Queen Elizabeth Park Private Care Home

Having dealt with Queen Elizabeth Park and its staff for only three weeks in May and I have no doubts that I would use them again. Not only did they provide my mother-in-law with super accommodation and excellent care they helped me enormously. This is the best care home I found on my search. Everything about it shouts home. I was recommended and have no hesitation in say try it for our loved ones you will not be disappointed.

I would not hesitate to recommend the home to anyone.

My husband has been twice for respite care and seemed very happy, gained weight both times after being in hospital for a prolonged time.

Having moved my mother here from a less satisfactory home in London, I'm very pleased to say that she is settled well and very happy which means the world to us as a family. She is really enjoying all the activities and interactions with all the other residents and staff. She says she feels happy, safe and that this is her home. I feel confident and happy whenever I leave after a visit that she will be well cared for. Thank you.

There are times when the impression is that the care home is short staffed, particularly in the evenings. More activities aimed at specific needs especially aimed at stimulation.

The staff are most welcoming and helpful. The care home is bright and has a very relaxed but caring atmosphere.

I am confident my father is being cared for to a very high standard. My family and I visit every week and have always been impressed and pleased with the open friendly and professional standards, that go towards his welfare.

I think the home is lovely, all staff are so kind and friendly. There are always things going on for the residents to join in to do. It's like a real home for all residents.

On arrival, always greeted as a friend, Upstairs gain staff are superb at recognising me and making me feel at home. All residents are looked after and cared for as if by their own family. Rooms are lovely, communal areas great, always clean and tidy but homely as well. Tea and cake are fantastic, well-done catering team. I know mum is safe, secure, loved and cared for. Thank you.

My father and I are very happy with the care he receives. The home is pleasant, clean and well maintained. The food is plentiful, nourishing, varied and presented with care. The staff are extremely caring and professional, well motivated and always attentive to detail in caring for dad. The atmosphere is calm, happy and positive.

My mum has been at Queen Elizabeth Park for 8 years. We had to move her there from another home which was not satisfactory. From the moment she arrived there we realised that we had found a real gem and how lucky we were. It has always over 8 years, maintained it's wonderful standards. Mum has been happy there and very well looked after.

My mother did not originally want to go into Queen Elizabeth Park, but the kindness shown by the staff won her over in the end.

She was not there very long, but whilst with them, she was encouraged to join in with all activities which she enjoyed.

The staff are exceptional, kind and warm and made my mum so welcome including the manager (outstanding) and reception (again outstanding). My mum's key workers are again outstanding and look after my mum with great love and care. Great care, great staff. Excellent home!

Respite care for the second time, made very welcome. Lovely room. Very friendly. Would only choose this care home in the future.

My father seemed to be reasonably happy at the care home. He was almost blind and hard of hearing so was unable to go in with the activities which seemed to be good for people who were able, they seemed to be very patient with him when he got frustrated because of his blindness and hearing problems.

My mum has been a resident in QEP for two months now and is very happy and has settled well. The home is very welcoming and staff are friendly, kind and caring. Mum enjoys the wide variety of activities and loves her trips out in the minibus to different places of interest. She has made new friends with both residents and staff and has lots of laughs and fun which makes such a difference to her. There is a good choice of menu and the food is excellent. Mum likes having regular hair appointments at the onsite hairdressing salon. We appreciate your hard work and we are enjoying being part of your kind and caring family.

A cheerful caring staff with a very good caring manager, who in her two years of being here has done more than the previous managers, having improvements made for the benefit of the residents.
