Overall Experience
My stepmother spent only the last two months of her life at Cherry Tree. She was well looked after, and in her lucid moments, said as much. Whenever we asked about her, the nursing staff not only knew who she was but also had a detailed knowledge and understanding of her condition.
In these days of COVID, we had little opportunity to see or appreciated the service provided or the opportunities that are accessible. However, we are completely satisfied with the care provided. Consequently, I have left some boxes marked as satisfactory, not out of dissatisfaction but out of lack of knowledge.

Finally, a big thank you to the staff who looked after her.

My wife, aged 91, has been resident in Cherry Tree Nursing Home for the past seven months during which time she has received care which I can only describe as being second to none. I have the impression that this home is run by management and staff [without exception] that are truly dedicated to their work and always ready with that extra TLC which makes all the difference to an ailing patient.

For the short time my family member was in the home, he was treated with dignity, respect and compassion at all times.
The scenery at the home, with the pond and outdoor space, made the stay very welcoming and relaxing. Security could be improved, no staff at reception most of the time and no buzzer entry at the front door.

Thank you for providing fantastic care.

The staff are very kind and friendly. They respond quickly when assistance is needed. I have no other experience of care homes but am happy that my wife is receiving a good level of care.

At the moment, reception is unmanned hence the poor safety/security mark but I think action is being taken with this. Cherry Tree Nursing Home seems to be a happy caring place.

Mum received palliative care in the new wing. She was looked after with the utmost respect, care and attention.

The family was made welcome at any time, day and night, and we would like to thank all staff for their support.

As a relative of a resident, in my view, the whole staff are friendly and willing to help in any way they can. Nothing seems too much trouble for them.

There would be no hesitation to recommending Cherry Tree Nursing Home to family and friends.

My wife has been a resident for about 18 months since she is unable to walk due to Parkinsons and needs to be hoisted from bed to chair etc. Initially, we were drawn to Cherry Tree by the setting, friendly welcome and happy atmosphere and have not been disappointed. A slight "hiccup" late last year with lots of staff changes but back on an "even keel" now. Carers are friendly and attentive and food freshly prepared and good. The grounds are a delight and we spend most of the time outdoors in the summer months.
