I cannot thank the team at this care home enough for the lovely care that was provided for my mum from the moment she moved in from hospital. The staff made mum safe which is so important and made everyone feel so welcomed. The rooms are spotless the facilities were there when needed. It was a relief mum was well cared for, secure, friendly environment, highly recommended.

My father-in-law had dementia and other ailments when admitted to the care home. From the first day to the last, we have had absolutely fabulous care for my father-in-law, he was well looked after and loved by all of the staff, including catering, care staff, nursing staff and managers. I would highly recommend the care home to anyone needing care, love & stability.

Mum came into the home in August 25 with cancer and was told she would ahve 10-12 weeks to live. From day 1 the staff created a loving bond and Mum felt secure. As Mum's health declined the kindness and care increased. They made a great effort to get her upstairs to the Xmaas party, seeing her singing the carols is a lasting memory. Special praise must go to Jess, Kanchi & Natalie who were so kind to her and us as a family.

The care home is very tired and could do with a bit of modernisation. Apart from that, the care is wonderful. The decor is in need of brightening up. Better ventilation as it smells of urine.

My Mum has been in the home since September 2023. Was very tough for her and me at the beginning but slowly it became easier. I visit my Mum nearly every day and help make sure she eats dinner etc. I feel the staff also need to make sure she drinks plenty as I usually get there to find the same drinks there! The staff are mainly lovely and caring but I feel over the last few months they don't seem happy as a team! Mum and I feel like it's her home now.

I feel confident that my husband is well cared for. He is bedridden, but always kept clean. The food is very good. The staff are friendly and mostly helpful. There have been occasions when items I have taken in for my husband, for example, shaving foam, and razors have disappeared and not been available for me to use. In general, however, I am happy with his care. It would be nice if sometimes my husband could participate in the entertainment/activities as he is always left in his room. It would also be nice if management would make themselves known, as I visit daily and don't ever see them. Thank you.

A really nice rest home with peaceful surroundings and well lit. Car parking was easily accessible.
Dad has enjoyed a trouble free 2 and a half weeks and has been well looked after by many friendly and competent staff.
On my visits, I was assisted with where to go and found the staff were more than willing to help out if Dad needed something.

Phoning the home was east enough and reception clean.

Mum was transferred here on discharge from hospital. She had a lovely little room which had the sunshine in the afternoon, which she always enjoyed. She was here for around four weeks until she passed. I cannot give higher praise for all the staff, nursing staff, carers, laundry, and catering, everyone I came across was kind, patient and provided the utmost care for my mum in her final days. Treated well with full attention, care and dignity. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the care and kindness, I could not have asked for anything better.

I have had a quite outstanding time here. The staff on all shifts have been so friendly and helpful and the kitchen staff will try to make what you ask for.
I could nit pick about storage/electric plug ins etc, but you cannot tailor make rooms.

Without any doubt, I give staying her an excellent mark.

I came here in October 2023 as I am completely on my own in the world and have kidney disease, type 2 diabetes and arthritis having dialysis 3 days a week at the hospital. I could not have found a better nursing home. I have a lovely room, a wonderful, loving family in my dearest carers and my darling nurses, the very nice kitchen staff, office and entertainment staff. I am very happy here and very content.

My mother had been a resident at Chandlers Ford Care Home for just a year when sadly she passed away in hospital. The staff were amazing, looking after my mother thoughtfully and with kindness. Always with a smile and a cheery word, Mum had settled into a regular routine and was comfortable in her new home. Thank you everyone for taking care of my mother and being so welcoming and kind.

My dad is extremely well cared for. The staff do a fantastic job, even under difficult circumstances as my dad sufferers from Alzheimer's, so, not always cooperative. My mum visits every day so is able to witness the wonderful way in which they help my dad. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent, and the accommodation is comfortable. I would not want my dad to be in any other care home. We are extremely fortunate that he receives such good care.
