We would like to offer our reassurance that the necessary referrals were made in August 2021 and followed up on a regular basis however, unfortunately, we are not able to influence GP decisions, or expedite NHS waiting lists.

We appreciate your comments on medication, and we are reliant on the response times from the GP and delivering pharmacy service in relation to medication, and we are sorry if the pharmacy service is slower than expected. Thank you very much for your kind comments about Glebelands. We do try to cater for the food preferences of all residents, and there is always a choice of options for each meal. We recognise that some people do not enjoy spicy foods, while others do like them, and so we try to offer both options. In addition, if anyone doesn’t not fancy what is on the menu, our Chef is always happy to provide an alternative. We are sorry if laundry is a concern, and if there is a problem in this area, please contact the acting manager, who will look into this. As deputy manager, I always take a very hands-on approach, due to my background in nursing. I’ve had over 20 years’ experience, and I believe in going above and beyond for our residents. For me, it’s important to support the whole team in providing the best care possible.
After working as a Care Assistant I was offered a role of Activities Coordinator two years ago and I haven’t looked back. My job is my passion - I’m always dressing up and smiling, really getting to know people and supporting them through humour.

Since joining Glebelands I have been looking after our beautiful grade 2 listed building with the rest of my team. My job is not just about solutions, but also about making each room personal and unique to each resident. I take pride in my work, but my focus is on helping the residents feel that this is their home.
I have worked here for 7 years now, helping to make the house feel like a home for our residents by keeping it clean, tidy and safe. It’s like a family, I am always chatting with the residents while I work, and they share their memories and family pictures with me.
