This care home is fabulous, I can't fault them. My friend has been a resident at Honey Lane for approx. 8 months now and has settled in very well. The staff are kind, caring and attentive. They provide lots of different activities for the residents (including outings in their minibus). They also set
up various events throughout the year where friends and families can join in. The manager is very hands on and holds regular family meeting where you can hear what's happening and give feedback.

This is undoubtedly (in my view) an exemplar of care homes. My sister is currently a resident and has been treated with empathy, kindness and professionalism at all times. . The home appears to be very well run, with staff clear of their responsibilities and always showing an enormous degree of kindness
and expert care. I feel that my sister is in safe environment and being cared for at the highest standard. When you do not live locally and can only visit once or twice a week that is extremely reassuring. The whole approach seems to me to be 'do as you would be done by' and staff appearing take into account individual needs of each resident and caring for them as if they are their own family. This is in my view an excellent and well run care home

Came to visit my mother with a friend. Staff very friendly, all acknowledge me with hellos and how are you. Mum was in the dining room talking to staff member and having afternoon tea & cake, with other residents on the table with her.
The home is clean, tidy and very homely. I was also offered tea
& cake. Mum had been out on a visit to a garden center, and the staff showed me photos they had taken.
Had to take some items to Mum's room which was very clean, tidy & homely.
After a lovely visit went down to reception, had a lovely cup of coffee and cake whilst having a nice talk with some of the staff about Mum.
Mum seems extremely happy and that's a great comfort to all the family

The care home regularly checks if the family is happy with Mum's care plan and activities that the care home provide. The events with live music and food is excellent. Mum was really happy at the Mother's Day afternoon tea party that the care home put on. She kept singing and dancing along to the music
in her seat. The care home really made it a special day for the residents and family. Mum is really happy at Honey Lane Care Home. All the carers work hard, and go above and beyond. The cooks provide the most amazing food, especially their cakes!!!

So friendly and understanding how my mum needed time to settle in and accept the transition from her home to the Spinney.
They've listened and arranged different meals for her without any fuss.
She's going on trips and joining in with activities that she would never have done previously.

Mum has been a resident for only a couple of months, but in that time she has settled easily into her new situation. All the staff, whatever their role within the home are caring and supportive of the residents, and who very quickly understood Mum's needs and ways to keep her relaxed and in good spirits
by involving her in the many and various in-house activities and trips to local places of interest.
That care and support also extends to the family members. Personally,I am greeted by name and more often than not, directed to where I'll find Mum in the home. This gives me the confidence that all staff have a degree of oversight and care for all residents. This in turn ensures any personal call alarm ,issue or problem is resolved very quickly.
Overall I and other family members are very happy with the care and respect and support Mum receives at the home.

Staff are very professional , helpful
Polite at all times
Keep me informed if there are any problems
The only complaint is to do with Laundry
My Sister seems to be wearing some body
else's clothes , even though hers have her
name in.
Reply from Angela Sacks, Home Manager at Honey Lane Care HomeThank you for your kind comments about our team and communication. We appreciate you raising your concern regarding laundry. In a dementia setting, residents can sometimes become attached to, or accidentally wear, another resident's clothing. Our priority is always to avoid causing distress, so where this happens, items are gently returned to their owner after laundering. We will of course however, continue to monitor labelling and laundry processes closely to minimise this as much as possible.

Heathfield Care Home is amazing! The staff are amazing. Their care for mum is amazing. We never thought mum would accept being in a home but she is so happy which is down to the staff and wonderful residents. The activities are pretty special, the home is spotlessly clean, the staff are friendlty,
helpful and brilliant. The managers should be recognised for running a beautiful home

My relative was resident at Bramley Court for his final 30 months. The nursing care he received was outstanding. I cannot speak highly enough of all the fantastic staff who treated him with the greatest dignity and respect in the full understanding of his specific needs, wishes and fun he liked to enjoy.
Knowing that my precious relative would say to me that "he could not have chosen anywhere better to be cared for" was a true comfort together with the way in which I was kept fully informed of my relative's health situation and all of the courteous care shown towards me throughout. With a heartfelt sincere thank you to everyone who will always remain my dear Bramley Court Family.

All the staff in all areas are kind and attentive. The rooms are kept spotless. The food is of very high quality, especially the luxurious desserts. My mother is very fussy and likes routine. The staff acknowledge this and my mother is very settled and her anxiety levels are kept low. The home has nice
views from the rooms. The home is readily accessible by all forms of transport.

My mother was resident of Bridge House April 2025 -April 2026. At first she was in very poor health, but with nursing care she made good recovery.
Initially a poor joiner-in, with staff encouragement she became really quite active in the less strenuous of the numerous activities on offer such as
animal therapies, crafts, music and would show enthusiasm and interest
in what was coming up and despite being confined to a wheelchair took advantage of quite a few outings.
I have nothing but praise for the politeness and friendliness of all staff I had dealings with. Should I have any questions or concerns I felt well able to approach anyone and if they were unable to fully answer, they made it their business to steer me towards somebody who could. They all seemed prepared to go above and beyond!
Sadly, my mother passed away April 2026, but the care she received right until the end was a credit to all the team at Bridge House.

The staff are very caring and seem to know my father well. They go above and beyond to ensure he is supported, cared for and communicated with. They outline what is happening each day for him and this has enabled him to settle.
Staff communicate brilliantly with the family. This reassures the family.
We know what is happening and conversely if we wish to speak to a staff member with a query this is dealt with quickly and effectively.
Our experience with Heathfield Court is excellent! We consider Heathfield Court a home from home for our father!

Cannot recommend Heathfield highly enough. The team go above and beyond to provide excellent, considerate, sensitive care and do so with the most positive attitude imaginable. They are genuinely wonderful in every way.
The manager and her team go out of their way to make Heathfield a welcoming place
for family and friends of residents to visit with many invitations to join special events or celebrations, which are always thoughtfully managed.

I cannot praise Claremont Court enough, each department excels. Their understanding of Dementia and therefore the support their residents need (and relatives of those residents) cannot be underestimated. Knowing mum is safe, treated with dignity and respect, is well cared for and content in her home
is all our family could hope for.
Having had experience of other nursing homes, I can confidently and honestly say that Claremont Court is best in class.
