Nikki and her lovely team are lifesavers. It's hard to find the words to say how much we appreciate the kindness and care they are giving my dad and the support to us . It was the most heartbreaking decision to have to look for care for my dad but dementia didn't give us a choice. We never thought we'd find anywhere that we would feel confident and comfortable to leave our precious dad but Heathfield court is flipping amazing. Dad looks happy settled and comfortable he's treated with respect and dignity and that is so reassuring to us as a family . My mum gets to have a life again and enjoy being with us all without the guilt. If you find yourself in this awful situation looking for help for your loved ones I cannot recommend this care home enough. Thank you Nikki you are angel

Heathfield Care Home is amazing! The staff are amazing. Their care for mum is amazing. We never thought mum would accept being in a home but she is so happy which is down to the staff and wonderful residents. The activities are pretty special, the home is spotlessly clean, the staff are friendlty, helpful and brilliant. The managers should be recognised for running a beautiful home

I live well over one hundred miles from Heathjfield Court Care Home. Therefore, I'm 100% reliant on the staff caring for my aunt.

Myself and my aunt have no complaints what-so-ever regarding her care.

The staff are very caring and seem to know my father well. They go above and beyond to ensure he is supported, cared for and communicated with. They outline what is happening each day for him and this has enabled him to settle.
Staff communicate brilliantly with the family. This reassures the family. We know what is happening and conversely if we wish to speak to a staff member with a query this is dealt with quickly and effectively.

Our experience with Heathfield Court is excellent! We consider Heathfield Court a home from home for our father!

Cannot recommend Heathfield highly enough. The team go above and beyond to provide excellent, considerate, sensitive care and do so with the most positive attitude imaginable. They are genuinely wonderful in every way.

The manager and her team go out of their way to make Heathfield a welcoming place for family and friends of residents to visit with many invitations to join special events or celebrations, which are always thoughtfully managed.

Mum has been very well cared for at Heathfield. Despite her being unable to join in the numerous activities on offer, she is always included. Staff greet her with kindness and respect at all times. Dad and I visited lots of other care homes, none of them came close to matching the support, care and ratio of staff to residents, particularly for those living with Dementia. Personally, the one word that sticks in my mind in relation to Heathfield is joy. It's not a place of sadness. It could be, like so many others are, but it's far from that. Activity planning keeps residents stimulated, events bring the community and families in. It's a place of celebration at what is for some of us, a very sad and difficult time.

Our mother has been at Heathfield Court, Erith for 2 and a half years.

She is treated with dignity, love, warmth and kindness by all staff.

My sister and I could not ask for a better care home for mum, they meet all her needs and beyond.

They are all professionals in their daily task as well as loving towards all residents as thought it's their own loved ones.

Thank you to all at Heathfield Court Erith.

My father has had several bouts of illness requiring emergency A&E admittance and the staff at Heathfield have been amazing in looking after him and arranging for an ambulance and crew to check him over and transport him to hospital as and when necessary. The staff are kind , caring and professional and I feel secure in the knowledge that his needs are being identified and taken care of as a matter of urgency. 5 Stars.

Since my Aunt and mother have been resident at Heathfield we have been very happy with the care provided. We have been impressed with the friendly staff and the variety of activities provided. They have also been very supportive to the family at a difficult time.

When we had to travel to hospital to transfer my aunt to the home Nikki the home Manager arranged for a member of staff to accompany my husband when we collected her.

As always staff care for mum and dad and their differing needs and some staff go above and beyond to ensure that they all their needs are met. However sometimes communication isn't clear and messages about medical information etc isn't always noted and shared appropriately, and therefore not always acted upon. But overall very happy with the care and atmosphere at Heathfield which means that we know that they are comfortable and safe,

My dad has been at this care home for just over a year, and the difference it has made to his wellbeing is remarkable. The staff are consistently kind, patient, and genuinely caring-nothing ever seems too much trouble. The home is clean, welcoming, and feels very safe. Dad is given the opportunity to join in with activities when he chooses too. Communication with our family has been excellent; we're always kept updated and feel involved. Knowing he's in such good hands gives us real peace of mind. I'm very grateful for the care and respect they show him every day, always keeping his dignity in mind.

My precious Mum has lived contentedly at Heathfield Court since early April 2024. Family are so grateful that Mum has always been loved and cared for outstandingly well, just as me and my husband had always strived to give her. The amazing Manager and her entire team meet my high standards of care for Mum's complete wellbeing, allowing me to spend irreplaceable quality time with my Mum, enjoying each others company, in a relaxing environment. The Manager, Staff, Residents have become our extended family as they give Mum and me the support we need, that is missing from parts of family; so they all mean a lot. Heathfield has become a second home, warm, loving, and always much wanted, whether visiting early, late, day or night, you'll feel the same and see the professionalism. Nothing is for show, it is, as it is, truly is, outstanding care, support for Mum's every need, mine and family to. I have recommended, will continue to do so, it is the best, because they care from the heart. x

Mum's first month in Heathfields.
The staff have been kind and understanding, getting mum to understand her new environment.
All staff are approachable if a question or issue arises, and respond positively.
There is always a good atmosphere when I visit, staff and residence are always positive and friendly, apart from one of the (two) little dogs who live on site, who hates me and yaps at me until I pass by! I'm sure she is protecting the residence. Despite this, comes to visit my mum in her room on a regular basis witch my mum loves. Plenty of activities are provided, which family's are encouraged to join in, everybody is welcome.

We get a regular news letter. This highlights birthday parties, special events (BBQ etc) and when outside entertainers visit, to which all family members, carers etc are warmly invited. The manager runs a tight ship. She will regularly check in with you to ensure everything is satisfactory, but is also great fun! Very happy for mum to be here.

Heathfield Court is exceptional. Having experienced various care homes and being able to compare - Heathfield stands head and shoulders above the rest. My father began staying for week respite stays and became a full time resident, March 25. Having already experienced the home for respite, as a family we wouldn't have seen him placed anywhere else. I can't praise the home highly enough. The staff all the way from Manager, to, receptionists, carers, nurses and house keeping are amazing - friendly, welcoming and professional. Rather than a care home they have created a home from home environment appreciated by residents and their families alike. The staff take time to know the residents and their families as individuals - it feels like an extended family and it goes such a long way to making the care journey that bit easier. The daily care is impeccable, and the effort to keep the residents stimulated with various activities/trips is commendable. Would without hesitation recommend.

Nikki MartinJob Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2023

Nikki began her inspirational career in care back in 1988 and joined Heathfield Court as a senior carer in 2018, a year after we opened. Showing a natural flair for person-centred care, Nikki’s talent was quickly recognised, as she progressed to a team leader, then later head of care.

Nikki’s dedication, passion and unwavering ability to bring joy to others, shone through year after year, and it wasn’t long before she took on the role of deputy manager. She even chose to move into Heathfield Court during the early days of the pandemic, to provide care and reassurance to our residents and wider team.

A graduate of our Management Academy, Nikki excelled in our training programme for aspiring leaders in 2021. Throughout this time, she was personally mentored by Carebase business manager and former home manager Gina Kitchenham. Nikki became Heathfield Court’s registered home manager in 2023.

Nikki shares that: “The best part of my job is making the residents laugh and providing them with the best possible experiences in the later part of their life. That’s what makes me happy.”

When she isn’t with her Heathfield family, Nikki likes to spend time with her husband Pat and grandchildren, Khloe, 13, and Finley, 6, as well as enjoying time with her son, Thomas, and daughter Stacey – who also works at Heathfield as our receptionist!
