Oak House is a modern care home situated in a tranquil, residential area of Slough. The dedicated team provides personalised nursing, residential and dementia care for older people on a permanent and respite basis.

The purpose-built home is organised into eight suites, each having its own dining room and stylish lounge area. The home also has spacious bedrooms, a cinema room and a hair salon with two visiting hair stylists. With over an acre of grounds, including secure, landscaped gardens and courtyards, in warmer weather residents and visitors can enjoy spending time in the sunshine.

The friendly team enjoys building good relationships with residents' loved ones, as they share the same goal of making sure residents are happy, comfortable and settled.

We have been very happy with the care and service provided to my husband all round. The carers are always ready to help with service with smile on their faces, I will recommend anybody at anytime. A very big thank you to all the staff of Oak House.

Staff do a wonderful job in 5 years of visiting but floor sometimes short staffed when you may require one but no complaints really.

My husband has been in Oak House for 5 months and in all that time has been treated very well. All the staff are caring and friendly and very to me and the family. My husband has a very nice room which is kept clean and tidy and he is very happy with it as am I
I am very grateful to everyone for the
kindness shown and comfort given to me and my husband at a very stressful time. If I have any concerns they are always dealt with promptly.

I am very blessed to have found such a care home for my husband, In times of need it is important to be able to trust where to leave your loved one's. I must say the staff are all amazing, they make you feel at ease and are are very welcoming. The standard of cleanliness and hygiene is outstanding,
not only this but they maintain this with their patients. My husband is always well groomed and kept clean credit to entire team at Oak House, they are like a second family. I would highly recommend this care home. Thank you Oak House! for you amazing support in my difficult time!.

Mum has been at Oak House for a while and it is wonderful. The facilities are excellent. The staff are amazing, from the moment you enter the building until the moment you leave everyone is caring and helpful.

My uncle had very good support and help while he was on first floor of Oak House and he became friends with the many staff who looked after him. Towards the end of his life his wishes were always taken into account.

Our thanks and gratitude go out to the excellent care home Oak House for first class care given and taken when our aunt was a resident there. Our aunt was there for about 18 months and in that time the nursing care shown and given was exemplary. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were always greeted
by 'hello's' and smiles! Although our aunt took a little time to settle she soon did because of the friendly and warm nursing care. A special mention and many many thanks to the team on the second floor.

We are very happy about the care provided to my husband. The staff are responsive to my husbands needs and keep us informed of changes accordingly. The staff are polite, courteous and kind to me and my sister who visit my husband regularly. Keep up the good work!!

Job Title: Home Manager

I’ve been part of the Care UK family for nearly 16 years now. Previously, I was a Home Manager at another Care UK home, where I led the home to achieve an overall ‘Outstanding’ rating from our internal governance team. My career includes working as a registered nurse in my native Poland, as a paramedic, and I’ve even trained with the Army.


I am passionate about creating an environment that supports the independence of residents with one clear goal in mind: providing the best of care. I relish making residents happy and comfortable as well as supporting the team to do their best work. Teamwork is vital in a setting like this.
