At Ashbrook Court Care Home, the compassionate team cares for their cherished residents with the same love and tenderness as shown to their own family members. The home provides person-centred residential, nursing, and dementia care in a vibrant and homely environment.

The friendly home offers comfortable en-suite bedrooms, spacious lounges, as well as a bistro, library, salon, and vintage sweet shop, all laid out in an accessible building surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Ashbrook Court is dedicated to delivering high-quality care, to achieve this, the team undertakes extensive, ongoing training and professional development.

Residents are supported to try new activities and rediscover hobbies, whilst enjoying a range of opportunities from music and movement classes and make a wish initiative, to gardening club. Underpinned by strong links to the local community, Ashbrook Court welcomes regular performers, school groups, and toddlers as part of its ‘Little Cherubs’ intergenerational project. As well as enjoying regular minibus excursions to local places of interest.

And, with soothing lighting, aromatherapy, relaxing hand massages, and sound therapy, residents can experience multi-sensory relaxation as part of a group, or in the comfort of their own bedroom, during regular Namaste Care sessions.

I feel my uncle is well cared for and encouraged to participate in activities. The staff are always very friendly and tell me things my uncle has talked about when I go, I know he doesn't know me anymore, but I'm told when he does have a chat with someone he sometimes mentions me... he is often asleep
when I go. I like to look at the social media page and when I spot him enjoying baking or holding an animal it's so nice.

Ashbrook Court Care Home provides excellent care for my father, with dignity and respect. They show care, patience, empathy and understanding. The staff make him feel at ease and every staff member I've been in contact with has been supportive and helpful, including reception staff.

Ashbrook Court Care Home continues to be very supportive of my friend, who has significant mental health issues. Management and staff are attentive and patient. They also communicate well with me and answer queries very promptly. I am very happy with the care that my friend receives.

My mother has been here for around a year. Immediately I was struck by the training the staff have - they have excellent behaviour management skills and get quite a lot out of my mother, especially in terms of encouraging her to move, eat and socialise with others. They do keep a close eye on medical
issues and communicate effectively and clearly with the family. They have earned my trust and continue to do so on a daily basis. Notably, my mother struggled in other care homes due to her hallucinations and delusions which can cause her to be frightened and aggressive at times. Their person-centred care is second to none. Recently, the nurse put my mother on the phone to me as she was weepy. Mum actually said she would be okay because although she was sad today, the nurses were great and would let her just be sad if she wanted to be, would take care of her and wouldn't leave her alone. Honestly, that's the greatest vindication of our decision to have her live at Ashbrook Court Care Home.

The staff at Ashbrook Court Care Home are excellent and the care provided to my mum is superb.
Facilities within the home are very good. All of the areas are very clean and tidy. They have recently carried out some refurb work to brighten up some areas with fresh paint and flooring.

My mum has been at Ashbrook Court Care Home for about eighteen months and I can't praise the care staff enough. She has dementia but despite this, she has changed since going to Ashbrook Court in that she is happier and less distressed about everyday life. There are always activities and people of her
own age and similar issues. Again, thank you all at Ashbrook Court for your patience and loving care.

At Ashbrook Care Home the staff are both kind attentive as well as professional. I trust the team of carers to always have my father’s best interest heart. Equally, the team are quick to call me if there are any decisions to be made or if my father needs anything.

I have visited my sister regularly since she came in earlier this year and have found her care second to none. The staff are caring, friendly, professional and at all times attentive. The home is very clean with plenty for the residents to do if they so desire.

Unfortunately, I lost my amazing husband of 51 years last week. I couldn't have asked for a more caring passing. Staff were amazing, the head of nursing staff well what can I say, amazing, caring, going beyond the call of duty, in every way I would say 5-star. Can't thank her enough for all her guidance,
care, love. There is just not enough I can say to show how I feel about all the staff, thanking you all for caring for the love of my life in his final days. I would have always thought I would hate to go in a care home, not now, from this experience, I would be happy to be placed in one, thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

My Father has been a resident of the Ashbrook Court family for over 8 years. From the moment he arrived all those years ago, the staff have been amazing and treated him like part of the family. If it was not for the wonderful care that he received, I don't think he would have been alive today if he
stayed in his own home. I am forever grateful for that. My Dad loves it at the home. The staff take time to listen to him and attend to his needs. He goes out on trips in the minibus when he chooses and also the option to join in with activities within the home or to stay in his room. The food is of a wide variety and differing cuisines. He can choose what he wants to eat and the amount. He can also have more if so wishes. The staff in the home are very mindful of patients' safety and well-being and are fully up to date with training and protocols. I get regular updates and visiting is only restricted for safety reasons. The management and staff make it a wonderful Home for my dad to be.

My mother started a trial placement at Ashbrook in June following an awful time of hospitalisations and failed placements. In August our family was delighted when she was offered a permanent place. At Ashbrook she has been made to feel part of the family. The warmth and professionalism with which they
deliver their service is second to none. Ashbrook have managed to help mum to become more positive about life and has supported our family at such a difficult time. We can only thank the management and staff for everything they have done and continue to do.

This Care Home is exceptionally good, very compassionate staff who care deeply about each and every one of the residents. In addition to the great staff my Dad has a one-to-one who is also exceptional, the Care Home ensures that all one-to-ones are vetted and have their high standards of care. My family
are happy and can sleep at night knowing he is so well looked after. All of the above is great but what we like best is that the staff have taken the time to really get to know my Dad. They know he loves ice cream and has a sweet tooth, they know he can be stubborn - all this knowledge ensures he is cared for gently. We are so very lucky. Oh and the food, my Dad loves his food, it is very good at the home.

My Mum came for a three-week respite visit in November and decided to stay. She has found it understandably sad, even traumatic to say goodbye to her home. My sister and I visited Ashbrook Court before she went there. We felt it had a happy, homely atmosphere, was spotlessly clean and fresh and lots
of facilities for the residents to enjoy. I can honestly say the staff here have done everything they can to make our mum feel comfortable and at home. She has enjoyed day trips out and visits to the in-house hairdresser. Her room is well-furnished and pleasant. She had excellent attention from the nursing staff when she became poorly and is now well again. My family and I have peace of mind knowing our mum is very well looked after and we also have been made very welcome by the very kind and professional staff there.

My client has been a resident at Ashbrook for many years. Words cannot describe how much it benefits the family by knowing that she is being cared for and supported by Ashbrook staff. They go above and beyond with her. I know that they hold the utmost consideration and moral obligation to her. The work
that is done to assist her is essential and crucial to the whole family. I feel great comfort and reassurance from Ashbrook as I know that they have my client's and all residents' needs forefront. We are extremely grateful.

My Dad has been living at Ashbrook Court since September 2020. In the whole time he's been there I have been extremely impressed with the service, care, support, activities and love he receives as well as myself. I have full confidence and respect for the whole team and they are full of warmth, comfort
and attention to all the residents in my opinion. I feel that it is a true blessing that my Dad resides there, I simply can't praise Ashbrook Court enough. 5 stars and more! Thank you.

Mum has been a resident in Ashbrook for over 4 years now and I have been very pleased constantly with the care she is given. The building is always very clean and fresh. The carers are very attentive and kind. Staff are polite and very helpful and the management are always helpful and approachable.
I would recommend Ashbrook Court to anybody. I am constantly impressed with the home and staff.
