The challenge is considerable dealing with those who are too much of a handful to continue to stay at home. Not all residents are complacent, nor are memories or continence intact. Not every member of staff is perfect all the time but it is almost impossible to get the job done without a sense of urgency on occasions. This disparate collection of staff have been lead into a concerned and caring team and can take pride in their ongoing achievement.

I was in Court Lodge for two week’s post operative care . The staff were always caring and ready to spend time and listen to comments. I enjoyed choosing from a menu every day and appreciated the attempt to lay on various entertainments in the lounge.

Overall Experience

When you walk into Court Lodge, there is always a warm reception. The atmosphere is very homely and friendly and there is always something going on, whether it be music, singing, crafts etc. The residents all seem content and well cared for. Cleanliness is always very good, the food is excellent, and the care given is second to none. Someone always pops their head into the room, very regularly to make sure all is well. It's a very cosy, comfortable and clean place, with brilliant care given, and lovely staff, always helpful and cheerful. I am very happy to visit, it's a good experience.
