The staff at Seven Arches provided exceptional care for my husband, who has multiple health problems. Their kindness and professionalism made a very difficult time in our lives more tolerable and manageable.

Our sincere thanks to the entire team.

In the month my husband has been in Seven Arches, he and his family members have been treated with good care, kindness and friendliness and made to feel very welcome. All staff have been excellent (carers, nurses, catering, laundry and domestic staff). It is a lovely, bright and cheerful, homely environment.

During our recent visits to Seven Arches to visit my late sister, the greeting received from all the staff was so warming. The manageress, nurses, carers and kitchen staff were always welcoming, polite, caring, supportive and professional, making our visits pleasant during difficult times. The care my sister received was first class, nothing was an issue, and all the staff were kind and helpful, nothing was an issue. First class, thank you to a lovely manageress and all the staff for ensuring my sister's stay was comfortable.

My mother spent the last eight weeks of her life at Seven Arches. The carers were extremely attentive, always checking on her and getting her out of bed to go to the lounge. They have enough staff to assist with feeding at every meal. The home is very well run, and the manager is available. The attention my mother received, given how high her needs were, was excellent. Thank you.

My aunt has been in Seven Arches for a good few years now, and we have all been at ease knowing she is well-fed and looked after with such care and devotion from all the staff in all departments. During lockdown, we had video calls and window visits, which really helped not only my aunt but the family too. When we visit, we are offered drinks in the garden, which is beautiful and their sensory garden too. It's a real family home, and the manager welcomes you with a big smile, and the activity lady works ever so hard doing fundraising events. We chose the perfect home.

I am able to talk to staff, even at night, if I wake up!
It is like staying at a five-star hotel.
I am very happy here.
Overall, a very happy experience.

Some more trips outside of the home would be great.

My nan has been in Seven Arches since just before the start of lockdown, which was so hard for her as she is such a family lady and the rock to our family. However, the home worked endlessly with window visits, video calls and taking photos to put in cards and sent to families so they could see their relatives having fun. This also gave us peace of mind to know they were keeping their spirits up. When Nan went into the home, she couldn't talk or eat due to having a stroke, but with the brilliant care from staff and encouragement from the activities lady, Nan is now able to say words and is eating three meals a day, which we never thought we would see. There are always different things going on to help with fundraising with coffee mornings, fetes and quiz nights. There's a happy, homely atmosphere with all the staff interacting with residents and families. The manager has been really helpful and worked her magic when Grandad had to come to the home.

I have a dear friend residing at Arches Nursing home. When I visited, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was everywhere. I was greeted at the door by one of the staff, who made me feel very welcome; there was an instant family feel as soon as I stepped foot in the door. My friend looked beautiful and clean, and it was clear to see that she is being very well cared for. The staff were all really friendly, and all the residents in the lounge engaged happily with them all, which was great to see. My friend is so happy at this home.

Thank you all for your love, care and dedication.

I moved my husband to Seven Arches from a local care home as I was extremely unhappy with the standard of care there. Since the move, he has thrived. He is clean, out of bed daily, smiles and tried to put words together - something he has not done for over a year. The staff are welcoming, and the manager is always visible around the home.

I am so very happy he is out of his previous home.

The staff are exceptionally caring. Staff retention seems good, which I think helps as they seem to understand the needs of individual residents and anticipate their needs in an individual manner. The manager has a hands-on approach and is always available. She always goes to chat with the residents/relatives/staff. The entertainment lady is a wonderful addition to the team.

Since arriving, my mum has been treated with such care and love; it's been heart-warming. Everyone is so committed and attentive; it gives me so much confidence that the best care is being given to my mum. What is so wonderful is how my mum's dignity is maintained at all times. Although I know that she is bedridden for so much of the day, she is always dressed, clean, and so wonderfully comfortable; it is a pleasure to see. I thank the team, who are so friendly and welcoming.

I found the staff to be very friendly, courteous and caring. Mum was very well looked after in her 8-month stay. In-house communications could be better; sometimes, it seemed that not all information was being shared with all relevant staff. Other than that, recommended!

Mother was admitted in January 2022. We were immediately aware of the pleasant ambience and the courtesy of management and staff. Mother had a lovely room and was a happy and active resident until her dementia overcame her capabilities. Day and night nursing and care staff behaved with compassion and professionalism to the end. Any criticism would seem childish, and other than occasional glitches in communication, our overall impression was of caring excellence.

My mother has been a resident of Seven Arches Nursing home for the past three years following a major stroke. My mum has very limited communication, and all the staff are absolutely brilliant; they all give Mum the love and respect that they would give to their own family members. Mum is always spotlessly clean, and the staff always go the extra mile like painting her nails and doing her hair.
Sadly, back in December 2021, my father was on end-of-life care in the local hospital, and the management and staff at Seven Arches went above and beyond to get my father to the nursing home so that my parents could spend this precious time together. This was done with dignity and love and meant so much to my mum that she was able to be by my father's side.
The additional activities that the home does for all the residents are amazing; the staff do this out of love and not because they have to.

I have peace of mind knowing that Mum is cared for, but most importantly, the staff show her love.

Mum was taken to Seven Arches Nursing Home two years ago. We found the staff extremely caring and very careful when Mum had episodes of illness.
There was a personal touch I felt that was given, and some staff members made a point of spending time getting to know Mum.
Some of the time during our stay there were Covid rules in place, so we were unable to visit, but the manager made arrangements that we could see Mum through a doorway, which was considerate and appreciated.
There is a particular staff member who stands out for me, and that is the lady who arranges activities and fundraising events and through this, gave us all some very special memories with Mum.
During Mum's final hours - we were treated with such kindness and consideration - the staff members made those final hours more bearable, and they went above and beyond any expectations.

My overall experience of this nursing home is a positive one.

My relative was looked after well in this care home. The staff were all very friendly and approachable at all times.
During the pandemic, procedures were adhered to strictly to ensure the safety and protection of residents.
Activities and events were planned and managed well. Welcoming family members to attend. They were great fun, and I am very grateful for some of the memories we have.

The night staff were exceptional in my relative's last hours. Kind, caring and compassionate, which made our difficult experience that little bit easier.

My mum was a resident from November 2020 to July 2022.
Despite arriving during lockdown with a challenging condition, the home and staff cared for her very well. She was treated like family.
The nurses and staff always did their absolute best for our mum, and she was looked after well.
We were often invited to activity and social fundraising days, which were excellent, and we always felt part of the care home extended family.
The nursing care is excellent.

On the night my mum died, the home couldn't have done more to support our family, and we will be forever grateful to them.

My father spent his last 2 weeks of life here and I regret my choice for the condition he had and the time he had left. The staff were friendly enough but some lacked the understanding and experience for his type of care and communication was very poor, which made it quite stressful for myself and him. And I didn't make it in time for his final moments as I didn't get the call I requested soon enough.
