I cannot praise Claremont Court enough, each department excels. Their understanding of Dementia and therefore the support their residents need (and relatives of those residents) cannot be underestimated. Knowing mum is safe, treated with dignity and respect, is well cared for and content in her home
is all our family could hope for.
Having had experience of other nursing homes, I can confidently and honestly say that Claremont Court is best in class.

My mother's needs are met and her views respected. She is safe and content and is treated with much care, love and dignity. The staff greet relatives like friends and in fact all staff have become part of an extended family.

Claremont Court Care Home

Mum moved to Claremont Court in January with all the typical challenging quirks of dementia. Sadly, she endured being moved in and out of two previous care homes as they were unable to meet her needs. Claremont Court took every one of her challenging behaviours in their stride - they invested time to
learn about Mum's likes, dislikes and triggers. Vitally, every carer knows to adjust THEIR responses rather than expecting an elderly lady with dementia to adjust HERS. They have monitored and altered Mum's medication (actually reducing some medication which the previous home had ramped up in order to make Mum easier for them to look after).
Visiting Mum has become less stressful, it used to be distressing for her and me. I am safe in the knowledge that I can trust Claremont Court with her care. On good days, I even manage to catch glimpses of my dear old Mum as I used to know her.

Claremont court was recommended to us by a friend, making the decision to put my mother into a home was very difficult but the home manager and her staff made us feel very confidant that we were making the right decision.
They are so kind and caring and provide such a high level of care that we don't
worry about mum now, we know she is looked after and supported but also still encouraged to participate in the huge amount of activities that the home organises.
What has struck all of my family is that whatever time of day you go and visit, every staff member from the nurses to the cleaners to the hairdresser know who mum is and where she is.
As mums health declines we are constantly kept up to date with doctors visits and new care plans or strategies.
The home is always spotless and well maintained and there is always music on or an activity to join. It is a lovely place to be with mum.

We wanted to write to you to express our utmost gratitude for taking care of my father in law in his final days. We know you only had him for less than 48 hours but we felt sure that he knew he was being cared for in the most professional and caring way possible. There was nothing you wouldn't do for
him and you took great care of us too. We know that you pride yourself on providing a home from home atmosphere and we felt you certainly did that. Thank you. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
All of your staff were so kind, with everyone of them greeting us or giving final farewells to the family. That doesn't happen without great leadership and staff feeling valued.
We, as a family, would highly recommend this lovely caring Acorn Court Care Home.

Acorn Court Care Home

It was a big decision choosing a care home for a dear friend, and we are very thankful we found Acorn Court.

This modern, accessible building houses an incredibly professional, dedicated and caring team.

The management is seriously impressive - great communicators who helped us navigate the complexities

of the care system and funding options during a very difficult time. We remain immensely grateful.

The senior nursing team is superb and the level of communication excellent. They always took the time to explain what was happening, our options and decisions that had to be made. That caring ethos is evident throughout the staff - everybody we met over the weeks went about their work with a calm and caring professionalism.

Sadly our friend passed away shortly after and Acorn Court again supported us through the process, combining their knowledge with tenderness and respect.

The level of care and support provided is outstanding throughout.

Thank you Acorn Court.

My brother, for whom I hold Power of Attorney, has been a resident for almost a year and I am so pleased with our choice of home. The staff are very professional but also friendly, kind and compassionate. He has dementia but the staff always treat him with dignity and respect.
QEP has a very happy,
homely feel and visitors are always warmly welcomed with a smile.

Mum has been in the QEP for over two and a half years. She is always treated with respect and kindness and staff willingly make the time to update me or listen to any concerns. The activities are outstanding, the home is very well cared for, clean and inviting and overall it is very well managed. The
amount of effort put in to celebrate festivals and seasons of the year is truly exceptional .The team have made an effort to adapt to mum's individual needs, and as she has got older and less inclined to join in activities, have tried to have someone sit with her in her room, as much as time allows. Week-ends sometimes seem quiet with less staff around or on call, and Mum sometimes finds this quite difficult. This may be different on first and second floors. Overall I would highly recommend the QEP. There can always be times when things are not quite perfect but the ethos of the home and genuine caring attitude of all the staff is always present. Thank you.

My mother has been at QEP now for a little over 3 years and I am still delighted with the level of care she is receiving. The staff are second to none in their dedication and kindness - and go out of their way to make the residents quality of life as good as humanly possible. I would definitely recommend
this care home.

From the moment our mother moved in, we felt reassured that she was in the right place. The home is always beautifully clean, warm and welcoming, but it is the people who truly make it special. The team are kind, patient and compassionate, and their professionalism and knowledge - especially in caring
for those living with dementia - shines through every day.

What means the most to us is seeing how happy our mother is. She tells us she feels safe, cared for and at home, and hearing that brings us enormous comfort. There is always something for the residents to enjoy, with thoughtful activities that bring joy, purpose and connection. Knowing that she is surrounded by people who genuinely care has given our whole family real peace of mind, and for that we are deeply grateful.

Acorn Court is an incredible little community not far from Redhill that deserves all the praise and recognition it gets and more. Not only do they take incredible care of their residents but their family members too. My sister and I often get a hug from the staff when we are there! They organise so
much to keep the residents happy, it's so lovely. I cannot recommend Acorn Court highly enough

My mum has been a resident at Queen Elizabeth Park since April 2024. Mum has dementia and, due to mobility issues, is in a wheelchair. Her care needs are extensive, all of Mum's care needs are met with kindness, dignity and compassion. The designated nurse is always available and will give regular updates
on Mum's health and wellbeing. The whole team at QEP are absolutely lovely. The daily activities and entertainment are second to none. As a regular visitor, I witness first hand how truly amazing all of the staff are with the residents. It's a real home from home. I cannot speak more highly of QEP and I recommend this home. A real gem/
