Overall Experience
My mother moved into Queen's Court Care Home in January 2020. My mother has been in the final stages of Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia for over three years and is unable to move, talk or do anything for herself.

Those working at Queen's Court have been absolutely amazing. They soon became accustomed to my mother's needs and their superb attention to detail enabled her to settle in with no stress or change to her routine. Three months after she moved Coronavirus hit the nation and we were unable to visit. Quite a shock as we had been visiting many times a week. The home and carers have coped with the stress of this situation extremely well. Their approach is incredibly professional, all of their workers give the necessary time that my mother needs to ensure she eats and drinks well. I have had regular updates and letters as well as phone calls, video call conversations and video meetings with management of the home. I can not praise them enough!

Overall Experience

I have only positive things to say about my 93 year old father’s 6-month stay at Queen’s Court from his admission to his peaceful passing. Indeed, the management agreed to readmit him from a brief stay in hospital so that he could spend his final days with them in dignity and peace. I found them professional and thorough in all matters. There was a sense of pride in the rebuilt reputation of the establishment. Whenever I entered the building I heard laughter and conversation. There was none of that ‘tumbleweed’ feel you can associate with care homes. I was able to decorate my father’s room with pictures and ornaments and install his television. Even though his mental state was a little confused, he was placed on the nursing floor where the care level, food and hygiene routine were all excellent. His physical frailty, regular tiredness and mental confusion made him a slightly difficult patient at times but he received nothing but considerate and affectionate care in my experience.

Queen's Court has provided a very welcoming environment from our first experience. The residents are extremely well cared for and have plenty of interesting activities.

The catering is excellent and the communal area is very well appointed.
