Since moving to the dementia floor, my husband has had excellent treatment, is very caring, and takes time to talk to him, especially about his main interest. He has been taken out of bed more often and placed in the communal areas. As a visitor, I have been made to feel very welcome and kept informed if there is any change in his condition.

He was well looked after on his previous floor, but it is now more personal.

My mother has been a resident here for almost a year now, and I always feel very welcome when I go to visit Mum. The staff are very approachable, and regular relatives meetings provide an opportunity to keep in touch with what is being planned and implemented. The standard of care seems quite good, and the room is perfectly adequate. The facilities are very good. The food can be a bit variable, but there is always a choice, at lunch and at dinner time. I don't think we could have found anywhere better locally.

As usual, Bramley has made the Christmas Fayre a happy and festive occasion.
Much needed after Covid!
I cannot thank all staff enough for the care, love and support they show towards my mother.

I could not cope without them... all year round.

My husband is being extremely well looked after in Bramley Court. As his dementia has got worse, so has his care been varied to meet his changing needs. The staff have got to know him well and are very caring. I also feel they care for me, helping me cope with his deterioration. I feel part of the Bramley family and am able to raise issues as needed. I don't think he could be in a better place.

A regular dementia support group of family members has been a great help too.

Care staff on my mother's floor (nursing) are very variable, some excellent, some OK, some unsatisfactory.
Often not enough care taken with positioning or feeding.
In my opinion, there is a bias towards entertaining the residents on the ground floor.

My mother cannot see much, meaning her main pleasure is through music or interaction with others. This is not available enough on her floor.

We moved Mum from another home as we were unhappy with the care she was receiving. We had to try but were not sure it would make a difference. From day one, we knew we'd made the right decision. Bramley Court is very welcoming. It feels like a home environment, which not only the residents, but family members too benefit from. Communication is excellent. The facilities and activities available are extremely high quality. All the staff are friendly, helpful and kind, even ones I encounter who are not part of Mum's team. Mum's carers and medics have taken time to understand and know her and us and it is wonderful to share humour, despite sad circumstances. The staff are patient and kind and go beyond duty, I feel, to try and improve her limited life quality. I believe Bramley to be exceptional care.

My mum, who is over 100 years old, is in end of life care. Sad of course for our family, but Bramley Court staff are so supportive of us and me in particular. Mum is very comfortable and in no kind of pain or distress and the carers really can't do enough for her. Bramley Court have kept us informed of any developments and are happy to spend time with me when I visit.

An excellent care home. Cannot fault it at all. My husband has been there for about eight months and the care and nursing etc is all first class. The food is homemade, all the rooms are lovely and clean all the time. The staff are really caring and kind and thoughtful. They have a lovely garden for all the patients and visiting relatives to sit in. Also, a lovely reading room and lounges to use. Home from home.

A wonderful care home. Staff are incredibly kind and patient and a truly welcoming place for relatives too. Never have a doubt that my mother is looked after to the very best of their ability. My father was also here for his final 18 months, from 2019-2021 and although he was lost mentally to Alzheimer’s, he knew he was safe and loved. Staff still speak of him with great affection, which is an ongoing comfort to my mother. Even in the horrors of Covid, they did all they could to keep us connected as a family and I am so thankful they were with Dad at the end when we couldn’t be. They try and make every day as rich and rewarding as they can for the residents, to ensure they live their best possible lives, with love, joy and dignity.

My husband has been cared for at Bramley Court for nearly five years. The staff have been amazing. Struggling cheerfully, through all the covid problems. The continuity of familiar staff has been very important and indicative of a good working environment.

My cousin has been a resident in Bramley Court Care Home for the last two years. She has had to attend hospital on a few occasions, (not due to any mishaps within the home but through illness) everyone one at Bramley has treated her with love and kindness and made her feel safe. Unfortunately, she has dementia and doesn't really know us now, but we know she is still treated with dignity and respect for which we are truly thankful.

My uncle stayed at Bramley Court for end of life care. He could not have found better care, he took part in all that he was able to do. Often telling us he had been to the gym - when he had been doing exercises. The nursing staff and carers were amazing with him, he had sores, but with their expertise and care these healed making life more comfortable for him. During lockdown when unable to visit the staff assisted with Zoom calls so we could keep in touch and be able to see him. The staff supported the family by giving regular updates, showing care and compassion. My uncle would say 'they are looking after me well' which says it all really.

We moved my father to Bramley Court after a bad experience in a previous home. Immediately it became apparent that this place was special. 'Trust' - we trust Bramley with our dear Dad. They show immense love, kindness and patience with the residents, they seem to get to know them, not just as the people they are, but as the people they were. My Dad was a shy, kind engineer; they know that, and he is treated as such. They deserve their good reputation.
