Good afternoon to you all. My mother was offered a Respite stay at Rosedale Court Rayleigh from January to April 2023. Her stay at Rosedale has been generally very good, many of the nursing and care staff have been absolutely great. However, over the past three months, my mother has been well looked
after and kept in good spirits by the staff, in some cases the staff have excelled in looking after mum. The only negative things I should point out are as follows. The food has been very similar each day. If you like carrots and mash then this is really the place for you! The food is often served cold with many items hard and overcooked, however, I believe Rosedale is doing their best to change the food. I guess the most important thing to point out is the lack of continuity for the night staff and in some cases the day staff, for many of the people staying in this type of home it is important for them to know and recognise the staff who are supposed to look after them.

I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am for the care my father-in-law received before his passing. From the cleaners to the managers, every single member of staff played a part in making his time in Rosedale comfortable. They really do have an exceptional team and we were sad to say goodbye! Thank

My father has been in the home since last August. I have many issues with the home. I find the lack of carers and interaction with the patients very disappointing. The nurses seem constantly in their office glued to a computer, when I have questioned them on this I was told it was because all of the
care plans are on there. Surely caring for people should be more of a priority.

Not very happy with the care my wife is receiving, not to the standard required. I have complained about certain staff as my wife has bruises on her arm from being manhandled. She is left in a terrible state. Her room smells strongly of urine where she is left in an uncomfortable state. Not happy.

Very pleased with the care my mother received during 2021 when we had the Covid epidemic.
The carers kept in contact with me to complete six months assessment and any concerns they had. The room is cleaned regularly and whenever I highlight any concerns, they rectify professionally with willingness.
Thank you to all the staff for making mum's life comfortable and treating her with dignity.

My mum has been here for many years and in that time I have found all the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. They treat my mum very well, seeing to her needs at all times. She always looks clean. They turn her frequently and do everything that they can for mum. I give this home 100% at all times.

Having moved mum here in September I cannot recommend the nursing care highly enough. Mum is clean, happy, and content. The team care for mum and understand her needs. When I leave here I have no worries about how she will be looked after.
The office staff and manager are always polite and helpful

Whenever I visit my aunt she always looks clean and well cared for. During this last year, Rosedale have coped very well with the Covid pandemic and continue to monitor visiting with extreme care, making sure all residents are kept safe.

Visited my father on the 8th of March, very well organised and safe visit. My Dad was found to be well looked after and in good spirits. Rosedale looked extremely clean. All staff are amazing very happy how my Dad had been looked after during lockdown since March 2020.
