My mother has been a resident for four years, and in that time, the care and attention of the staff has never been in doubt. In the whole period, we have never found the need to complain about anything.

Following a massive stroke, my mother spent her final seven months being looked after at Northcourt Lodge. The care she received was excellent. The staff were kind, and her care was everything we could wish for. We were contacted immediately if there were any problems. All the food is cooked fresh for every meal, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly.

Very basic home and seems to be a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff. Not much interaction between staff and the residents, they are not spoken to much. Overall, the home is clean and tidy, just not enough stimulation.

I am very happy with my mother's care and impressed with the team's ability to cater for each individual resident's unique requirements, even though it is a small team. I always feel welcome and standards are kept high in terms of residents nutrition, hygiene, hydration and general wellbeing.

My mother was moved from another nursing home on Dec 9th, 2016. During the time so far at Northcourt Lodge, the staff and management have been faultless and very vigilant, attending to my mother's more specific needs. I can see a difference both in the professionalism and genuine care than from the last nursing home. I didn't score the activities as my mum is bedbound.

My mother has been in this home for 10 years. The staff at this home has been excellent. My mother has been well cared for and treated with respect at all times, a very friendly atmosphere, there is always something going on to keep their minds active, hair and nails are done every week. They have outings when it can be arranged with rail buses. I can't speak highly enough and I can't thank them enough for taking such good care of my mum.

A great home. The staff are always helpful. The home is always clean and resident's clothes are cleaned on a daily basis. There is something going on every day for people to do if they wish to. Food is cooked on site every day and fresh veg/fruit is used where possible. A place where we can leave our Mum and not worry.
