Queens Court Care Home

The staff at Queens Court have made life for my mum in her later years as comfortable as possible. From my mother's first day, the staff have been nothing but friendly and attentive making sure she gets the care and security she desperately needs. Thank you all for providing a great service.

I cannot praise the care my wife is getting enough.

Although my sister in law has only been in the home since May myself, my husband and the rest of the family are very pleased with the care that are sister gets. The nurses, carers and the rest of the staff are so caring, polite and very welcoming to us when we visit. Nothing is to much trouble. We are so pleased with everything that she gets.

Staff very friendly and food excellent. Very helpful and could not do enough for me. I knew my husband would find it hard being away from me and is not very communicative, but after a few hiccups, he was fine. He does find it hard to interact. Staff had to handle me being very deaf and I felt they did very well.

My thanks for a safe and happy stay at Queen's Court Care Home. It was a pleasure to be with you and I hope to come again.

Family and friends have all commented on the loving care provided and been impressed by the attention given to any suggestions regarding my wife’s welfare. Floral gifts are taken by staff, nicely arranged in vases and displayed in my wife’s room.

The care of our mother has been very good indeed. The staff are attentive and consider the residents's wishes and choices. Lots of activities and residents can do as much or as little as they want. You could see that for many of the staff it’s not just a job but they really care about the residents. Our mother's medical and physical care was very good. Facilities are good and everything was always well looked after. When our mother came to end of life, the staff could not have been more supportive. Would recommend.

It has been a difficult time for care homes but the current home manager and her team are doing a great job. We are very happy.

We have been very pleased by the way our mother has been welcomed into the home. The staff have been very welcoming and explain everything in detail. They are warm and friendly. The carers and nurses seem to be doing a professional job and are kind and considerate. The room is clean and smells good and is comfortable. She has been able to bring lots of her own things. The food is tasty, well presented and good. The room is very noisy as it looks out onto a busy road. There are noises outside constantly from other people and bells ringing all the time. Nice garden space.

My husband has been a resident of Queens Court for four years now. He has specific and acute medical needs and requires 24 care nursing care. I and our children would highly recommend the care given and staff at Queens Court. My husband is treated with respect and consideration and his medical needs are well attended to.

The staff are friendly and helpful, but seem to be quite stretched. Getting in and out of the home can be difficult for visitors. Communication from shift to shift could be improved. The food is good. The rooms are airy and bright and the temperature is well maintained.

The care home was excellent when my mum went here. They made her feel at home straight away and have done everything to help her settle in. My mum is always treated with dignity. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The staff were very helpful to me and my sister with any questions that we had.

My mother has been a resident on the nursing floor for six years and the care is always very good. The current staff appear happy and always caring towards my mum. Nowhere is perfect, there is always room for improvement, but overall, Mum and the family are very happy. Things have improved since the new manager arrived last year.

From maintenance and laundry, right up to administration and management, the Queen's Court staff make it feel like home for my mum. Thank you.

I love my care. Everyone is wonderful here and always go the extra mile and work very hard. I don't know what I will do without them.

I am a resident at Queen's Court. I have been living here for three years. I have enjoyed my time here. The new home manager is very friendly and loving. She enjoys talking to us and having a laugh.

Things have improved since a new manager.

My experience so far with Queens Court in Windsor, has been excellent. My mum moved in at the beginning of September and they couldn't do more to support her. The pictures online don't do the home justice. It's spotless throughout and every member of staff seems very experienced and an absolute pleasure to speak with. You can tell they really care. There's a private sealed garden which residents on the ground floor can access whenever they like. The food options are very impressive and there are always options. My mother is a picky eater and if she doesn't want what is being given, they will make her a sandwich of her choice. There is unlimited fruit, juices, chocolate and crisps which residents have access to whenever they want it. To anyone deciding on a home for family, I recommend you base your judgment on physical visits rather than online pictures. You will know which home is the right one based on the "feel" you get when visiting. Do not pick based solely on CQC ratings.

My mother has been a resident of Queen's Court since November 2018. She has advanced dementia and is totally reliant on the staff for everything. The staff have been absolutely fantastic since she moved in and they are all so caring and look after her beautifully. She is extremely happy too, and that is because of the care she receives. We have been so lucky that she was placed there.
