Hairdressing is also available once a week. A very professional, caring and pro-active manager leading by example. I would have no hesitation in recommending Leighton Forest.

Overall Experience

My husband was a resident of Leighton Forest for 2 months. During his stay, he received truly excellent care. He was quite a challenge at times but the staff treated him with such tender kindness and patience. No one could have looked after him better. I do not hesitate to recommend Leighton Forest to others searching for excellent care for their loved ones, especially those nearing the end of their lives.

Beautifully furnished and decorated care home with lovely caring staff. The manager is very pro-active and nothing is too much trouble for her.
There were a couple of minor issues with the food as Mum is vegetarian and the food choice was repetitive but this was mainly down to my mum being particularly fussy!
Mum loved her stay at Leighton Forest and will definitely return for respite care.

Thank you to everyone involved in Mum's care.

Mother fought tooth and nail not to go into a care home.
Truth is she hasn’t been this happy for a long time. She is more herself now than she has been in years.
The staff are lovely, professional and very supportive. I couldn’t be more relieved and hopeful for a brighter future for Mother and us.

I would recommend Leighton Forest as the right place for your loved one, should the time come.

I am completely satisfied with the service my Mum gets, the staff are helpful, not only do they support my Mum but at difficult times they support me.
I could thoroughly recommend the home.

Since Pressbeau have taken over, the change is like going from a one star to a five star hotel, the refurbishments are lovely and there is a very homely feel within the whole place.

Overall Experience
Our loved one has been at Leighton Forest for 4 weeks now, in this time the care has been excellent, and he has settled in very well. The home is very well equipped to deal with our loved one's needs. There are also nurses on duty 24/7 which is very comforting.
The manager and all the staff are extremely kind and caring, they have listened to us as a family, understanding our loved one and all his ways. Good care being their priority, this has helped 100% during his transition into Leighton Forest and we would like to thank you all for this, he is very happy and joins in with all the many activities. Lots of new social spaces for residents and families to enjoy. Too many things to mention them all.
Leighton Forest has undergone a huge refurbishment, what a mammoth task.

A very caring and homely environment has been created, as a family we could not ask for more, thank you to the manager and all your staff.
