The Heights looked after my darling mother from February 2016 until she died on the 19/11/18. I cannot fault the loving attentive caring and obliging service she received there. The home directors/manager was always on hand to speak to me about any concerns and the wonderful staff were always so kind and loving to my precious mother. I cannot fault this home.

A Care home that actually cares! This amazing place looked after my mum so well giving her love and dignity until the end. She always looked clean and happy, would even have her nails painted which made her smile. The carers and nurses always seemed happy and the general atmosphere was bright and cheery. It also helped that there is a low turnover of staff so she had the same carers throughout her stay. Wonderful place - highly recommended.

I cannot thank God enough for providing my wife with such a good home to spend her last days in.

The care given is exceptional by both nurses and carers. My wife is comfortable and restful in spite of all the medical and emotional problems.

Very pleased that my partner is being looked after so well in The Heights and is much nearer me in Marlow Bottom. The refreshments go down well. The staff are so friendly to me and are so nice to my partner. I am sure you will be well looked after for many years to come.

My husband was in care at the above home for nearly six years up to the date. During all that time I had little cause to be concerned in any way with the care taken to make his life comfortable and happy.

My sister was in care for 60 years and this was, by far, the best all-round home.

It is not the same as caring for them in the way you would like. As long as queries can be dealt with almost immediately it is a great help for the family.

In this home, 90% of the staff were dedicated, hardworking and helpful.

Having an alert, efficient manager at the helm makes the world of difference and this includes being 'hands on' with training, knowledge of all areas and speaking to and with all patients regularly.

My aunt was very well looked after at The Heights for the last 3 years, until she passed away.
The staff were so kind and considerate to her especially over the last few months of her life.
Every care was taken to make sure she was comfortable, she was very happy and well looked after and all the staff are so caring.

We couldn't have asked for more.

When I first went to view The Heights as a potential home for my Dad, I instantly noticed the relaxed atmosphere there.
The staff all seemed happy along with the residents I met.
I didn't think my Dad would make it out of the hospital as he was so poorly and wasn't eating but he had 7 great months at The Heights.
The staff were amazing and got him eating and walking again.
They not only looked after him but also me when I visited.
It felt like family.
He died so peacefully surrounded by caring staff in a lovely home.

I highly recommend the heights.

All the staff were kind and helpful any time of the day, they had time to talk to you if you had a problem. My husband was hard to nurse but they won him around and he was well looked after.

A beautiful building, fantastic activity team and I cannot fault Dad's core care team.

My advice to anyone considering placing a relative here is to be sure that the home can meet your relatives needs and never question anything as you might regret it. My Dad was asked to leave.

Each week I visit my mother in the home and am greeted by smiling, helpful and friendly staff. The attention to the ambiance of the home is exceptional. Each festival is celebrated in an artistic way and where possible an activity is linked. Fresh flowers are regularly placed on tables in seating areas and look wonderful. The home is clean and tidy and the other residents appear happy and talkative, a testament to the quality care they receive.

I began my career in Health and Social Care back in 2002 in my hometown of North Wales, working as a Care Assistant. It was there that I discovered my passion for supporting others. In 2007, I became a Registered Nurse, earning a BSc (Hons) in Nursing, and in 2015, I completed a master’s degree in management.

Over the years, I’ve worked in Nursing and Dementia care environments, and I genuinely love what I do. Caring for others is such a privilege - being a part of someone’s life is incredibly special and something I value deeply.
