Very satisfied with everything - was surprised that the manager office was moved from ground floor up to the attic!! Seems that she is now further away if you wanted to see her if you had any problems.

Thank you for your review of Brookvale House.The manager was only on the ground floor temporarily whilst work was being done to the office space upstairs. The manager will always be available and if she is not on the floor with the team, the admin can call her and she will make her way down to talk with the families about anything and resolve any concerns that you may have.

My husband seem settled & happy & eats well the staff are alway's helpfull & anything you need to know they do their best to help & advise you in everthing. If there has been a problem they always let you know. I'm very happy with everthing the staff always let you know whats going on the entertainment

I visit for an hour every two weeks and it always seems that Mum is well looked after. Her health has improved since she came here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brookvale House to others.

I visit a couple of times a month to see my brother-in-law. The Home is very welcoming and I know that my brother-in-law is very happy. He has settled well. The home is excellent staff are very nice very professional and very friendly. Always approachable if you have any questions to ask. However I did think it was a bit odd when the manager was moved to a new office which is now located right up in the top of the building.. before she was on the ground
floor which was more convienent to speak too. May I just add that we wish her well for her retirement and a big thank you to everybody.

Even with the Manager's office on the top floor, they do spend the majority of their time on the floor overseeing the Home. This will not change when the new manager starts and they will always been available for a chat when you are visiting.

My mother-in-law has been at Brookvale House nearly 3 years and we are very pleased with the care she receives. The staff are always friendly and caring. The lady does an excellent job with the entertainment programme. There is something going on everyday. I recommended the home to a friend for her
sister and she is very grateful to me.

I am very happy with the wonderful care my husband received. He is happy & contented therefore so am I. Apart from the care aspect there have been numerous activities in which both residents & family members are encouraged to participate, which we thoroughly enjoy. The pumpkin carving & Halloween party
were a great success as was the pantamime & Christmas party and raffle. There was also a celebration of New Year. Congratulations to all the staff. Thank you.

Clients were well entertained, I attended two functions, with outside entertainers. Residents were really enjoying themselves. The place was decorated for the festive season.

My nan has been at Brookvale House almost a year now. I am so much happier now that she is here. I know that she is well looked after at all times. The care in this home is phenomenally excellent. I visit daily and have a good feel for day-to-day activity in the home.
Christmas 2024 was delightfully catered - many Christmas trees/decorations, singing, panto etc. and delicious food/delicacies.
The staff are competent, caring, patient and smiley.
My husband is contented.

Dad has settled into the home with help from the kind staff.
The home itself has a cosy atmosphere, "a home from home".
When I visit Dad, the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. They are always ready to help and are so kind.
