My wife received extraordinary care that was delivered with patience, warmth and kindness. As her disease progressed she was surrounded by people who treated her with affection & dignity. The dedication of all of the staff took things way beyond the daily routines of care and made her be seen and valued.
Thanks must be given for every moment of compassion and patience. I will always remember what you did for my wife with gratitude and heartfelt appreciation.

QEP helped us during a very difficult time, they welcomed Mum who was reluctant to stay initially. Mum settled well and began to really enjoy her stay. She could not compliment the staff at QEP highly enough and said not only do they care for you, they respect you and understand your needs. Mum enjoyed
it so much she has said she would happily stay there again, if the need arose.

Mum's first month in Heathfields.
The staff have been kind and understanding, getting mum to understand her new environment.
All staff are approachable if a question or issue arises, and respond positively.
There is always a good atmosphere when I visit, staff and residence are always positive and
friendly, apart from one of the (two) little dogs who live on site, who hates me and yaps at me until I pass by! I'm sure she is protecting the residence. Despite this, comes to visit my mum in her room on a regular basis witch my mum loves. Plenty of activities are provided, which family's are encouraged to join in, everybody is welcome.
We get a regular news letter. This highlights birthday parties, special events (BBQ etc) and when outside entertainers visit, to which all family members, carers etc are warmly invited. The manager runs a tight ship. She will regularly check in with you to ensure everything is satisfactory, but is also great fun! Very happy for mum to be here.

It was a very difficult decision for our family to move my husband to Acorn Court. He was very aware he wasn't living at home and didn't want to be there. The day to day life there is nice and relaxed but the staff are always aware of residents needs and difficulties. The staff work well as a team.
The food, entertainment and activities are extremely good. Every member of staff - reception team, activities team, maintenance, housekeeping, management, carers and nurses cared for my husband and us as a family in a warm, kind, professional, exemplary way. They listened to us with regard to my husband's care, were prompt in responding to anything we suggested to make his life more comfortable there. Sadly my husband passed away in Acorn Court, the sympathy, understanding, respect and dignity they afforded him throughout his last days there and after he passed away was heartwarming and very moving. When I left him I knew he was in excellent caring hands. Thank you to all at Acorn Court.

Heathfield Court is exceptional. Having experienced various care homes and being able to compare - Heathfield stands head and shoulders above the rest. My father began staying for week respite stays and became a full time resident, March 25. Having already experienced the home for respite, as a family
we wouldn't have seen him placed anywhere else. I can't praise the home highly enough. The staff all the way from Manager, to, receptionists, carers, nurses and house keeping are amazing - friendly, welcoming and professional. Rather than a care home they have created a home from home environment appreciated by residents and their families alike. The staff take time to know the residents and their families as individuals - it feels like an extended family and it goes such a long way to making the care journey that bit easier. The daily care is impeccable, and the effort to keep the residents stimulated with various activities/trips is commendable. Would without hesitation recommend.

I am delighted to have chosen Heathfield Court Care Home for my Father. It had been highly recommended to me by a friend as her Mother was a resident there. We have not been disappointed! It is the perfect place to live and receive care when living at home or alone is no longer an option. Every aspect
of care is given with kindness and consideration towards the user/resident. Heathfield is a wonderful community which has taken away the isolation and loneliness that appears in illness and advancing years by their in house activities and entertainment - there is something to do or see every day and it is lovely to see the friendships
Growing stronger day by day. My father is very happy there and I have no concerns over his care. I highly recommend Heathfield Court 10/10

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum was a resident of this home for a month of convalescence after a month in hospital. Right from the start the staff were friendly and caring and really went out of their way to make Mum feel at home. They reassured her that she should treat her stay as her home. She was quite poorly when she
first came, unable to stand or walk, but with their help and care after a month she was able to go back to her own home. There is a lovely atmosphere at Brooklands, and plenty of staff so there was always someone at hand to help or ask questions of. The food was lovely with plenty of choice. The activities looked varied and interesting, even though Mum only participated in a few. I cannot recommend Brooklands highly enough.

Claremont Court provides the most wonderful warm atmosphere. Its something that I am aware of every visit and it is something that all the friends and relatives comment on.
Each staff member addresses us by name, shares a greeting and a little chat.
The care and kindness shown to my husband is absolutely
exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble in their care for my husband and they are so tactful as he dislikes needing help from them.
The activities team use encouragement for my husband to participate with the activites and Namaste is such a positive thing.
The relatives all know how very difficult it is to look after people with dementia which is such a cruel disease.
I think we all feel so personally supported by both the staff and the management team.

Claremont Court Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My brother moved to Claremont Court back in December 2024 and throughout this time the care he has received has been excellent.

My brother is not the easiest resident - he has significant learning difficulties, dementia and cannot communicate in any way - but the team at Claremont treat him with

respect and care. And, no matter how much fuss he makes when he is receiving personal care, they always provide this with kindness. Moreover, the staff are fully aware that my brother is resistant to personal care, so two carers turn up to help him and get his changed and clean in a prompt and highly efficient way.

I have also been impressed with the way that they spot things like UTI's and get him treated and they way that they are able to ensure that he always takes his medicine, Prior to Claremont he was at another home, where the care was poor, resulting is missed medication which resulted in seizures and stays in hospital.

In short, I highly recommend Claremont Court.

My mother has been very well cared for at Claremont Court for more than three years. She was able to enjoy her birthday activity in October 2024, despite being very frail. Unfortunately, she can no longer take part in activities and is completely bed bound. The staff are kind and helpful and very professional
in their dealings with the residents and their families. My family and friends who have visited all comment on what a lovely place Claremont Court is, with a lovely atmosphere.

Friendly, helpful, caring staff working together as a team. Plenty of smiles! Management staff approachable and happy to discuss any general issues. Regular visits by GP who, together with nursing staff, keep us informed of any developments.
When selecting Claremont Court, we were advised the aim was
to make residents feel, as far as possible, like being at home. Not by chance, they achieve this in full measure.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
When my mother moved to The Spinney a year and a half ago her dementia had begun to take hold of her life and her mood was always, what can only be described as 'flat as a pancake'.
She was always a shy person and we were worried how she would cope with her new life.

However, from the day she moved

in the positive vibe of The Spinney started to work it's magic!
She received the most fantastic care from her carers. She engaged with the incredible varied activities programme. My mother loves the food (ate better than she had for decades) and really benefited from her private space (her spotless and pretty en suite room), the friendly lounge (which is a well designed) and the gorgeous garden. My mother is an animal lover and Ruby the cat senses this and sits on her lap when she is in the garden.
The combination of all these things means that my mother is now a genuinely relaxed and happy person. As a family we could not ask for more, and visiting her is always a pleasure.
