My husband has been a resident for over 5 years. He suffers with dementia. During this time he has received excellent care in every aspect.
I am always welcomed when I visit and kept informed about his wellbeing. He is always spoken to and encouraged to take part in activities. I am completely happy
with every aspect of his care and life.
NB: Whenever a new member of the care team arrives they immediately know who I am!

My family and I find the have very personable, decorated like a persons home would be, allowing the resident to feel he's always lived there, dad was always planting flowers or cutting the grass so the garden in the nice weather is lovely too. The staff are kind and friendly and the meals are lovely,
snacks galore in between. There are also some activities that dad enjoys a great home.

I have been visiting my husband at Ranvilles for many years. In all this time I have found all the staff act in a professional and caring way. They treat all the residents with dignity. The staff can adapt to changing circumstances, and work as a close knit team. The residents rooms are kept clean,
tidy and redecorated when necessary. The food is adapted to individual needs and always good quality. Activities always coming up with good new ideas which suit the residents. Thank you.

A wonderful nursing home, perfectly laid out with wide corridors, two large comfortable lounges and a large dining room. Each residential room is adequate with a walk in toilet/wet room. A lovely patio and garden overlooking Southampton Water which was ideal during the recent warm weather. All the staff
that I have encountered have been very polite, patient and very caring. From my experience I don't think that many similar places could better with the environment, and caring staff and management.
Reply from Luke Groves, Administrator at Waterside House Nursing HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review. My Mum has been at Waterside for three months now and she is settled, happy and content. It is a lovely residence and very well designed all staff are approachable, friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Nothing is too much trouble for them and there is always someone available if you need
to speak to them. Oh, and the tea/coffee and biscuits offered to visitors is much appreciated.

Mum has settled well in a welcoming and friendly environment, all staff are helpful and pleasant, she loves getting her food menus and choosing what meals she would like there is a great choice. Mum loves visiting the in house hair salon to get her hair done and has also discovered the fab bath with
lights and bubbles and is enjoying this a lot, like that when we visit we are always offered a hot drink and biscuits. Would highly recommend this care home.

Very satisfied with everything - was surprised that the manager office was moved from ground floor up to the attic!! Seems that she is now further away if you wanted to see her if you had any problems.
Reply from Shan Visram, Director at Brookvale HouseThank you for your review of Brookvale House. The manager was only on the ground floor temporarily whilst work was being done to the office space upstairs.
