Queen Elizabeth Park Private Care Home

Each area of the home that is accessible to my sister is welcoming and shared by all the residents. I have freedom to visit her anytime. Most of all, the staff love working there and the atmosphere is a happy one.

When a loved one requires care it can be extremely stressful and bewildering. Heather (QEP Manager) was an incredible support from Day 1, over and above anything I could have hoped for. Mum stayed at QEP for respite on a number of occasions before she finally moved in as a full time resident. My experience with all staff at QEP has been nothing short of exceptional. Reception staff always greet you with a warm welcome and are always happy to help. The care staff and nurses have not only taken fantastic care of mum but have built relationships and become friends who she looks forward to seeing and talking to on a daily basis. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at QEP for your efforts, we appreciate you all!

After my mum was kicked out of the last care home , due to being virtually on palliative care. The whole team at Queen Elizabeth Park have turned this all around. My mum is now thriving in their care. I really can't fault Queen Elizabeth Park. Everyone is friendly and caring. It is a joy now to visit my mum in there, and they have always welcomed me and my family. Management are also very friendly and helpful. I only wish I knew of them sooner. In my opinion 5 stars are not enough, they are all amazing. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you for caring for my mum!!!!

After a negative experience with a care home for my dad, I was very hesitant but I had nothing to be worried about. The love, care and support you showed my mum + the family was second to none. You cared for her like she was family even after her passing. I wish all care homes were like you.

I visit my friend 2 times a week, the last visit being 26.06.2026. As always a lovely welcome. Passing each member of staff they said hello and gave a smile. Being a very hot day was given an ice lolly and some cold fruit. Care home is always very clean and resident are treated well and all need catered for

All the staff extremely friendly and helpful. No complaints about anything.

This home was recommended by the local hospital, and it hasn't disappointed. Great care and attention to details. Fantastic activities and trips offered. Great atmosphere and team spirit - very welcoming. Hair dressing is not good.

QEP has a very happy, homely feel and visitors are always warmly welcomed with a smile.

My husband has been looked after by QEP for many years but I just want to record how wonderful his last few days have been. He died in the care of staff on the second floor and it was such a calm and caring couple of days for him and me.

Mum has been in the QEP for over two and a half years. She is always treated with respect and kindness and staff willingly make the time to update me or listen to any concerns. The activities are outstanding, the home is very well cared for, clean and inviting and overall it is very well managed. The amount of effort put in to celebrate festivals and seasons of the year is truly exceptional .The team have made an effort to adapt to mum's individual needs, and as she has got older and less inclined to join in activities, have tried to have someone sit with her in her room, as much as time allows. Week-ends sometimes seem quiet with less staff around or on call, and Mum sometimes finds this quite difficult. This may be different on first and second floors. Overall I would highly recommend the QEP. There can always be times when things are not quite perfect but the ethos of the home and genuine caring attitude of all the staff is always present. Thank you.

My mother has been at QEP now for a little over 3 years and I am still delighted with the level of care she is receiving. The staff are second to none in their dedication and kindness - and go out of their way to make the residents quality of life as good as humanly possible. I would definitely recommend this care home.

I have responsded to this questionnaire in my capacity as power of attorney for my friend. She has been very well cared for during her 4 years at Queen Elizabeth Park. She is happy, treated with respect and is an active participant in the Homes entertainment programme.

The staff really care and I really appreciate their support to me as well which is a really difficult time.

Very happy and satisfied with the care the staff have shown whilst my brother has been in care. The staff are very helpful and supportive and I am extremely confident that this will continue for the duration of my brothers stay.

Great care home. They look after my mother who is a very frail 90+ lady with dementia. She is safe, well looked after by a great team. I visit regularly to see the home is warm, clean and a happy place.

My mum has been a resident at Queen Elizabeth Park since April 2024. Mum has dementia and, due to mobility issues, is in a wheelchair. Her care needs are extensive, all of Mum's care needs are met with kindness, dignity and compassion. The designated nurse is always available and will give regular updates on Mum's health and wellbeing. The whole team at QEP are absolutely lovely. The daily activities and entertainment are second to none. As a regular visitor, I witness first hand how truly amazing all of the staff are with the residents. It's a real home from home. I cannot speak more highly of QEP and I recommend this home. A real gem/

My father was in Queen Elizabeth Park for only one month. However, I felt we were treated like part of the family very quickly and felt dad was known and settled very seen after moving in. Dad's health deteriorated very quickly, sadly, but he was treated with compassion and care. Every effort was made to make him comfortable in his last fortnight, and I was enormously well supported too. QUP provided a lovely family birthday event and enabled dad to fulfil a wish tree wish in his last few days, and I am very grateful to all who supported us both.

The care home was extremely welcoming from the minute I arrived, throughout. The staff were kind and friendly making me feel actually cared for especially being transferred from the nearest hospital. Having such peace of mind I joined in as many activities as I wanted - again very enjoyable. I intend spending all periods of respite here in the future. Activities offered were wide ranging. 'flew by' and were thoroughly enjoyed by all taking part. Whatever reason they had for being there. Clinical or social.

My mother was at QEP for five and a half years during which time she was extremely well cared for. She became good friends with many of the staff who always treated her with dignity and respect. I was always kept well informed and up to date as to mum's health and wellbeing.

My mother was a resdient at QEP care home for the final 3 years of her life. As her body failed her, the staff met her changing care needs with professionalism, compassion, and kindness. Recommend the home without reservation.
