Came to visit my mother with a friend. Staff very friendly, all acknowledge me with hellos and how are you. Mum was in the dining room talking to staff member and having afternoon tea & cake, with other residents on the table with her.
The home is clean, tidy and very homely. I was also offered tea & cake. Mum had been out on a visit to a garden center, and the staff showed me photos they had taken.
Had to take some items to Mum's room which was very clean, tidy & homely.
After a lovely visit went down to reception, had a lovely cup of coffee and cake whilst having a nice talk with some of the staff about Mum.

Mum seems extremely happy and that's a great comfort to all the family

My relative was resident at Bramley Court for his final 30 months. The nursing care he received was outstanding. I cannot speak highly enough of all the fantastic staff who treated him with the greatest dignity and respect in the full understanding of his specific needs, wishes and fun he liked to enjoy. Knowing that my precious relative would say to me that "he could not have chosen anywhere better to be cared for" was a true comfort together with the way in which I was kept fully informed of my relative's health situation and all of the courteous care shown towards me throughout. With a heartfelt sincere thank you to everyone who will always remain my dear Bramley Court Family.

I continue to be so impressed by the Bramley Court team. Their care is fantastic. The food, the facilities, the activities are all wonderful. What marks them out for me is their exceptional professionalism, particularly of the leadership team, in dealing with what is the very complex case of my relative. This has involved significant interaction with other teams (social services, police, hospital, GP). Their professionalism is matched by their compassion and their support, both for my relative and for me and my family. I am so very grateful that we found Bramley! Useful to note how we did arrive there - because it had been chosen by two medical daughters for their father, our old neighbour. That was a good recommendation to begin with, and our expectations have been exceeded.

My wife received extraordinary care that was delivered with patience, warmth and kindness. As her disease progressed she was surrounded by people who treated her with affection & dignity. The dedication of all of the staff took things way beyond the daily routines of care and made her be seen and valued. Thanks must be given for every moment of compassion and patience. I will always remember what you did for my wife with gratitude and heartfelt appreciation.

I think the atmosphere is extremely warm and friendly and welcoming. The staff are all extremely caring to their resident. I gave a tea party in the private dining room recently and it was beautifully arranged and served with pretty bone china cups, saucers and places, scrumptious sandwiches (dainty with all crusts removed) sponge cakes and home-made cookies. Equal to Ritz dining.

My mum and her husband both moved to Bramley Court about 18 month ago. We cannot fault the care and support that they receive/received. Her husband has recently passed away, the care he received at the end of his life was exceptional.

The care, love and support my mum has recived since him passing as well as the support to our family has been amazing. We are pleased that it is so homely here and we have total peace of mind that she will be well cared for.

There is a lovely atmosphere at Bramley Court. Everyone is welcoming, pleasant and helpful. This is my husband's first stay in a nursing home. He enjoyed several activities. Looking forward to future visits. As we live next door I was able to visit John every day, join in some of the activities and stay for lunch sometimes.

Bramley Court Care Home gave my wife exceptional care and love for the nineteen months she was with you before she passed away at the end of 2024. She settled in immediately the day she arrived and though she could no longer communicate intelligibly, she always seemed content, greeting us with big smiles. You handled the inevitable decline of her basic facilities with no fuss and great support and up into her last few days ensured she was always in the public areas which never let her feel isolated or alone. One member of staff had prepared us several months ago for the likely course of events in her final days. The team were amazing in that last week of her life, arranging doctors' visits and the required medicines over the holiday period, the nurses checking on her regularly and the carers making my wife comfortable every couple of hours. You looked after us, the family, around her bed throughout brilliantly with food and drink, night and day. It was a very moving occasion for us.

A top-rate care home that not only gives all the help and support to my wife but also cares how I am and how I feel. I am lucky to be part of the Bramley Court Care Home family and thank them for all they do. I am always welcomed when I arrive and asked how I am. The manager will often ask me into her office to find out how I am coping, the fact that my wife has been in the home with a terminal illness for thirteen years and the staff show such kindness allows me to have a life and for that, I am very grateful.

I visit my mother at Bramley Court Care Home and am always pleased to see how well cared for she is and how available and friendly the team are.
Mum is very settled and comfortable there and I am reassured that she is getting the best possible care while maintaining her privacy and dignity.

I'm so pleased that Mum has the opportunity to join in the activities and is escorted on trips so that she gets a change of scenery and some time outside, which is really important to her.

Overall Experience
Care given was competent, reliable, with empathy and they did what they promised when we chose them. I feel I can trust the home completely to look after my relative in the way I would like to look after him. The staff appeared very well supported by their leaders and this showed in the care they gave. I have had experience of many care homes in my professional life and feel that Bramley Court Care Home is outstanding in the well-thought-out care and atmosphere it has.

There has to be a negative in any review and some of the decor seemed a bit dated. But that really is the only criticism and to be honest, it could be a valid choice for a care home looking after older people.

My dad died peacefully at Bramley in May, he was a resident since Feb. His care was outstanding and my whole family feel fortunate he could be there for his last few months. His end-of-life care was so compassionate. The staff looked after him and us too. It touched us so much that staff came to say goodbye to him and so obviously cared about him, Bramley will always have a special place in our hearts.
We had such a warm welcome on our first visit, especially from the Dementia lead.
Family and friends who visited said it felt so much nicer than other homes they have experienced.
The dementia floor is bright and cheerful as are the staff on it. Great activities and it was heartening to see Dad interacting so positively with the carers.
The private dining room for some family meals was fabulous.

As a doctor I was impressed by the admission advance care plan and the monthly detailed care plans. It is a brilliant example of how residential, nursing and end-of-life care should be.
