At Ashbrook Court Care Home, the compassionate team cares for their cherished residents with the same love and tenderness as shown to their own family members. The home provides person-centred residential, nursing, and dementia care in a vibrant and homely environment.

The friendly home offers comfortable en-suite bedrooms, spacious lounges, as well as a bistro, library, salon, and vintage sweet shop, all laid out in an accessible building surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Ashbrook Court is dedicated to delivering high-quality care, to achieve this, the team undertakes extensive, ongoing training and professional development.

Residents are supported to try new activities and rediscover hobbies, whilst enjoying a range of opportunities from music and movement classes and make a wish initiative, to gardening club. Underpinned by strong links to the local community, Ashbrook Court welcomes regular performers, school groups, and toddlers as part of its ‘Little Cherubs’ intergenerational project. As well as enjoying regular minibus excursions to local places of interest.

And, with soothing lighting, aromatherapy, relaxing hand massages, and sound therapy, residents can experience multi-sensory relaxation as part of a group, or in the comfort of their own bedroom, during regular Namaste Care sessions.

Residents’ families and friends play a key role in care home life and the team develops a detailed care plan in partnership with the resident and those closest to them. Families know their loved ones are being cared for by a trusted and reputable provider, with care and compassion at the forefront of all they do.

My father's care and needs are met with kindness and understanding, for which I am extremely grateful. The regular trips out help him greatly and he is always made to feel valued. He is listened to and reassured which helps him to understand why he is there.

Overall the care home delivers the best care that it can, given the transient nature of care workers. It is always providing entertainment for the residents and relatives to make their stay enjoyable. The effort put in from the manager and his team is to be commended.

Both our parents are now residents of Ashbrook Court Care home and we are grateful every day for the care, support and love they are given. All staff members treat all residents with dignity at all times and care for them as if they were their own loved ones. The Management and staff are always approachable
and involved in understanding both our loved one's needs and those of us as a family wanting the very best for those we love. There are always activities within Ashbrook Court which are fun and stimulating for the residents. Trips out and garden time when the weather is fine. As family members we are supported and feel very much part of The Ashbrook Court family.

I am kept well informed of my mother's health and doctor visits and results. The regular emails particularly over the last 2 years were very helpful and gave us peace of mind. The staff are always helpful. My only negative is it is not always possible to get through on the phone.

I have been a volunteer at Ashbrook Court Care Home for over 2 years. Ashbrook Court is a lovely care home, my aunt has been at Ashbrook Court for 3 years come this August and is very happy at Ashbrook Court (my aunt will be 103 this November).

Excellent care provided to my mother, who has been a resident for many years now. Lots for the residents to do pre-covid and they are now starting to get more entertainment back into the home as restrictions lift. Were very quick to protect the residents when the country became aware of covid and after
the first lockdown restrictions, when government rules dictated visits only at end of life or in an emergency, were eased they have maintained a good balance between protection of the residents and avoiding the 'abandonment syndrome' many elderly people have suffered from during the pandemic. Staff have been really caring and helpful throughout.

My brother has been treated extremely well, the staff are very attentive and caring and have met all the needs that he requires. I think the carers, nurses, admin, reception staff, and manager are absolutely lovely each time my family has been to the home. The home is bright, very clean, and most welcoming.
My brother is happy here which gives my family peace of mind.

Care at the home seems very good although I would like to see Mum included in more of the outings and events provided by the home. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy the few she has been included in. Her health has improved a lot since she has been at Ashbrook Court.

My mother has been a resident at Ashbrook for about 16 months, and her care has always been tailored to her exact needs. All the staff from the manager, through to the carers, nurses, and cleaning staff treat her with respect and like one of the family. There is always a wide programme of activities
even during the lockdown to stimulate their interests. Any maintenance issues are dealt with swiftly. Mum loves it.

When first visiting the care home a couple of years ago I knew it was the best place for my mother in law. It felt very warm and inviting like home from home. The staff and carers were friendly, helpful and made me and my mother in law feel welcome. The transition period was made very easy. Before covid,
I visited most days and never was I disappointed with the staff. They always bent over backwards to make the residents and families welcome. They always do activities and have wonderful entertainment pre covid. I couldn’t recommend them more. Also when talking to people and telling them where my mother in law is they tell me one of their family members used to go. Always speaking highly of Ashbrook.

I am so pleased that my mum is now a resident at Ashbrook Court. She moved there in March 2020 from another care home. It has been a difficult year for everyone because of Covid but it is such a relief to know that my mum is now being well cared for and looked after appropriately. The staff who look
after her have all been amazing. They are always positive, cheerful and very caring. I look forward to seeing photos of mum on Facebook enjoying the amazing entertainment and activities that are always going on. I would recommend Ashbrook Court to everyone and I am so happy and relieved that my mum is living there now.

Ashbrook staff have really gone out of their way to help settle my mum into care home life. They have quickly grasped her needs to ensure she receives the care she needs.
