Care at the home seems very good although I would like to see Mum included in more of the outings and events provided by the home. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy the few she has been included in. Her health has improved a lot since she has been at Ashbrook Court.

My mother has been a resident at Ashbrook for about 16 months, and her care has always been tailored to her exact needs. All the staff from the manager, through to the carers, nurses, and cleaning staff treat her with respect and like one of the family. There is always a wide programme of activities even during the lockdown to stimulate their interests. Any maintenance issues are dealt with swiftly. Mum loves it.

When first visiting the care home a couple of years ago I knew it was the best place for my mother in law. It felt very warm and inviting like home from home. The staff and carers were friendly, helpful and made me and my mother in law feel welcome. The transition period was made very easy. Before covid, I visited most days and never was I disappointed with the staff. They always bent over backwards to make the residents and families welcome. They always do activities and have wonderful entertainment pre covid. I couldn’t recommend them more. Also when talking to people and telling them where my mother in law is they tell me one of their family members used to go. Always speaking highly of Ashbrook.

I am so pleased that my mum is now a resident at Ashbrook Court. She moved there in March 2020 from another care home. It has been a difficult year for everyone because of Covid but it is such a relief to know that my mum is now being well cared for and looked after appropriately. The staff who look after her have all been amazing. They are always positive, cheerful and very caring. I look forward to seeing photos of mum on Facebook enjoying the amazing entertainment and activities that are always going on. I would recommend Ashbrook Court to everyone and I am so happy and relieved that my mum is living there now.

I was a person who was very afraid of my family or myself going in care. On visiting my brother I am so delighted to see what a lovely atmosphere there was. As

soon as you entered the premises the people working had lovely attitudes towards the patients. May my brother's stay with you be a rewarding one. Staff brilliant, dinner smelt great and pleased to see how happy you all were. Thank you.

Ashbrook staff have really gone out of their way to help settle my mum into care home life. They have quickly grasped her needs to ensure she receives the care she needs.

The range of activities and inclusion of photographs on social media is wonderful to see her engaging and having fun.

I have been visiting my mother in law at Ashbrook Court for the past 10 years. There have been changes in that time but all for the better. It has always been spotlessly clean and the staff are all very caring and helpful. Visiting is never restricted to certain times and I visit at all different times and on different days but whenever I’m there I feel welcome. My mother in law is always clean, comfortable and well looked after.

The care which we have received has been amazing. It can be quite frightening for both family members at the time, but the staff make it very easy and relax both members. You can call anytime, either visit or telephone and you always have very friendly staff. Thank you to everyone, you do the most amazing job.

The staff are always helpful and polite. They are patient and kind when dealing with residents. The staff are always busy and sometimes I think they are short staffed. The home is clean with no unpleasant smells.

The residents enjoy the activities and I join in when visits concur.

From the very first interview, I was impressed with how this home was run. I never worry about my dad. I know he is looked after properly, his room is clean and tidy and I pop in at crazy times and have always been happy with his care.

My experience has been extremely positive so far. My mother is a quiet and shy person with a very gentle nature and the transition from hospital to the placement was incredibly difficult for her to process. However, the staff have been incredibly warm and supportive kind and engaging. Therefore, she has settled well and it's clear that she is happy, hence our family are happy. A wonderful warm place.

I have visited regularly over the last 2 years and what a difference there has been in the last year. The home is clean and there are new places for residents to enjoy, there is a lovely atmosphere, staff smiling and laughing and the food is lovely. Nothing is too much trouble and when I had a question the Manager took time to explain and give me information.

My mum has only been here a short while but the difference in her is amazing. In hospital, she was always lying down, since her arrival, she is sitting upright in a chair, dressed and able to hold a conversation. None of which she has been doing for several months.

She seems happy and already settled.
