Rachel studied to be a nurse in Wales and qualified in 2015. She had a varied role as a nurse, starting in the burns intensive care unit in Swansea, moving to young adults with complex care needs and then into acute emergency care in Wexham Park.
Rachel found her passion for dementia care when joining a nurse bank team in a local care home whilst working as an acute care nurse. This inspiration has seen Rachel transfer her skills, working in care home management since 2018.
Rachel joined Bridge House in July 2022 and has made a big impact so far, Bridge received a GOOD overall in the CQC inspection in November 2022. Rachel has an honest, transparent, and respectful leadership style and is passionate about delivering high-quality person-centred care to the residents living in the community at Bridge House.
In Rachel’s spare time, she enjoys gardening, running and travelling.
