Queen Elizabeth Park Private Care Home

Mum has been in the QEP for over two and a half years. She is always treated with respect and kindness and staff willingly make the time to update me or listen to any concerns. The activities are outstanding, the home is very well cared for, clean and inviting and overall it is very well managed. The
amount of effort put in to celebrate festivals and seasons of the year is truly exceptional .The team have made an effort to adapt to mum's individual needs, and as she has got older and less inclined to join in activities, have tried to have someone sit with her in her room, as much as time allows. Week-ends sometimes seem quiet with less staff around or on call, and Mum sometimes finds this quite difficult. This may be different on first and second floors. Overall I would highly recommend the QEP. There can always be times when things are not quite perfect but the ethos of the home and genuine caring attitude of all the staff is always present. Thank you.

My mother has been at QEP now for a little over 3 years and I am still delighted with the level of care she is receiving. The staff are second to none in their dedication and kindness - and go out of their way to make the residents quality of life as good as humanly possible. I would definitely recommend
this care home.

I have responsded to this questionnaire in my capacity as power of attorney for my friend. She has been very well cared for during her 4 years at Queen Elizabeth Park. She is happy, treated with respect and is an active participant in the Homes entertainment programme.

Great care home. They look after my mother who is a very frail 90+ lady with dementia. She is safe, well looked after by a great team. I visit regularly to see the home is warm, clean and a happy place.

We are very happy with the care my mum is receiving at Acorn Court. The nurses and care staff together with the management team are very caring and attentive and mum is happy and has a good relationship with them. They are always ready to listen to concerns that you may have and do what they can to
address any worries or issues.

From the moment our mother moved in, we felt reassured that she was in the right place. The home is always beautifully clean, warm and welcoming, but it is the people who truly make it special. The team are kind, patient and compassionate, and their professionalism and knowledge - especially in caring
for those living with dementia - shines through every day.

What means the most to us is seeing how happy our mother is. She tells us she feels safe, cared for and at home, and hearing that brings us enormous comfort. There is always something for the residents to enjoy, with thoughtful activities that bring joy, purpose and connection. Knowing that she is surrounded by people who genuinely care has given our whole family real peace of mind, and for that we are deeply grateful.

Acorn Court is an incredible little community not far from Redhill that deserves all the praise and recognition it gets and more. Not only do they take incredible care of their residents but their family members too. My sister and I often get a hug from the staff when we are there! They organise so
much to keep the residents happy, it's so lovely. I cannot recommend Acorn Court highly enough

My mum has been a resident at Queen Elizabeth Park since April 2024. Mum has dementia and, due to mobility issues, is in a wheelchair. Her care needs are extensive, all of Mum's care needs are met with kindness, dignity and compassion. The designated nurse is always available and will give regular updates
on Mum's health and wellbeing. The whole team at QEP are absolutely lovely. The daily activities and entertainment are second to none. As a regular visitor, I witness first hand how truly amazing all of the staff are with the residents. It's a real home from home. I cannot speak more highly of QEP and I recommend this home. A real gem/

My Dad has been staying at Acorn Court for nearly 18 months. Throughout this period, I have been consistently impressed by the professionalism and kindness of staff, who have tried their best to meet his needs. Because there is a stable team at Acorn Court, we have been able to get to know the staff
who regularly care for Dad, this has given me peace of mind and I am confident that he is well cared for. Dad often gets frustrated about his situation, but when I visit, all I see is people trying to do their best for him, within the given circumstances.

My mum started living at Claremont in August 2025.
It is a very difficult decision to make putting a relative in a home. Difficult knowing when is the best time and where is the best place. I feel after 3 months I can reflect.
I have nothing but the highest praise for Claremont. From day one ( in
fact before day 1 as Karen visited mum in hospital) the care and respect shown to my mum and myself has been outstanding. I visit a few times a week so I see the warmth and enthusiasm that all the staff exude all the time. I have complete peace of mind that mum is safe, content and happy. I feel she has a new lease of life.

My wife arrived at Claremont in April 2024, having transferred from a care home who were unable to provide the required level of care.
It is immediately obvious that Claremont offers and delivers something special to their residents. In addition, they realise the importance of keeping the resident's
family fully informed of all aspects relating to the individual's care.
Medical issues receive prompt attention and the necessary action.
On every visit to Claremont, you are aware of and witness the care and kindness shown by all the staff towards every resident. Family and visiting friends remark on the dedicated care so professionally provided, always with a smile.
I and my family, are so fortunate to have found Claremont and so, so, relieved to know that my wife is receiving and benefiting from the exceptional care provided.
We are fortunate to have the support of our immediate and extended family and friends. We consider all at Claremont friends and part of that extended family.

My father has been living at Claremont Court for almost 2 years now. His care has always been excellent and it's evolving as his condition changes which is because the team always monitor him and adapt his needs, activities and medication as necessary. The therapy really helps with his Parkinsons
and he always enjoys the special days such as the Summer Fair. Everything is above and beyond expectations.

My dad had very demanding needs and challenging behaviour when he first moved here from another care home. Since then he is calm, settled and happy. You can see that he is very well cared for. The staff are all amazing! They are extremely friendly, caring, professional, gentle, patient and lovely individuals.
The home is great but it's the staff that truly make it amazing.

I can't praise the Claremont team highly enough. My mother-in-law sadly died after a short stay in the home. During her time she was treated with compassion, dignity and attentiveness to her needs. As a family, we were regularly updated about her condition. After she died, her three daughters and
we husbands were allocated the Family Room , undisturbed, for as long as we needed. Staff briefed us clearly and kindly on the necessary steps. All staff smiled and greeted whenever we met. The home was nicely decorated, the rooms fine and great thought put into the stimulation of the residents. We were so pleased she ended her life in this peaceful and calming environment.

My father was in Queen Elizabeth Park for only one month. However, I felt we were treated like part of the family very quickly and felt dad was known and settled very seen after moving in. Dad's health deteriorated very quickly, sadly, but he was treated with compassion and care. Every effort was made
to make him comfortable in his last fortnight, and I was enormously well supported too. QUP provided a lovely family birthday event and enabled dad to fulfil a wish tree wish in his last few days, and I am very grateful to all who supported us both.
