I am happy with knowing my nan is well looked after. Nan always enjoys the activities. Staff are all happy and helpful with family and nan. Nan's room is always clean and tidy.

I visited Northcourt Lodge Nursing Home to see my grandmother. The staff were very polite and attentive. The room was clean and satisfactory. The residents seemed happy and well taken care of.

Lovely staff/people. I know my friend's mother is looked after and I enjoy my visits with her every time! Staff are always happy to help out no matter how busy they are - this ensures that I know my friend's mother is getting the attention/help she requires at a high standard.

Very happy with the whole set up at Northcourt Lodge, all of the staff go above and beyond to help with residents and families. A good friendly welcoming feel to the place. Would definitely recommend!

Staff at the home are always very welcoming even in these trying times. My mother appears to be very happy now that she has settled in. There are a lot of good activities going on during the week and hopefully, once the restrictions are lifted, organised local visits will be able to take place once
more.

The main reason for selecting this care home is due to its size. I feel that it is small and the residents are well known to the staff and so can get that personal touch of care. When I raise a query it is dealt with immediately and my compliments to the management.
The only thing I would say needs
attention is the furnishing as these are now dated and are showing their use and age, particularly in the bedroom.

When I came for 1st viewing, I brought the husband of the potential resident to live in Northcourt Lodge. Residents and staff were all smiling, chatty and happy and gave us a very warm welcome. The resident moved in May 2019 and all the residents gave the warmest welcome and the staff were fantastic.
The new resident started her new life and hasn't looked back! Love my visits to the home.

Northcourt Lodge is an excellent example of nursing home care. My Aunt has resided there now for almost five years and I have never had any occasion to complain or not be happy with her care. Whenever I arrive to visit with my husband, we are always greeted with a smile on the door, being opened for
us and a friendly 'hello, nice to see you'. Any questions we have are always dealt with by either the staff or management, whichever is appropriate at the time.

My mother is happy, well looked after and eating well. There is only one less positive comment - The staff don't seem to notice when my mum can't hear or when her hearing aid batteries need replacing. I feel that it is extremely important that Mum can communicate as much as possible so could a quick
check that she is hearing properly become part of her daily routine, please?

My mother has been a resident for four years, and in that time, the care and attention of the staff has never been in doubt. In the whole period, we have never found the need to complain about anything.

Following a massive stroke, my mother spent her final seven months being looked after at Northcourt Lodge. The care she received was excellent. The staff were kind, and her care was everything we could wish for. We were contacted immediately if there were any problems. All the food is cooked fresh for
every meal, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly.

Very basic home and seems to be a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff. Not much interaction between staff and the residents, they are not spoken to much. Overall, the home is clean and tidy, just not enough stimulation.

I am very happy with my mother's care and impressed with the team's ability to cater for each individual resident's unique requirements, even though it is a small team. I always feel welcome and standards are kept high in terms of residents nutrition, hygiene, hydration and general wellbeing.
