Queen Elizabeth Park provides residential, nursing and dementia care with love and kindness, treating residents as the individuals that they are.

Following personalised care plans designed to meet the individual needs of each resident, the team strives to provide the reassurance that your loved one is being cared for by a team you can trust and rely on. They work hard to involve friends and family in everyday life at the home too.

The home organises a calendar of meaningful activities to suit all tastes and abilities, to support residents’ overall health and wellbeing; from themed parties to choir practice, to djembe drumming and art tutorials, as well as welcoming visits from local musicians, performers, artists and schoolchildren. Residents also enjoy regular days out on the minibus to local places of interest, and cultivate connections with local mum and toddler playgroups, charity partners, and cultural institutions.

Set over three-floors, the friendly, yet peaceful home is surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. It features bright and airy lounges, comfortable dining rooms, a bustling bistro, in addition to a library, salon and cinema.

Queen Elizabeth Park has received Highly Commended at the South East Great British Care Awards 2025 in the Care Home Team award category and at the Surrey Care Awards 2024 for Team of the Year. They are proudly part of the UK's Top 20 Mid-Sized Care Home Group 2025 by carehome.co.uk, as rated by residents and their loved ones.

My brother, for whom I hold Power of Attorney, has been a resident for almost a year and I am so pleased with our choice of home. The staff are very professional but also friendly, kind and compassionate. He has dementia but the staff always treat him with dignity and respect.

QEP has a very happy,

homely feel and visitors are always warmly welcomed with a smile.

My husband has been looked after by QEP for many years but I just want to record how wonderful his last few days have been. He died in the care of staff on the second floor and it was such a calm and caring couple of days for him and me.

Mum has been in the QEP for over two and a half years. She is always treated with respect and kindness and staff willingly make the time to update me or listen to any concerns. The activities are outstanding, the home is very well cared for, clean and inviting and overall it is very well managed. The
amount of effort put in to celebrate festivals and seasons of the year is truly exceptional .The team have made an effort to adapt to mum's individual needs, and as she has got older and less inclined to join in activities, have tried to have someone sit with her in her room, as much as time allows. Week-ends sometimes seem quiet with less staff around or on call, and Mum sometimes finds this quite difficult. This may be different on first and second floors. Overall I would highly recommend the QEP. There can always be times when things are not quite perfect but the ethos of the home and genuine caring attitude of all the staff is always present. Thank you.

My mother has been at QEP now for a little over 3 years and I am still delighted with the level of care she is receiving. The staff are second to none in their dedication and kindness - and go out of their way to make the residents quality of life as good as humanly possible. I would definitely recommend
this care home.

My mum has been a resident at Queen Elizabeth Park since April 2024. Mum has dementia and, due to mobility issues, is in a wheelchair. Her care needs are extensive, all of Mum's care needs are met with kindness, dignity and compassion. The designated nurse is always available and will give regular updates
on Mum's health and wellbeing. The whole team at QEP are absolutely lovely. The daily activities and entertainment are second to none. As a regular visitor, I witness first hand how truly amazing all of the staff are with the residents. It's a real home from home. I cannot speak more highly of QEP and I recommend this home. A real gem/

My father was in Queen Elizabeth Park for only one month. However, I felt we were treated like part of the family very quickly and felt dad was known and settled very seen after moving in. Dad's health deteriorated very quickly, sadly, but he was treated with compassion and care. Every effort was made
to make him comfortable in his last fortnight, and I was enormously well supported too. QUP provided a lovely family birthday event and enabled dad to fulfil a wish tree wish in his last few days, and I am very grateful to all who supported us both.

The care home was extremely welcoming from the minute I arrived, throughout. The staff were kind and friendly making me feel actually cared for especially being transferred from the nearest hospital. Having such peace of mind I joined in as many activities as I wanted - again very enjoyable. I intend
spending all periods of respite here in the future. Activities offered were wide ranging. 'flew by' and were thoroughly enjoyed by all taking part. Whatever reason they had for being there. Clinical or social.

QEP helped us during a very difficult time, they welcomed Mum who was reluctant to stay initially. Mum settled well and began to really enjoy her stay. She could not compliment the staff at QEP highly enough and said not only do they care for you, they respect you and understand your needs. Mum enjoyed
it so much she has said she would happily stay there again, if the need arose.

Cannot fault the home in any way, staff very friendly, management always there, the home is always clean and smells clean. Food choices always offered to my mum and when I visit I am always offered. I feel as I am visiting my mum at home as such a homely environment. My mum had a wish made come true,
by attending her granddaughter's wedding. Outstanding home - would very much recommend.

My mother was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Nursing Home in January 2022 with dreadful level 4 bed sores and a contracted leg. She was mostly bedbound but put into a wheelchair to go to bingo etc. which she loved. The nurses and carers at the home got rid of her bed sores completely they were amazing
(apparently it is almost impossible to help level 4 sores). The overall care my mum got was second to none, she had her nails done, made bracelets, saw animals including owls (which she loved) in her room! My mum was very happy there I am so thankful to the whole team. Thank you so much.

She loved all the activities available and took part in most.

My Mum is having some respite care after falling and breaking her hip in January.
She is being well cared for and the staff are all very kind and friendly.
She has enjoyed joining in some of the activities when she has felt well enough to do so. She has found some days that the food choices are
not to her taste and the nights are quite noisy with buzzers waiting to be answered.
But overall she is happy and would choose Queen Elizabeth Park again if needed.

My father has been at QEP for a couple of months. He is wheelchair bound, catheterised and has very limited sight. For the first few weeks he was quite agitated in his new surroundings and it took him a while to get used to new staff helping him. But now he does seem more settled and in fact has gained
some weight which is encouraging.
The staff caring for him seem really friendly and kind and they really try and get him involved in the activities - most of which he does seem to enjoy even though he sometimes falls asleep in them.
At weekends there seem to be less activities and maybe this is something that could be improved on? When I run out of conversation during visits, we love doing crosswords together. Could the ones available in the bistro area be "updated" more frequently please? I try and remember to bring one or two with me but I often forget so having more of a choice available would be helpful.
Overall I am very pleased with the care my father is receiving.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.730) out of 10 for Queen Elizabeth Park Private Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 32 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 32 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.730 for Queen Elizabeth Park Private Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (294 Excellents x 5) + (73 Goods x 4) + (15 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 382 Ratings = 4.73
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Queen Elizabeth Park Private Care Home is based on 32 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 77 registered maximum number of service users is 15.4, which has been reached with 32 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
