My mum became a resident at Ashbrook Court Care Home in July 2026. My mum is coming towards the end of her life, the staff at Ashbrook are amazing, they all care so much and ensure there is constant communication with the family centred around my mums well being. Ashbrook Court is such a loving well led nursing home and I would fully recommend. The staff are warm and friendly and they have made the transition from the community into nursing care so easy for my mum.

My brother received a very high standard of care whilst at Ashbrook Care Home. The facilities are amazing, the food a very high standard and always plentiful. The staff treated my brother with care and compassion. He wasn't always the easiest person to deal with and the staff were incredibly patient and understanding with him. They were always respectful of him, allowing him to make his own choices. There are always activities and days out no matter the weather. I honestly cannot fault the home or the staff. Myself and my family are so grateful to everyone at Ashbrook for helping to care for my brother. Thank you all!!

So much has changed for my mother in a positive way since becoming a resident at Ashbrook.

My mum was only with you for a short period but from day of admission the staff where very passionate and caring. They took very good care of my mum and we also found staff sitting with mum when she was not well. When mum become very unwell and passed away all the staff made all the family welcome and supported us at a very hard time

Alderwood provides excellent care for my mother. She is always well dressed, and in good spirit whenever I come to see her. Alderwood organise excellent activities for the residents and mum enjoys partaking in all the fun. Very good communication with relatives in regards to mum's health and any issues have been dealt with very satisfactorily. I have no issues with the care provided

The atmosphere is homely rather than clinical . Knowing my loved one is in such a safe, caring, and supportive environment has brought me immense peace of mind.

Our father has complex needs, and the journey to finding the right care for him has been an incredibly challenging and emotional time for us as a family. This care home was recommended to us, and I can now completely understand why. From the moment he arrived, the care and compassion shown by the entire team have been exceptional on every level. Above all else, the priority has always been, and will always be, our father's dignity, welfare and quality of life. Nikki and Leanne in particular have far exceeded our expectations. They have provided an extraordinary level of personalised care that genuinely mirrors the kind of care and attention he would receive at home. Their patience, understanding and willingness to go above and beyond have meant more to our family than I can adequately express. The words I would use to describe the home are patient-centred, holistic and family-oriented. You are all a breath of fresh air to us as a family. My forever thanks

When looking around Cherry Wood Grange in Chelmsford, the staff said they "work in your home," and now that my Uncle lives there, I get what they mean. Before moving in, he was at home and constantly in and out of hospital. Since being there, he has not once needed to go back. His health has improved, he looks a lot better, and he is actually smiling again. It feels like a real community. All the residents look happy and well cared for. There are daily activities and trips out, so people aren't just left sitting alone in their rooms. The care staff are fantastic. All his needs, including medical needs, are met and medication is always on time. He looks well-kept and clean, and so do the other residents. Every member of staff, from catering to cleaners, are outstanding. They listen to him and treat him like a person, not an old man. You can visit whenever you want without restrictions. Family are always made welcome, his privacy is respected, and it is a joy to go there.

This home is filled with such love and caring from the staff. My mums a different person since she has been there. She was struggling before living alone and at 92 years old needed 24 hour care. I have watched the light come back into mums eyes and the weight of worry lifted from her shoulders since she has been a resident.. My mum's choice to go into care and she comes first as long as she is happy it's the main thing. I would recommend this home for anyone's loved one.

I couldn't think of any other Care home that I would want my mum to be.

My mum has been in honey lane care home since the beginning of the year and she is very happy there. The staff are so lovely and caring, kind and respectful. It's a very cheerful place with lots going on, the food and facilities are first class, and us family are very grateful that mums being very well cared for and most importantly, she loves being there.

The residents are further supported by regular and varied activities, appropriate for different skill levels and interests.

It took just 1 week to get my wife assest and in her room at Ashbrook. From the moment she arrived we felt the love everyone so kind & welcoming to residents, family & friends

From the day myself and my brother came in to view the home which was Feb 2026, Vicky the home manager took us under her wing, consoled us and helped us navigate a new chapter in Mum's life. The Staff always take good care, emotionally, mentally and physically. The communication with myself and staff is fantastic, any changes, needs medically or not are always relayed. The staff are well looked after by management and that's then passed onto the Residents. The only negative is the food could be better, plenty of choice, however quality could improve.

I can't explain how happy we are that we chose Cherry wood Grange from the day my father in law arrived in 2025 to now (July 2026) the support he has received has been impeccable, he has completely thrived since being in here. He was so frail when he arrived now he is healthy and so so happy here. He is completely at ease here and loves being here. The staff are not actually like staff, but more like friends + family. I honestly can't thank them all enough.

I transferred my aunt to Alderwood from another care home. I cannot recommend the care home highly enough. All staff really do go the extra mile to ensure residents are happy and feel cared for and I have seen so many examples of this in the short time my aunt has been there. It clearly sets the benchmark for all others.

My mum has received caring care throughout her stay. All staff know mums likes and dislikes and show lots of consideration when mums having a wobbly. Just want to thank Ashbrooks for all their support through this process. P.S - she also likes the food xx

I am happy with the family atmosphere in the care home. My husband is living his best life considering his health. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to give us both support. I visit my husband 5 days a week so I get a good overall view.

This care home is fabulous, I can't fault them. My friend has been a resident at Honey Lane for approx. 8 months now and has settled in very well. The staff are kind, caring and attentive. They provide lots of different activities for the residents (including outings in their minibus). They also set up various events throughout the year where friends and families can join in. The manager is very hands on and holds regular family meeting where you can hear what's happening and give feedback.
