At Ashbrook Court Care Home, the compassionate team cares for their cherished residents with the same love and tenderness as shown to their own family members. The home provides person-centred residential, nursing, and dementia care in a vibrant and homely environment.

The friendly home offers comfortable en-suite bedrooms, spacious lounges, as well as a bistro, library, salon, and vintage sweet shop, all laid out in an accessible building surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Ashbrook Court is dedicated to delivering high-quality care, to achieve this, the team undertakes extensive, ongoing training and professional development.

Residents are supported to try new activities and rediscover hobbies, whilst enjoying a range of opportunities from music and movement classes and make a wish initiative, to gardening club. Underpinned by strong links to the local community, Ashbrook Court welcomes regular performers, school groups, and toddlers as part of its ‘Little Cherubs’ intergenerational project. As well as enjoying regular minibus excursions to local places of interest.

And, with soothing lighting, aromatherapy, relaxing hand massages, and sound therapy, residents can experience multi-sensory relaxation as part of a group, or in the comfort of their own bedroom, during regular Namaste Care sessions.

Residents’ families and friends play a key role in care home life and the team develops a detailed care plan in partnership with the resident and those closest to them. Families know their loved ones are being cared for by a trusted and reputable provider, with care and compassion at the forefront of all they do.

I have been visiting my mother in law at Ashbrook Court for the past 10 years. There have been changes in that time but all for the better. It has always been spotlessly clean and the staff are all very caring and helpful. Visiting is never restricted to certain times and I visit at all different times
and on different days but whenever I’m there I feel welcome. My mother in law is always clean, comfortable and well looked after.

The care which we have received has been amazing. It can be quite frightening for both family members at the time, but the staff make it very easy and relax both members. You can call anytime, either visit or telephone and you always have very friendly staff. Thank you to everyone, you do the most amazing

The staff are always helpful and polite. They are patient and kind when dealing with residents. The staff are always busy and sometimes I think they are short staffed. The home is clean with no unpleasant smells.
The residents enjoy the activities and I join in when visits concur.

From the very first interview, I was impressed with how this home was run. I never worry about my dad. I know he is looked after properly, his room is clean and tidy and I pop in at crazy times and have always been happy with his care.

My dad has received excellent care. He has been treated with patience, kindness and respect. He tells me that the staff have become like family to him. It is wonderful to know that is in such good hands.

My experience has been extremely positive so far. My mother is a quiet and shy person with a very gentle nature and the transition from hospital to the placement was incredibly difficult for her to process. However, the staff have been incredibly warm and supportive kind and engaging. Therefore, she
has settled well and it's clear that she is happy, hence our family are happy. A wonderful warm place.

Staff are polite and friendly. The care home is clean and tidy. I like that you can visit at any time. The care home has a relaxed atmosphere and it feels friendly. The manager is helpful and polite.

I have visited regularly over the last 2 years and what a difference there has been in the last year. The home is clean and there are new places for residents to enjoy, there is a lovely atmosphere, staff smiling and laughing and the food is lovely. Nothing is too much trouble and when I had a question

My mum has only been here a short while but the difference in her is amazing. In hospital, she was always lying down, since her arrival, she is sitting upright in a chair, dressed and able to hold a conversation. None of which she has been doing for several months.
She seems happy and already settled.

My father has recently moved to Ashbrook Court. All the staff we have met have been very approachable and readily available. They have always dealt with my father is a sensitive and caring manner. The home is generally a cheerful place although at times has been a little unsettled by unpredictable
behaviour from other residents, however, staff have been observed managing this appropriately.

Ashbrook Court cared for my mother whilst she was in the most difficult and challenging part of advanced Alzheimer's Disease until she died. They did this with compassion, care and great professionalism.

Was good until the new manager came along. Clothes going missing super regular at times my dad had no briefs on, dirty stained brief left in the bedside drawer, dirty clothes left on the floor. I spoke to the manager who totally disregarded my concerns, sarcastic remarks and tried to hang up the phone
on me. I can't keep buying clothes she replied, social does not me. Rude and nothing to do with his clothes going missing. And my dad pays for his own clothes I buy them, went care home same day to take briefs the manager saw me on entrance gave me a dirty look. Other family members were also making complaints went up to see my dad. I was speaking to another member of staff about my concern the manager appears and calls the staff member away from me. Staff try but the manager doesn't support them. Weekly trips but only 2 in 1 yr. Bad bad management worst I've seen. The staff say they are sick of how things are some say they're leaving some say they need support from families to challenge management I'm now trying to get my dad moved.

Everyone was really friendly and helpful, and mum was extremely well cared for. I will be recommending this home to anyone looking for respite and will definitely be using it again in the future. Thank you to all the staff.

My mum moved into Ashbrook Court Care Home in October 2017. She was extremely agitated and unhappy. She is now settled and jolly.
This must be because the staff have worked extremely hard to ensure this happens. I am confident that if I am concerned about anything the management will sort it quickly.

My mum was referred to Ashbrook Court Care Home for nursing care. I was impressed with the room, its cleanliness and the standard of care provided by Ashbrook. As I visited my mum quite a bit in her short time there I could see the care and attention she received was of a high standard, with the staff
showing real compassion and professionalism. This was such a weight and off my mind, as my mum was very ill and sadly passed away - but the team at Ashbrook worked to make sure she was comfortable at all times and ensured her dignity in her final days.


I would like to thank the team who provided my mum and me with incredible support at this difficult time.
