My Mother was transferred to Glebelands at the end of July having been discharged from hospital. From Day 1 the care and support she has received from all the team at Glebelands have been second to none and I would like to offer each and every one my sincere gratitude for their caring attention. They all do such a wonderful job.

Unfortunately, she wasn't mobile enough to take part in any of the activities but was always treated with respect by all the care and nursing staff. My Sister and I were most impressed that she had even had a manicure!

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Glebelands for anyone in need of care or nursing.

After short stays in a couple of other homes my 98 year old uncle enjoyed almost a year of this lovely home from home atmosphere. With attention to his dignity and preferences, as well as health and entertainment, it was a very comfortable and stress free experience. The level of staffing and quality of genuine care were outstanding and the company of charming residents joining in daily activities made this a much less lonely experience for my Uncle.
Well-equipped, spacious and attractive accommodation. It felt more like a smart hotel than a nursing home. He was well supported to stay active and involved and as a family we were reassured that any medical problems were quickly identified by nurses and referred promptly to Doctors as necessary.

Professional staff seem to work well together as a team and were welcoming and friendly, helping residents and relatives feel confident that they are individuals that matter. This "people first" ethos seems to have continued with the new owners.

A good care home for those in need of a high level of care. I stayed for a period of respite care during radiotherapy.
Staff were always kind and treated everybody with dignity and respect.

I would have liked the GP supporting the care home to be more available.

Dad received excellent care during his short stay at Glebelands. He came there from hospital following the death of his wife of 67 yrs. The care and compassion shown by the staff to Dad and our family was wonderful. Although unable to take part in the activities due to his poor health, Dad was visited by many of the staff (including the activity organiser who chatted to him about the previous day's event) the catering staff and he even had a hair cut. He described the food and nursing care as 'first class'. Even the laundry service was excellent. Unfortunately, his health deteriorated and he was re-admitted to hospital where he died later the following day.

From our first visit and initial enquiry about Glebelands to the day we collected his belongings the staff have been professional, friendly and caring. I hope Glebelands is still there if I ever need care in the future.

From the moment we walked in we knew this was the care home which would facilitate all of our father's needs. He has become part of the Glebelands family; he's only been there 10 days. All staff must be highly commended on both their professional and personal approach to my father and us as a family. We can't ask for more, if we do it's provided for instantly.

Finding a care home for your loved one is a nightmare. I was so lucky to be introduced to Glebelands. My mother was looked after for fifteen months with compassion and dignity and the staff showing a can-do attitude at all times. Not only did they care for mum but the family too which at times was needed and appreciated. A truly special place.

My Mother spent just over two weeks at Glebelands for much-needed respite care following surgery. She had a super room, first class care including nursing, lots of activities each day and excellent food. All the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and treated my Mum with the utmost respect. Glebelands is in a stunning setting too. She now lives in a self-contained flat adjacent to the care home. A perfect outcome!
