The staff at Langley Lodge were all wonderful, looked after our dad so well, made him comfortable and attended to his needs in a professional manner. We are so grateful for the way they looked after him right till the very end. They even made teas and coffees for mum and I when we visited him. I can't thank them enough.

My Mum sadly only had a short stay before she passed away. During that time she was very well looked after by the staff and we as a family were cared for too.

These are the most difficult days any of us will experience, the death of a beloved parent. We would recommend Langley to any other family going through the same.

Langley Lodge has exceeded my expectations of what a nursing home would be like. My dad was brought in for palliative care and right from the start the care he received was outstanding. All nursing staff and care staff were so friendly not just to dad but to family as well. All staff were happy and looked like they wanted to be there. Even the chef and cleaning staff would pop in to see him with a cheerful word and a smile. My dad was even appearing to get better for a while from the care he received. Sadly dad eventually passed with dignity and respect and I thank you all for what you did for him and us.

The staff were friendly, all our questions answered with honesty and such a warm homely feeling.

Langley Lodge is a fantastic care home with lovely caring staff. I mean this from the bottom of my heart, staff are very professional, all of them from the cleaners all the way up to the management. The rooms are just as you would want them clean everything you want and need, food is good, dietry dislikes to food are all taken care of. There is a lovely conservatory where you can go and sit, eat, watch television although there is one in every room. Langley Lodge is always lovely and warm.

Although Mum was only at Langley Lodge for the last two weeks of her life, she was treated with care and respect. She was washed every day, her hair brushed, her teeth cleaned and clean clothes every morning. After months of being in hospital where for obvious reasons, personal care takes a back seat. Mum was given her dignity back at the end.

My dad came to Langley Lodge after a stay in hospital. He was sent there for palliative care and we were unsure whether this was a suitable place for him. We need not have worried as he was shown care and compassion by all the staff and this was also extended towards visiting family and friends. My mum, brothers, grandchildren and wider family would like to thank all the lovely staff for looking after Dad and treating him with the utmost dignity and respect. Nothing was too much trouble, thank you so much.

My mum came to Langley from hospital in May and was in need of quite a lot of care. Over the past three months the staff have helped her get mobile again; healed an ungradeable bed sore and given her back her confidence to be independent. All of the staff are incredibly caring, kind and treat Mum with love and dignity. The food is freshly prepared and home-cooked and excellent quality - nothing is too much trouble for the residents. The home is always clean and the communal areas filled with flowers and welcoming. The volunteers who come in to carry out activities are also amazing - pamper days; themed nights - it really makes the residents feel special. They have truly worked miracles in making Mum well again! I will be forever grateful for their help giving us back our mum and I know that she will miss them all lots when she goes home. A truly outstanding care home.

My terminally ill dad arrived at the lodge in an emergency and was warmly welcomed. The staff were fantastic, they were caring and compassionate at all times, nothing was too much trouble. They took great care of my dad in his last couple of weeks and even though we were visiting they took good care of us as well. Would highly recommend.

Langley Lodge cared for my dad for 4 weeks after a diagnosis of stage 4 brain tumors.
The staff were amazing and so caring, just like family.
They treated him with dignity, respect and also love.
When the time came and my dad passed, there was no hurry and the staff said to take as long as you would like to say goodbye.

I would 100% recommend Langley Lodge to anyone looking for a care home.

My dearest friend went to stay in Langley Lodge. She was end of life. The commitment of staff made her three weeks there very happy. The home is a bit tatty and needs a refurbishment, but right from the medically trained staff, carers, housekeepers, kitchen and maintenance, all were fantastic! A lot of the staff have been there some time, which says it all... a good environment to work in.

Thank you, Langley Lodge; you all deserve a pat on the back!

Thank you to everyone who cared for my grandad for the last seven months of his life. My mum was worried about choosing a care home for him, but she made the right choice. The staff here are amazing. My grandad loved all the staff, and they treated him with care and dignity. The home was always spotlessly clean and always smelt fresh and clean.
