Very happy Mum is at Challoner House. She is well looked after by all the staff, who are, without exception, lovely, kind, caring and attentive. Mum has been very happy since coming here in August 2024. Had an issue with mum receiving funded nursing care, but management pursued this, and it has all been sorted.

All the staff genuinely care. I am only able to visit every so often due to not being based in Hampshire, and it is so lovely to see the staff popping their head in to see how she is whilst we are there.

Thank you for your very kind words. It is a pleasure to look after your Mum.
My experiance was very good, I felt cared for and most of the staff were empathetic - I appreciate that shortness of staff is an issue, so it is difficult to get an immediate response (at times).
I have one suggestionto make - There is no food or hot drink offered between 5.30 pm and 9 am the next day. Sometimes if you ask you can get a drink. But it is an awfully long time, and less articulate patients will not ask!
Thank you very much for your review. I am very sorry to hear this as there is always food and drink available 24 hours a day and staff always have access to the kitchen. I apologise that this was not communicated to you.Thank you for your feedback. I will feed this back to my team so this will not happen again. We are always here if you need any assistance in the future.
The staff are all amazing and looked after my brother during his last few weeks before his passing. Thank you so much
Thank you for your kind words. It was our pleasure caring for your brother.
In one word , my experience of the whole care package is "exemplary". Having been a carer of my wife for over 20 years, I am well aware of the tasks facing a carer. Challoner House carehome fully met the requirements I expected. All the staff, from the cleaners to the managers were polite, cheerful and mostly accessible. The food was excellent!
The senior general manager and her team say thank you for you kind lovely words it was a pleasure looking after your beautiful wife, Please keep in contact we are always here even if you just fancy a coffee.
