Queen Elizabeth Park provides residential, nursing and dementia care with love and kindness, treating residents as the individuals that they are.

Following personalised care plans designed to meet the individual needs of each resident, the team strives to provide the reassurance that your loved one is being cared for by a team you can trust and rely on. They work hard to involve friends and family in everyday life at the home too.

The home organises a calendar of meaningful activities to suit all tastes and abilities, to support residents’ overall health and wellbeing; from themed parties to choir practice, to djembe drumming and art tutorials, as well as welcoming visits from local musicians, performers, artists and schoolchildren. I have worked or visited many nursing homes during my working life, so I am very fussy. Queen Elizabeth Park exceeds all my expectations. When I first had contact, I visited frequently and was always impressed with the cleanliness, the lack of smell, the availability of cups of tea. The staff always
have time for me, and they are friendly. Lockdown has been hard for everyone. But from what I have been able to observe, the same high standards are being maintained. I have been able to telephone the staff as necessary, and they have phoned me with any problems. The effort made to maintain activities during lockdown has been impressive. My friend was restricted to his room for quarantine at one point, and despite constantly wandering out, the staff seemed to have gently led him back without complaint. I am completely happy with Queen Elizabeth Park and warmly recommend this place.

The staff are friendly and polite and always seem to have time for everyone, nothing is too much trouble for them. They have coped very well in such a difficult time and we are kept very well informed.

My wife has been living at Queen Elizabeth Park for just over 6 months now. At first, I found the transition very hard, living with someone for over 40 years to then have them move away. The staff made this so much easier for me and knowing the care and love they gave both my wife and I helped greatly.
Since the move, I feel that I have gained a family. The home feels like my home and nothing is too much for anyone, from the care staff to the catering team, activities or manager.

My mother was discharged from hospital to this care home on end-of-life care. She survived only two more days. My experience of the care home is limited to that brief period. Since it is necessary to rate the establishment in various respects, I have opted for the middle grade - satisfactory - in most
cases because my limited experience of the home means I cannot be more precise in my judgement. However, because of a particular incident that occurred during my mother's brief stay, I would not recommend the home.

My Mother was admitted with vascular dementia to the Queen Elizabeth Park in June 2018. She died peacefully in July 2019. During her stay, she was treated with kindness, respect, love and professionalism at all times by all the staff. I cannot praise them highly enough. Although Mum was incapacitated,
the staff made sure she was involved in as many activities as possible. The food was always delicious and the facilities spotless. There was no hint of 'old people' smells at any time. The home really did feel like a home! The Manager was always courteous and professional and her attitude filtered down to the rest of the staff.
I would highly recommend this lovely place.

I enjoyed my stay at Queen Elizabeth Park. The staff were very caring. The food was good but sometimes it was cold having come from the floor above. I did find the care home expensive.

My mother went to stay at Queen Elizabeth Park for respite care while recovering from a fall.
We found Queen Elizabeth Park a lovely environment with caring staff. The meals were excellent as was the housekeeping, laundry and management.

Our Mum was taken to (QEP) Queen Elizabeth Park for respite care after suffering a nasty fall and a spell in hospital. It has been a difficult time for our family as a whole but knowing the expert care she has been receiving has helped tremendously! The team of staff at every single level have been
exceptionally kind and caring, with a genuine interest in the welfare of their residents. Our Mum is anxious to go home now and we have a care plan in place. Thank you to each and every one of you who have helped Mum through this crisis.

Having dealt with Queen Elizabeth Park and its staff for only three weeks in May and I have no doubts that I would use them again. Not only did they provide my mother-in-law with super accommodation and excellent care they helped me enormously. This is the best care home I found on my search. Everything
about it shouts home. I was recommended and have no hesitation in say try it for our loved ones you will not be disappointed.

Lovely atmosphere staff are friendly, caring and helpful and listened to my concerns re my husbands care.
My husband has been twice for respite care and seemed very happy, gained weight both times after being in hospital for a prolonged time.

Having moved my mother here from a less satisfactory home in London, I'm very pleased to say that she is settled well and very happy which means the world to us as a family. She is really enjoying all the activities and interactions with all the other residents and staff. She says she feels happy, safe

There are times when the impression is that the care home is short staffed, particularly in the evenings. More activities aimed at specific needs especially aimed at stimulation.

On arrival, always greeted as a friend, Upstairs gain staff are superb at recognising me and making me feel at home. All residents are looked after and cared for as if by their own family. Rooms are lovely, communal areas great, always clean and tidy but homely as well. Tea and cake are fantastic, well-done
catering team. I know mum is safe, secure, loved and cared for. Thank you.
