Shortly after my review in September, my darling husband had a chest infection and died peacefully on the 1st of October. The care he received was brilliant, at the end I was holding him, the manager was monitoring his pulse and keeping me informed. The after care I have received has amazed me, when my time comes I hope I get the same love, care and attention that my darling husband received at Challoner House. I would like to thank ALL the staff, and a special thanks to the deputy manager who delivered a lovely tribute at my husbands funeral.
I have spent periods of respite at Challoner House and have enjoyed these times. I found the staff very willing and keen to help. I look forward to the activities and enjoyed the team work from all of the departments of Challoner House.
We knew Challoner House was the right nursing home for dad straight away after visiting. Dad has complex needs and Challoner House have done their upmost to care and look after him. All aspects of his care are excellent. Staff at Challoner House love their jobs and this shows through the excellent service. My dad would be the first to complain about anything if it wasn't right and I haven't heard a thing.
