We have been really impressed by The Willows. The caring and dedicated staff are always available, the cleanliness, the friendliness and sheer compassion that is shown by everyone there. We visited at odd times for months and all the time all the residents looked clean and so well looked after. It is so good there are lovely homes like this. Thank you, everyone at The Willows.

In the 3 years that Mum has been in the care of The Willows, she has been treated by all the staff equally well. The premises is very well run and over the whole time, we have become to know all the staff as friends!

My mother passed away recently having been a resident at The Willows for 4 years. In the years that she was resident, she was treated with care, compassion and respect. During the last few days of her life the care was exemplary and not only was mum treated with respect and TLC, so was I.

The Willows Care Centre really looked after my wife extremely well from the time she arrived until her death. The managers, nurses and carers were brilliant. Her room and bed were always clean. All her food was nicely prepared. They also fed her whenever it was needed.

Our granny at 96 years old has been living independently but needs changed and granny was initially adamant not to go to a care home. The staff at The Willows Care Home from the outset were patient, knowledgeable, kind and professional. To the point that granny decided The Willows was the place for her to be and moved from her family home of 73 years. The care at The Willows has been spot on, granny was happy, warm, clean and well fed and we as a family were well supported no matter what time we needed anything. Thank you.

Our mother has gone from totally excluding herself from everyone within the care home to now befriending several other users within The Willows. We used to find her shut in her room with the lights off (this was her doing). Now she brings her friends to her room to show us her latest artworks and simply show off! It is very good knowing mum is totally safe. The WHOLE care team and management are truly amazing people we consider to be our extended family. Thank you for all you do every minute of every day. Real life "Angels".

My mum suffers from dementia and The Willows have a floor dedicated to this awful disease. The team are wonderful with the residents and families, supportive, helpful and caring. Lots of laughter. They have a very demanding and difficult job, but still manage to be kind and patient.

My mum recently had a birthday and they made her day so special. Thank you all for your hard work, it is very much appreciated

My mother was admitted from hospital on Monday 21st November. It was her birthday (98 years) the next day. When I went in they had put balloons at her door and there was a card in the afternoon although my mother was not aware of what was going on. They brought in a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday.
Sadly she died early on 23rd November. All the staff were so caring and thoughtful to my mother and me and my family. I was so pleased that she died in such lovely surroundings.

My thanks to all the staff.

Making a decision to choose a care home for a relative is hard but was made easier when The Willows was approached and we were shown the premises and were pleasantly surprised with the lovely, clean, safe environment. Dad has been a resident for several months and is happy, enjoys the food and finds the staff friendly and hard working. He has deteriorated over the past few months causing us worry but the staff are in regular contact with updates and they have addressed and acted on concerns/issues that have been raised by the family. They also support dad by working with local health professionals to obtain the best for him. When visiting, I've seen he is treated with care and respect, even at his most difficult and demanding times. Since his arrival, dad and the family have been well supported by all members of staff. Thank you.

I was transferred from hospital to The Willows Care Centre after breaking my right leg in four places due to a very bad fall. The care I received was excellent, I had paralysis in my left arm and leg so I had to be hoisted out of bed daily. The nurses were wonderful and so warm and caring, and management staff.

My mother has been in The willows for respite care 2006-2015, then for full-time care (private) from September 2015 - February 2017. I have always found the staff very friendly and helpful. Mum is now on the dementia ward. She also has eyesight, hearing, incontinence and mobility problems. The staff do a great job in difficult circumstances and treat all residents with care and respect. I do not think she would have better care in any of the other local homes.
